I've found that if alcohol denat is in the first few ingredients it irritates my skin. This is listed 4th and I had the same results..dry skin and at least one pimple. Not what I'm looking for in a serum. For reference I have dry sensitive skin with no breakouts.

I received a sample of this product with a sephora order. I used it twice once at night and once the morning after. My skin did not like this. clogged my pores and gave me 2 huge zits after the first night. Also irritated my roscea, now they're itchy and more bumpy. Would not recommend or purchase I threw out the rest of the sample.

Aside from the Sulwhasoo TruFresh Soothing Mask. Genefique was the only product that gave me overnight results. Momma and I finished 2 bottles of this (3.4 oz).

I don't know about how valid Lancome's claims are, but it really helped smooth and calm down my skin. Really non-irritating.

At the same time $175 is a lot... :(

No parabens.

It's taken me a while to decide what I think of this serum; ultimately my take away is positive. This serum has a very thin texture, and it sinks right into skin. It's a little odd looking (it's got a milky look to it, though not sticky) and it's a bit odd smelling, though not precisely unpleasant. Most Lancome skin care products are perfumey. This one isn't. It's easy to use. Just fill up the dropper, and squeeze it out, then rub onto your skin. It sinks in fast, and leaves behind absolutely smooth skin. I'm not sure whether I'm seeing any long-term benefits from this. I've been using it a couple of months, and my skin has been looking pretty good. Not sure I can say it's all this serum, or if it's other stuff in my skincare routine. Given that I like how my skin feels immediately after putting this on, I'd likely repurchase it.

I recently received a deluxe sample of this with a Lancome purchase. After running out of my normal serum, I gave this a try. So far, I really like it. I have oily skin and this sinks in quick and leaves a glow, not shine. A little spreads a long way, it is super thin consistency and comes in a dropper. Good for use under my moisturizer at night or alone under make up during the day. The price tag is high, as all Lancome products, but if it continues to please, I'll be purchasing the full size soon.

I got this as a sample & tried Genifique for 3 days. I didn't notice anything, positive or negative, for two days. On day 3 I noticed that my pores looked larger. I promptly threw the rest of my sample in the garbage & returned to my normal routine of using SA's Collagen serum.

I have used three 75ml bottles. I see the result and I am confident with LANCÔME GÉNIFIQUE

Luxurious serum... Great if you have oily skin. Doesn't make me feel greasy but gives good moisture. It is pricey but like all Lancôme products I've tried so far I can trust that it will not break me out.

I love this stuff! It has greatly improved my acne scars, and I notice my acne heals quicker! I am wearing less makeup now too. I first used it twice a day, once I noticed my acne marks had faded, I switched to once a day, AM ONLY since it makes my powder foundation look amazing, and my skin looks great! I did not purchase this- I used the free sample and after a month, I'm not even halfway done. I will definitely repurchase this. YOU ONLY NEED ONE DROP FOR FACE AND NECK. For the record, AM: I splash my face with water, genifique, lancome pure focus moisturizer, PM: lancome creme radiance wash, lancome radiance alcohol toner on problem areas, and aloe vera. Works like a charm for my acne prone, oily and sensitive skin! :)

I got this in a mini bottle as a gift with purchase. I gave it a trial run. It is similar to Estee Lauder's Night Recovery in my opinion in that it has the probiotic Bifida Ferment Lysate in it. I have dry areas on my face and this gave them some decent nourishment. I did not notice any major repairing or gene rejuvenation in the three weeks I used it. It worked as a moisture boost only as I noticed but then there are other products out there that do the same thing for half the the cost. I have a hard time just giving my money away I suppose. If you have a lot of money at your disposal and all you want it a little more moisture then by all means try it. I would go for Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair though as it has some other pretty awesome ingredients in it and costs a little less.
