My roommate recommended this face wash to me a long time ago and I was kind of skeptical about it. Usually face washes aren't that great at removing makeup but oh my goodness this stuff is excellent. It comes in a nice long bottle with a convenient foam pump. All you have to do it use this stuff on your face and especially focus on the eye area and in one wash your makeup is GONE. Even waterproof mascara is removed by this stuff, it is truly amazing. It is not drying at all, I use cetaphil after this and it does not irritate my skin using 2 different kinds of cleansers. You feel super fresh and it doesn't break you out at all. I recommend this to everyone because it is truly the easiest way to remove your makeup without tugging and rubbing on your skin.

I really like it! It completely dissolves my make-up and leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. What I like best about it is that it can be used to remove eye-make up (I don't like using eye-make up removers) without irritating the eyes.

I LOVE this product; I recently reached out to Clean & Clear because I have not seen this product on shelves (i.e. Wal-Mart/Target where I usually purchased it) and they confirmed that this product is discontinued :( :(
I'll give a bit of background of myself and how this product worked for me:
I have pretty oily skin, I like to try face cleansers and this happened to be one I picked up to try years ago. I fell in love with how it made my face clean & makeup free. I always use a toner afterwards and check to see how much makeup the cleanser was able to take off and 100% of the time, it takes off 95% of my make up (it does not completely take off my eye liner so I have to use eye makeup remover). No other cleansers have come close to what this cleanser can do, I've gone through bottles! Also, I found that one bottle can last a really really really long time, I have one right now that looks like it has no liquid in it but when I use the pump, product continues to come out.
I see that Clean & Clear has the Clean & Clear Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleansing Wipes now, I guess that will be the next best thing after I my bottle completely runs out :/

I would've thought this was discontinued, since I bought it at Big Lots, but I'll be happy if I'm wrong.
I use this in the shower in the morning, and I've been very pleased with it. Not drying or irritating, and it does seem to rinse very clean without much effort.
I have a bunch of facial cleansers to use up before I buy another one, but I would definitely re-purchase this one.

I really, really like this and am on my second bottle. I don't need to use a lot of product and the foam helps me spread that little bit around. This gets off all of my makeup including heavy eyeliner. I also like to use it to clean my makeup brushes. Works better than dish soap and feels gentler on the bristles.
My face is normal, but I do find I like this a bit more in the summer when it's oilier. In winter, I have to combat the dryness with a moisturizer.
For reference, other face washes I like are Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel and Alpha Hydrox Foaming Face Wash and Oil of Olay Foaming Face Wash--Sensitive Skin. The only one I like as much as this one is the Boscia.

I used to love this product! I would have given it 5 stars&this is my third bottle. I had not been using this product for pretty well a year, but since I ran out of my other face washes&am tight on cash (it was under 6$ at Wal-mart) I decided to buy it again. I remember it being great for washing all of my make-up off in one step, however I find that it does not remove the mascara I am currently using very well (Benefit They're Real) Also, my face is slightly dehydrated lately from acne treatments, and this face wash left my skin feeling pretty tight. You may need a separate remover for mascara, but all in all this product is pretty great. I just don't think it suits my skin at the moment.

I wear mascara and heavy coverage foundation often. I hate removing mascara and eyeliner with makeup remover and cotton ball or pad because it wipes of all over my face. With foundation I have to go over a million times. This though removes it like a charm. When removing mascara i massage my lashes and I can just feel that stiff mascara breaking down and ready to be rinsed off. Same with my foundation. Right after I rinse I can feel every single speck of makeup off my face. I'm on my second bottle of this and I just know I'll be using this for a long time to come. My acne has reduced because I'm removing my makeup properly now. With this you get the deep clean, then If you cleanse you face afterward your skin will just feel amazingly clean and pure. I am in love with this. It takes time to look good but you don't want to spend too much time getting it all off. The pump dispenses the greatest amounts. You could remove only eye makeup and concealer with one pump. With two you remove you entire face makeup with the eye makeup as well. My cousin uses this also and she wears that loud bold edgy makeup. She gets by on just one pump. It is every cheap so no complaints about it, except sometimes the pump makes a weird sound when you press it.

I really don't understand why Clean & Clear discontinued this. It's an amazing makeup remover that I used even after I wash my face. It didn't strip my skin, but it did the job. Shame on Clean & Clear!

I absolutely love this product! My younger sister bought it from Big Lot's and I've since been looking for it everywhere only to find out that it's been disconintued. I've been using her & have been wanting to steal it from her several times. I am so happy, becuase today when I went to my local Big Lots they had them. I made sure to stock up on it!
Now onto the product, I absolutely love it! This is the best makeup remover I've ever came across! It removes everything, even waterproof mascara! You don't have to scrub or anything just leather it on your face and wash away with water. It removes everything! I absolutely love this product and will repurchase it time & time again. I highly recommend this product!

I actually use to use a cleanser very similar to this except it was in a blue bottle instead of purple. I am almost positive it's the same product...but I am still able to find this product on Amazon.com. I was able to get a 3 pack for about $25. I love this cleanser a lot. It's really too bad it's not avaliable in stores anymore. It takes off my make up (face, eyes, lips, everything) wonderfully, and does not dry or irritate my skin at all. This is the only cleanser that I've been using at night (along with adapalene gel) for awhile now and I think my skin is finally thanking me for it.

I got this in the summer after reading the glowing reviews for this product. I was looking for something that would remove my concealer (MAC Pro Longwear) and eye makeup without requiring a separate step. The reviews for this product were so good that I was sold. Unfortunately, the reality didn't live up to my expectations. For starters, this smells really cheap. The packaging, which is nice in its way, is also part of my "problem" - I just don't like the foam. It doesn't really feel like I'm applying much in the way of a cleanser - it's more like air and bubbles and nothing much else. My face simply doesn't feel clean after using this - not only does it not do a great job of removing my concealer but the rest of my face - where I don't wear much makeup - doesn't feel clean either. I wish you could set the dispenser for "foam" and "liquid" so that I could dispense the liquid cleanser on its own. I might find it more efficacious that way. But a product that smells cheap and doesn't leave my face feeling cleansed is not something I would repurchase or recommend.

Great overall cleanser for acne-prone or oily skin. I use 5-6 pumps, and lather for about 30 seconds - takes *everything off*. Not overly drying; ok for use with my topical treatment (doesn't include things like salicylic acid etc).
2 month update: still good, have repurchased several times.

I usually buy CnC products when I have a acne outbreak, then discard them after my skin gets back to normal. However, the CnC makeup removing/dissolving foaming cleanser is one that I never threw away. I could be mistaken, but I think the old foam is called makeup removing. The new makeup dissolving foam has slight ingredient variation, but same great product. I like both and gave both of them the same rating.
This foaming cleanser is great at removing regular makeup when used with a wet wash cloth. To prevent overdrying my eye area and cheeks, I always use toner and moisturizer after washing with this cleanser. Sometimes when using a cleansing/melting cream or cleansing oil, I would wipe off the cream/oil with a wet cloth, then use this foam as the final cleansing.
Even though I don't usually use this to wash my face when my skin is normal, I found another use for this. I wash my liquid foundation brush daily after each use and sometimes they're a beast to clean. This foaming cleansing does a decent job, and work better than some brush cleaners. I hope Clean n Clear will always have similar products like this available since so many people seem to like it.

Many people are saying this is comparable to the Lancome remover, which I personally have never tried. Although, the packaging does look surprisingly similar to the "Take the Day Off" makeup remover by Clinique. I saw this in the drugstore in a pack with the cleansing wipes, and since I adore the Clinique one, wanted to try it. I loooove it, it's the exact same as the Clinique one at a fraction of the price. It has a slightly oily residue, but it doesn't last long or can be washed away immediately. Highly recommended and is my new HG makeup remover because it's essentially the same product as my old HG at a much lower cost.

i got this product at Big Lots a few days ago. lots of discontinued products end up there, so if you're looking for this, go check it out! i absolutely love this stuff! it makes me feel totally clean and, well, clear. i like the pump, very nice and sanitary. i've been using this every night since i've gotten it, i'll update if it breaks me out or something. so far, everything looks good! i'm definitely going to stock up on this stuff when i go to Big Lots again.
EDIT: i picked up four other bottles. this stuff is still great imo. however it kinda dries me out (this is easily solved with some moisturizer, which i always put on after taking my makeup off anyway lol) and it only takes off about 85% of my makeup, sadly. both of those things are easy to overlook, though. it hasn't broken me out yet either! i'm gonna be really sad when i run out of this stuff.

LOVE this stuff! It get's all of makeup off in one or two pumps! Granted, it can't get off my waterproof mascara, but a little bit of EVOO can do that in a pinch(: Cheap, and amazing. I totally recommend!

I've been using this since it came out. It takes off eye makeup, and everything else - perfect for oily skin!
Not sure why other people can't find it - it's here in Canada still thank goodness!

This product is really good. It helps removed almost all make up without overdrying. Unfortunately, it's discontinued. There was similar product that Clean & Clear discontinued, then this product came out. And once again, they discontinued good products. I'm hoping they have a new product that similar and better than this one coming out soon. In the mean time, if anyone knows a dupe for this. Please let me know. Thanks!

I love this cleanser it doesn't do the best job at removing my makeup, I have to use an eye makeup remover first. But, it's very gentle, cleans my skin well and doesn't sting my eyes or make my skin feel dry or tight afterwards. However, it is no longer in stores. But, I did some searching online and there is an Aveeno product Positively Radiant that is also a makeup removing cleanser, also made by the same company and it has the same exact ingredients. So, if you can find that one it's a dupe.
