I`d buy this again in a heartbeat! What a terrific satin matte neutral beige, with a golden peach undertone. Don`t be put off by the pinkish look in the container. On the skin it becomes a golden peachy beige, very neutral, very polished. I don`t really see any taupe to it at all except maybe that it is a neutral suitable for either warm or cool complexions.
It lasts all day, blends like a dream, feels like butter, and doesn`t crease. Nor does it cause any irritation to my sensitive lids. No over the top shimmer, this is a matte but not a dead kind of chalky matte, it is satiny, with life to it, yet it doesn`t accentuate any wrinkly crepey skin around my aging lids.
Great as a base coat under other shadows or on it`s own for a wash from brow to lashline. Right next to it, on the rack is Linen, which goes really nice with Earthly Taupe. Same satin matte, ignore the pink undertone, it works as a tear duct and brow bone highlighter with this or other shades.

I bought mine in "Earthly Taupe 170S". I've had this for years now. My skin is a little lighter than NC15 but this matches nicely and gives my lids a bit of color. I actually just re-bought this in the new packaging (black now instead of a dark blue). I don't know if they re-formulated it but it doesn't feel like it. It still glides on nicely, isn't powdery or cakey, and lasts all day.

I bought this for a dollar at a discount store since it looked like such a pretty color in the pan. Unfortunately, when I started to swatch it, the shadow was chalky and powdery. The pigmentation isn't great either. I think the color might show if someone had a fair skin tone. I'm have light-medium skin and the color looked like the color of my eyelid.

I prefer matte shades, and this taupe is perfect! I like to apply it lightly with a brush so I get a faint wash of color.

Maybe I got a bad batch but this stuff was terrible. It looked a nice base shade in the pan but it is a nothing colour with zero pigmentation and I am extremely fair, cant imagine what it would be like for anyone medium or darker.

Dont like it that well. The pigmentation isn't that great and Ive tried it in a variety of different ways (primer, base, wet) and I just came to the conclusion that the pigmentation is bad.

This is a great matte color to use as an overall wash to even out skin on eyes and as a base to add on to... It's matte but not all chalky or cakey and has very little if any noticeable fallout when applying,. I use elf's 1 dollar eyeshadow brush to pack on the color. Great quality shadow, very silky and smooth. WIll repurchase again and again.

My absolute favorite nude eyeshadow. I'm quite pale, and this gives me a bit of color when I'm feeling extremely low maintenance or lazy with my makeup. It leaves a gorgeous finish, and I will definitely buy again

I bought this sort of on a whim, it was on clearance at my local kroger. It's pretty much the exact shade as my skin, and since it's matte finish, I think it'll be great for blending out other eyeshadows. As far as wearing it on its own, I don't think that would work. But I had been needing a good blending shade, and this is perfect for that. It does have a lot of fallout, but because of the color that doesn't bother me. Overall I'd recommend it as a blending shade if you have somewhat pale skin like I do.

This is a good blends-in-with-your-skin color. I added a picture because the one photo really wasn't even close. It is slightly less of a rosé undertone than my pic shows, however. Probably for cool skin tones only.

This is a fairly impressive nude, flesh shade. You will definitely need to wear a primer, and a white eye shadow base underneath the shadow or it will not show up. At least it didn't on me. Once I applied the white base, it became this beautiful, flesh, tone shade. This great, matte shade did not show my 48 year old wrinkles, nor did it make my eyes look old ~ if that makes any sense. I added Maybelline, Champagne Fizz as a highlight to my brows, for a complete no makeup "naked" look with mascara and I was quite impressed.
I paid about $2.00 for the eye shadow. I like the color, but the packaging is so hard to open. I do have a few problems with my hands, but I could hardly get this little puppy open. I will probably buy this shade again. I bought this on clearance, so I hope that Maybelline is not discontinuing this shade...

I got this at CVS for 50% off. Im really disappointed, it has hardly any pigmentation in it. It's such a pretty color in the pan too. For reference, I am NC20 (MAC).

This is my go-to-work shade. It's the perfect natural skin colored eye shadow for my skin tone. I have a problem with shadows creasing on me since I have such oily lids, and I also have slight discoloration on my lids. With some UDPP and patting (not sweeping) this shadow on with my EcoTools eye shadow brush, I get full coverage on my slightly dark lids, making me look bright eyed and awake! It lasts all day too, which is wonderful. No frills, but still an essential part of my morning makeup routine.

The perfect taupe! I looove this. I like to use it as a base on my entire lid and then put a bit of maybelline's matte dark brown in the crease with some winged liquid liner on the upper lash line and it looks amazing. It's like a better version of my eyelid. No chalk, the slightest bit of satin finish, no fallout (just tap the brush) and lasts all day. Love.

I was looking for a natural shadow that I could wear every day. I came across this one and it looked like a perfect color. Not too pink/peach, which would make my eyes look washed out and red, and not too brown, which would make them look sunken and gloomy. This is a perfect shade. It's just dark enough that it deepens my eyes and brings them out a little more, without being obvious. The packaging is cute, Maybelline redid it so it's in a small black compact with a tiny applicator sponge. The staying power is good, it lasted all morning and I don't use primer. I'd probably buy this again, maybe not the exact shade but definitely Maybelline shadows in general.

this is absolutely my HG eyeshadow. it is a nude beige color and it has a matte finish. its perfect for just brightening up your eyes & covering any paleness on your lids when you dont want to look too overdone. it really compliments blue eyes, but i have a feeling it will work for any color :) 5/5!

A great matte e/s for a natural polished everyday lid color. Applies silky and smooth plus it blends well with darker crease colors. Lasts a long time and you certainly can't beat the price. I love MAC eyeshadows, but have nothing against terrific d/s products like this gem.

This is the best flesh colored eyeshadow I have tried so far. The color is perfect for my lids. It adds a tad of flesh color so it looks like your naked lid but better. The texture is very silky and the shade is very pigmented and long wearing. The price is right and you can always get Maybelline products on sale as I did with this one. Wonderful product, packaging is nothing extra but I am fine with that.
