This is a good moisturizer, doesn't break me out. In fact this whole kose line is very good for asian skin. Keeps my skin fresh and break out free. Price was good, got this for 50% off since BBW was discontinuing this from their stores.

i love this! this is my hg all in one. the only skincare product i am using, no step 1,2,3... just this.
i have slightly oily skin, when i first tried it i felt it was too rich for me.... but then i have stopped using all skincare products due to laziness....
what i do is i just wash my face and apply this, every day, day and night. it gives translucent moisturised dewy skin. this really plumps up your skin, foundations always go on better after this. (powder/liquid)
i think this is good if you dont pile your face with other products, would be too rich then. go easy on it though.
but if you just want to use ONE product daily, this is it. of course, u need a sunblock if you're going out, but i stay home all day.
its not too expensive-there are many other more expensive shit out there... and packaging wise, its just plastic. nothing fancy, but it works.

I love this product. The texture is sticky and rich for my oily skin but I stick to it and it really whiten and brighten my skin tone by a few shades (I am very tanned)! I will definitely purchase this again.

This is one of those products that you REALLY want to love because of the hype and claim. So you fool yourself into believing that its working. And you write some absurd review for it, even though deep down you know the truth. Well, I will face the truth that this just doesn't deliver!! I have some post-acne scars and sun-spots I have tried to rid of. I have applied this nightly in hopes of a brighter, more even-toned complexion. Hello, its Kose sekkisei, probably the most popular whitening range in Asia ever!! But the cream...Even though it has a very watery consistency, it goes on my face quite greasy. My oily face cannot handle it. Maybe drier skin types. Plus, no whitening effect whatsoever!! Ive used it for 2 months, at least. Well, it makes a good neck cream....

this is excellent for moisturising but a tad too heavy for my skin.
i would use this as a night cream as i prefer to use something light in the day.it definitely helps in dehydrated skin, providing excellent moisture.but too bad, kose products are mostly loaded with alcohol so i have stop using this.

okay, i'm just writing this review as a base for an update i will give later...i just bought this stuff yesterday, and i'm hoping it will ad a nice glow to my skin, help soothe my acne, and most of all, fade some uuuuuggggly post-acne marks. it's nice and light (i know from the one time i applied last night), and although it smells a lot like bug spray, it's not enough to put me off. so this morning, my mom saw my skin and said, "wow! your skin looks so much better! it looks so....fresh. and your blemishes are drying up." i'm thinking the blemish thing is due to my DDF sulfur masque, but the rest of it...well, we'll see when i update next!
<3 kADY
UPDATE: i haven't been using it long enough to see real results, so i can't say much for that. the reason i'm quitting? feels too heavy for my oily skin, even at night, and doesn't moisturize the dry spots around my nose...taking my lippies down to 4...

This cream is perfection on my skin (Asian and porcelain fair). I bought it because it's getting near winter and skin starts to dry out, so I bought it to use as a night cream. I use the emulsion for daytime use.
My skin just glows when I wake up in the morning and my skin is the best looking part of me even after a late night at the office.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those with fair skin.
I love that this is an Asian line; I've found some Western/European products to be too creamy/greasy for my skin. Though this night cream is more heavy, it's easily absorbed and feels great!

I'll update and up my lippie rating to a 5 if I see more improvement, but for the time being I'm happy but not bowled over. It has a light, gel-like consistency but is still somehow adequately moisturizing. I most recently used Korres Sugar Crystal Cream, and the Sekkisei is a HUGE improvement. I've only been using this for a week now, but I *think* I might see some slight improvement in texture and clarity. If I'm not won over by the time I finish this up, I think I'll try the Olay Definity line next.
EDIT: I upped my rating to a 5, because after a couple months of use, I really can see a significant difference in clarity and tone. I accidentally forgot to pack this when I went home during winter break and my skin reverted to its old nasty self during my month off. When I restarted the Sekkisei, after a week, my skin is already much improved. I'm a believer and I just put in an order for the toner, too!

I have been using this cream for about two months now and i have noticed a difference in my skin. Previous from using this I had many acne scars that covered my chin and cheek area. Since using this, in conjunction with their lotion, white mask and esthetic mask i have noticed that the discoloration lightened and i have a more even nice glow to my skin. Because this cream is very moisturizing i have been just using it at night. My skin is softer and does not look dehydrated as it did before. I will be using this again and i really want to try thier day essence. For more info go to sekkisei.com or bathandbodyworks.com

I have oily but dehydrated skin that breaks out.
This cream comes in a very pretty dark blue jar. It's quite heavy so I use very little of it. The cream itself is quite concentrated so if I use a lot, it'll leave my face greasy. I usually put small spots of the cream on my face and then massage it in.
It absorbs very quickly.
I've noticed visible whitening results after just a week of usage and usually use it along with the Sekkisei Lotion. I always apply it at night and will only apply it in the day time if I'm not going out. If I'm going out, I'll opt for the day essence.

I haven't tried a product before that made me broke out, but this product did. I guess it was too greasy, after applying it, it didn't absorb into the skin it feels like it just sat on top of my skin, and needless to say it's all over my pillow. As for whitening I didn't notice any.

I cant recommend anything better for someone trying to even out their skin tone. I always get a little discolored dry patch on my right cheek. LITERALLY one use of the product and it's fading away. It keeps my skin moist but not greasy and everything the product says it will do --- it delivers. Well worth the money --- and it's really not that expensive.

When it comes to moisturisation, the Sekkisei cream is superior. I have combi skin and have been using Sekkisei for 4 years. The sekkisei cream keeps my skin well moisturised overnight (especially over winter). I wake up to plump skin that is not greasy. In the long run, my skin also feels more even toned and resilient. I also rely on this product to heal my skin whenever I experiment with new products that sometimes harm my skin. The cream has a greater whitening effect than the emulsion. The emulsion is less greasy and is more suitable for daytime use.
As for the whitening effect, I don't think this product really works as expected. I've tried a cheaper brand, the Kanebo freshel white C which appears to be more whitening than Sekkisei. But Sekkisei is still better for overall skin health.

I actually have the essence cream. Even my dry skin says this is way too thick. just like the day lotion with SPF, the texture is very glue-y and sticky, and mayb clogging pores too. did nothing for even out skintone or pigmentation. the best product out the the sekkisei range is probably the medicated sekkisei itself.

All I can say is WOW! I don't buy high end face care products, because I've read drugstore products do the same thing.
I got a sample of this from Bath & Body works. I've only been using it for 3 days and I noticed my skin was more hydrated and it made my blemishes disappear! All in all my skin looked better. Now I wonder how much this costs, and if I can afford it! Great product!

this is by far the *best* moisturizing cream i have ever laid my grubby little fingers on and no wonder its my HG. it does everything that it promises: brightens dull complexion, lightens pigmentation, rejuvenate skin to look younger, rehydrates and makes skin feels soft and plump, and best of all, and above all, it doesnt lead to break out. whenver i apply this, i wake up the next morning with a well-rested look and skin feels so soft. it takes only 1 week to see results and by 3 weeks, you'll definitely notice a definite improvement in your complexion. this is my life saver from post-acne marks. and now, i recommend it to all my family and friends and so far, there isnt one person who does not love this to bits. i dont think i've every come across anything close to this product and i doubt i ever will.

I use the emulsion for day and this Sekkisei cream for night. It got a really lovely texture and moisturises well. Too much of this can be over moisturising, so I just use a little dab for my combination skin.

Excellent product!!! I use this as a night cream along with Sekkisei lotion. It is the best night cream I ever have!!!. Along with the lotion, it give me a smooth radiant skin when I wake up in the morning. Light weight and non greasy, it has never break me out (I have an acne prone skin).
Nevertheless, since I sleep in the air conditioning room sometime my face get a little dry.Whenever my skin feel a bit tight, I'll apply Payot Hydrofuid Serum after the Sekkisei toner. Then apply my Sekkisei Cream. A++ for Sekkisei products.
