This was my favourite shave cream until I tried the Aveeno one. This provides a close shave but not as close as Aveeno and not as moisturizing. I gave it four lippies just because it was an amazing go-to product of mine before I tried Aveeno and it is A LOT better than the Shave Gel that is sold by this brand.

Very moisturizing shave cream also too moisturizing, sometimes it doesn't feel like it's rinsing clean enough for my liking. Also a bit hard to get out of the bottle when the product is past the halfway mark. Otherwise this is a great product, my fav shave cream second only to Kiss My Face. Would repurchase.

i lovee this! its so cute, smells great and glides on smoothly

it prevents from getting razor burn and makes skin so soft after applying it

i recommend for anyone whether you have dry skin or not because its moisterizing meaning your skins getting quenched while you shave off a layer practically

deff a girlie product and will continue to purchase

The best shave cream IN THE WORLD! I have been using this for 2 years, and there is no other shave gel/cream that can compare.
This is so moisturizing, it feels like not only have I have shaved, but it seems as if I have put on lotion too. My legs look so good. I also use this under my arms. No razor bumps, so nicks, just silky skin.
It also smells so good, like vanilla. The bottle is great. So easy and handy to use. You don't need too much. With daily use, this lasts almost a month. And it's pretty cheap.
First I use a sugar scrub (my own-sugar, oilve oil, and coffee) and then I shave my legs with this and the venus embrace. Then I wash up with dove deep moisture body wash, and when I come out of the shower, I put on my lotion (cerave). Nothing compares!
This is such an amazing product! All girls/women should use this! I will use this as long as I shave my legs! :)

I liked this shave cream. It smelled heavenly, moisturized nicely, and always left my legs nice and soft. I love the cream formula. It felt so nice going on. My biggest complain is that it seemed to clog up my razor. I can usually get 4-5 shaves out of a blade. With this, I was needing to change blades every other shave. For this reason alone, I'm on the as to whether I would repurchase or not. Knowing me, I probably will. But razor blades are expensive, and that just might make me think twice about it.

I absolutely love this shaving cream! It prevents razor burn, it prevents razor nicks, and it helps give you a clean shave without irritating your skin or injuring yourself. As far as moisturizing goes, it does that too -- to a certain extent. It softens your skin, but not so much to where you should skip on the lotion or body butter. Regardless, this is one shaving cream that is worth the buy.

I have used just about every brand of shaving cream (including EOS) and this is by far the best! I have sensitive skin and this is the only shaving cream that has never given my razors bumps. Every time I shave my skin is silky and smooth. I would recommend this to everyone.

I have tried all of the shave gels and creams out there. Skintimate is the best. If I ever shave (I prefer waxing and hair removal creams) I use Skintimate dry skin shave cream. The dry skin shave cream is the best out of all the Skintimate shave creams because it is so mositurizing. There is never razor burn when I use this. It's fantastic.

I got a sample of this at my gym with a coupon, my frist shave was great, it works just like coochy =) I'm going to buy a bottle and try it out

For reference, my skin is sensitive, combo/dry on my face, but for the most part dry on my body. I burn easily (even through spf 50), and require heavily moisturizing products constantly in my skincare regimen, even during the humid summer months (I live in the south).


I have been using this shave cream for about 2 months now, after reading the reviews here, and it is flat out fabulous. It is, hands down, the best shave product I have ever used. When I shave with this product, afterward, not only do I have a silky smooth shave, but my skin feels like I have applied lotion to it as well. My legs feel hydrated and soft, not dry and tight, like they do even with shave cream that is supposedly formulated for "dry skin." The scent of this product is DELICIOUS. It smells like vanilla and candy. I absolutely adore the scent. I'm sure some may find it a bit cloying and sweet, but for me, this scent is right up my alley.


The bottle that this comes in is quite handy, and I find it easy to use. I like the fact that the dispenser opening is on the bottom, and it is easy to squeeze out. I squeeze out about a quarter sized amount to shave one leg, and have zero problems with my razor clogging (I use a Venus razor). If you encounter clogs, just give your razor a flick every couple of passes to get the excess product off and keep shaving. No harm, no foul.


The price is not bad at all, around $3.50 USD, and I am finding that one bottle lasts me about 1 month if I shave every other day (I have 2 kids....this is my reality). If you want to get a really super smooth shave, I highly recommend doing a sugar scrub first (I like Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub), then shaving. Your legs will be so smooth and so glossy, even YOU won't be able to stop touching them.


Overall I think this is a great product, and I will definitely repurchase.

I'm very surprised to see all the good reviews on this. This stuff gave me horrible razor burn. It's not a normal shaving cream. It really is like a cream it doesn't foam or anything. I would not repurchase this again. In fact you could say I HATE this stuff. Just.... blech!

I bought this on a whim instead of buying something in an aerosol can. I have to say I'm really impressed and it's my new HG product! Formula is nice and thick, and leaves me legs soft and silky. With traditional shaving creams/gels I would always have to put a heavy lotion on because legs were so dried. Most days with this I can get away with not applying anything afterwards. Love it!

I love this shave cream! The scent Cashmere Rain smells amazing and the smell lasts on my legs afterwards. It's nice and thick, and moisturizing, and inexpensive.

I'm honestly shocked at all the good reviews this product is getting! My sister used it once and gave it to me, saying it was terrible. After seeing the commercials, I was excited to try it! But...it was so hard to get product out of the tube without squeezing it to death, it barely covered my legs, it left them with patches of stubble and they were really dry! The only shave gel I ever used is Skintimate and I love it, so I'm surprised that this product sucked so bad! Don't buy it!

i bought this today bc i really needed to shave and was out of shave gel, and have already fallen in love! right after i shaved, my skin was so soft, so i went outside where it was a little bit colder, and my skin was still silky smooth. definetly will buy again

I think this is a HG product for anyone with dry skin.

I absolutely used to loathe shaving my legs - they would get painfully dry, flaky and itchy. I had tried everything - all manner of shaving gels and creams, soap, body wash, conditioners, etc.

I found this at the store and decided to take the plunge. I usually dry shave and that went a lot better than usual. Today I tried it in the shower and wow. I didn't need ANY lotion afterwards. No itching, no flakes, just soft and smooth skin.

It's the best. Hands down. I think I'll actually be okay with shaving more regularly instead of dreading it.

I highly recommend this product. I always get razor burn no matter what i do, and my legs become covered in red dots (not a good look). I used to use body wash, it worked best but still sucked. I had previously tried foams (many times), hair conditioner, and depilatory. All resulted in irritation.

After trying this, I'm not using anything else ever again! I still get a couple of red bumps here and there, but whatever. My legs feel super smooth, and not dried out all, even if I don't moisturize right away. I like that it's clear, you can see what you're doing in the bikini area. Also it smells pretty nice. As other reviewers said, it does gunk up your razor. But I think it's worth that minor annoyance. I wish I would've tried this at the beginning of the summer, it would've been a godsend during shorts/ skirt weather!

I ADORE this shave cream! I like the dry skin formula better than the formula for sensitive skin because it feels more soothing and nourishing to my skin. And the dry skin formula is still brilliant for sensitive skin, which I have. This has never given me irritation. After I shave with this cream and my Venus razors my skin is always super smooth without any bumps. This is my new must have shave cream, they better not stop making it or change the formula! I'd be really bummed if they did.

I've used many different shave gels and creams over the years and I used just about every formula and scent in the Skintimate line. This is my favorite. For a while, I actually thought I was imagining that this formula left my skin softer than the others. But, after leaving it and coming back, I can say that this particular formula really does work better for me than anything else I've found. Forget all the other cutesy, fun scents -- *this* stuff works!
