I'm happy with this head and shoulders since it didn't dry my hair out like most do. I'm trough my first use but I'll update later.

UPDATE: It is indeed not that drying, I like it... if you use a good conditioner along with it there's actually nothing to lose (I must say my hair is much healthier!).. I'm giving it 5 stars cause it is the best anti-dandruff shampoo I've found.

UPDATE 2: HORRIBLE! I found out this has made all the flakes stick to my scalp! I used another anti dandruff shampoo and it's starting to remove all the chunk! Ew! Head & shoulders is definitely for dry scalps only.. seriously.

I have purchased several bottles of this, I have eczema and seborreic dermatitis and my derm told me that I must use Head and Shoulders, plus I have to leave it on for at least 10 minutes for it to be effective. The 10 minutes is a toughy, so......I purchased the conditioner as well. It took a while but this really works wonders for my scalp, plus it also makes my hair so soft! I wash my hair and leave this on for 5 minutes then I apply conditioner and leave that on for an addition 5 minutes. I prefer this "Refresh" one because it feels cooling. I know, I know......cooling is not necessary. But I have noticed that I am not scratching my scalp anymore. I didn't realize how much I was doing that until I stopped! I will continue to repurchase this as long as they make it. My HG!

Always my HG shampoo in the winter, and started using it year-round now too. Background: I have slight dandruff, but two years ago my scalp got so dry and itchy in the winter that it actually started bleeding and scabbing. I got Head & Shoulders as a last result and it worked WONDERS- not only improved my scalp's condition, but I feel like it has improved the overall health of my hair as well. I don't feel much (if any) of a tingle, but the smell is not offensive, and it works up a good lather. Not a single itch since!

I love the way this shampoo makes my scalp feel, it invigorates your scalp and gives it a tingly feeling, and it smells pretty good too! I like that me and my boyfriend can both use it, it saves money when you like the same shampoo! Most important to me though is that it cleans my hair pretty well!

Good shampoo how ever I couldn't really feel the menthol on my scalp but the menthol kept going into my and my daughters eyes and were irritated for a couple of hours but I do like how the shampoo made my hair feel even was fresh the next day I would give it 3.5 lippies

Worst shampoo! I've used H&S in the past with no problems. I have fine slightly oily hair, and this shampoo leaves serious residue-- it looks like I haven't showered in days and when running my hands through my hair while blowdrying, they come away feeling sticky. Even friends commented on how greasy my hair looked. At first I thought I just wasn't washing it out good enough, but even after thorough washing, the residue is still there. Definitely will NOT be buying again. Just wish I hadn't bought the large bottle of it!

This is one of my HG shampoos. I have a minor dandruff problem, and this is what I go to when I need to take care of it. I'm sure it's fine even if you don't have a dandruff problem too. The formula is great- thick, makes a nice lather, (you definitely don't need a lot of it) and my hair does not feel stripped since it is in a cream form. The smell of this one is just invigorating yet lovely...almost sweet with a zing. There is definitely that "refreshing" aspect of it when using...like wakes you up in the shower, def a hint of mint. Plus it's just good for hair health giving it that clinical aspect which I appreciate. I love this and will be buying it again after I run out!

This is my HG shampoo. I had horrible itchy/dry scalp until I used this product. It has worked wonders! My hair is healthier/shinier than it ever has been and my scalp is no longer itchy! Huge relief! I like the smell of this stuff. It is just clean, no floral or fruit. While the tingle you feel is gimmicky, it feels cool. I use this with Fekkai's Full Volume conditioner and Protein Repair spray. My hair has never been healthier. I tried out the Smooth and Silky formula of this line, and I feel it does the exact same thing as this, without the nice smell and the tingle. So I will definitely be coming back to this after I am done with the Smooth and Silky bottle.
I don't think I will ever go back to regular shampoo again. I can't stand to have the itchy scalp come back. There is really no need to switch anyway, this stuff is a bargain, and works wonders for my hair.
