Pros:
- Great for sensitive skin
- Great coverage.
- It's HD
- No need to struggle with the perfect shade, all you need is the compact with one side is lighter than your skin, and the other darker. That's how its designed to work.
- For a cream foundation, it's very lightweight.
- Lasting power is decent.

Cons:
- If you have very dry skin, you have to use a rich moisturizer underneath because it dries very matte.
- It product doesn't really last that long on the pan. depending on your usage, you may have to repurchase more often.

Everyone must keep in mind, these products are designed to be applied using the Eve Pearl Method. It takes a little bit if practice, but the result, when done correctly, is great!

I am nw15 and ordered fair. The lightest color was actually light enough but neutral toned and I do have a slight pink tone so it was not a perfect match. The product is very creamy and blends well. What I like best about this foundation is that it did not irritate my sensitive skin at all which is fantastic because every other foundation I have tried at least makes the skin around my nose itch a tiny bit. This feels extremely lightweight on the skin and has buildable coverage. This would be a very good foundation for me except for two big cons: the price is very high for the small amount of product you get and it accentuated any areas of dryness or uneven texture on my skin. I do exfoliate daily and moisturize well but somehow I still always end up with tiny dry flakes that I cannot see until I put on makeup and unfortunately this foundation showed all of them. Also this is a very dewy finish foundation, it does not feel heavy or oily at all but leaves a moist finish which feels nice on my dry skin but also seems to emphasize all my pores/fine lines. I feel like a slightly more matte finish is kinder to skin texture issues.

I will be returning this product along with the salmon concealer which I had the same issues with (look at the ingredients, it is exactly the same formula in a salmon color and is even more expensive per gram than the foundation).

Initially, I wanted to purchase the Eve Pearl Salmon concealer but based on the tutorial on youtube; I decided to try the combo package for $90. It came with the HD Dual Foundation, Medium Salmon concealer, and HD Dual Powder. I was excited to try the products. When I received my products from UPS, I had high hopes. I used the HD Dual Foundation as instructed, the lighter color at the side above the jawline, eyebrow arch, and the darker color on the cheeks, forehead, and both colors blended on the nose, above the mouth and on the chin. I blended with a wet sponge and this method removed too much product. I have post hyperpigmentation so I needed more coverage. Yet, I continued to use as instructed. I used a foundation brush to layer on the areas that needed more. Most cream foundations are not as creamy as this foundation. It was too creamy and glided all over the place. And the the salmon concealer did not conceal any flaws. I have hyperpigmentation, acne spot, and freakles. I only used this product once and I don't think it's made for my skin type. I purchased the whole set with high hopes and the salmon concealer did not help. I will not repurchase this product. I think it may work better for skins that are more flawless or oily. Very disappointed and this product is overrated and expensive.

I use this more as a concealer than a foundation and it is really great...smooth with great coverage. Doesnt feel heavy. It is a waterless product so it lasts way longer than other products its size so dont let the price scare you away. It will probably last at least twice as long as other products with water in it. Love it!

"Would you buy this product again?"...maybe.

I purchased this in the Light when EP had a promotion thing on Haute Look. I like the packaging and that it's two shades (for sculpting), but like the Salmon concealer, it's still too expensive for what it is. There are other products (like Senna's Slipcover) where you can use the same method (the reverse contouring) that aren't as expensive and produce better results.

The makeup actually doesn't look like anything on my skin in the Light. I've used the wet sponge method (and every time I do this, I take all the makeup, moisturizer, serum and primer off my face leaving my "normal" skin parched), I've tried the dry sponge method (not a good look), and then I've just tried my fingers, and weird as it may seem, that blends it the best.

The problem may be that I ordered the Light and I should've ordered the Fair. My neck is very Fair even though my face has color (like most people's). One thing, it hasn't made me itch or broken me out. I feel for those who had that happen. It happened to me with another foundation.

So...if I ever get the chance to get this foundation for less again in the Fair, I may just try it. You can get it on Shop NBC now, but they don't offer the Fair. Eve Pearl says that the Light would work for Nicole K. I don't think so, Eve.

I really had high hopes for this because I do love eve pearl's salmon concealer. But, I found this foundation too heavy for my liking. I really don't think I can use this as an everyday foundation because I always look like I have thick, heavy makeup on. For special occasions, maybe yes. I have tried using her reverse contour method, but it really didn't work out for me. The darker shade is way too dark(maybe 3-4 shades darker) for my skin. So the only color I can use is the lighter shade. I don't think I would repurchase this for the price. It's way too expensive for a foundation that doesn't deliver extremely well. (For reference, I'm NC42 and I use their tan color.)

At first I wasn't sure about this at all, but I stuck with it and it's really grown on me. I apply with a regular foundation brush and thin it out with a damp beauty pod sponge. I'm an NC15 in MAC and the fair shade is perfect for me, the way it blends into the skin is awesome. It definitely needs to be set with a powder for it to stay on the skin, and I took 1 lippie off because it doesn't seem to last all day.
I have extremely sensitive, reactive skin and have not had any problems using it. Also most foundations oxidise to a horrible orange on my skin, but this one does not.

I have this in medium. I really like the fact that you get the two shades, so you can sculpt your face. I don't think it's for every day use, and it takes a while to remove from my skin, but it makes my skin look flawless and beautiful when I wear it, and is perfect for the occasions when I want to look flawless. I have dry skin, and it is really lovely on my skin. It never feels cakey.

as much as i love this foundation, which i do, i would not repurchase this product. only because i do not much coverage for my skin. this is a great product for people that need a nice foundation with great coverage. it might be since i have not used this product in a while, and by that i mean, a LONG time so i found the foundation to oxidize on me a little. but thats fine by me since it gives me a nice bronzy glow rather than orange. but this product is worth every penny for someone that needs full coverage, sadly i did not.

I really liked the Eve Pearl Tan Duo Foundation, it was light and just the right amount of coverage. I paired it up with the Salmon Concealer i absolutely love it! I am a bit on the lighter side so the TAN B loose powder didn't work for me, it really made my skin appear very chalky huge disappointment. I haven't wore the pressed powder as of yet. It's summer here and to much makeup isn't cute or sexy especially mixed with Sun, Humidity, and more Sun not cute at all! I can't wait to try her "Liquid Foundation" looks pretty amazing from the recent photos i saw! I am totally hooked on the creamed foundation and Salmon Concealer it can't get any better and i look and have been told i look flawless definitely a PLUS in my book!

I do not apply the foundation using her method because i don't want to wear a lot of makeup, i just do enough to even out my skin tones and it works wonderful! Hopefully my photo will upload and you can see the amazing results :)

It took a little while to like this foundation. I bought it from Hautelook when it was a very reasonable price (more than half off..Hautelook has raised the prices since). In the beginning, I didn't use the Eve Pearl method and it didn't turn out well -- felt really heavy on me and way too greasy. After using the Eve Pearl method (and using this with the Eve Pearl primer), I loved the finish and the coverage. It did not feel really heavy or greasy, but my T-zone looked super shiny after about 2-3 hours of wear. Finally, I used this with the L'oreal studio secrets primer and the combination was amazing...and no oil slick afterwards. (I set with mac studio fix powder -- still using the Eve Pearl method though.) I get compliments EVERY time I use this. This foundation also works really well with the salmon concealer -- together they cover dark circles well and I have really bad ones.

The problem with this foundation is that it dries out. I bought it a year ago (I only use it for special occassions), and it has dried out. The texture has changed from creamy to relatively chalky. I try to spray my foundation brush with water before using it, and it helps a little bit, but not much. It definitely doesn't provide the same finish or coverage as it used to. I did NOT get compliments the last time I wore it, and when I got home, it didn't look the best :-/ My colorstay would have looked better. Also, it tends to oxidize a lot now.

I would only repurchase if I got the same kind of deal, or if I just have way too much cash (not likely). Maybe I would buy it for a really special event and do my own makeup rather than paying someone. I would still have makeup left over afterwards!

Just a note, this foundation rubs off easily so beware of hugging people with white shirts!

I came across Eve Pearl while watching makeup videos on youtube. I was dying to try it out and finally went down to the EP store. The young lady that was there that day suggested I was a tan. I normally use Lancome (Teint Idole Ultra - bisque 6). She tried it on and it looked great. However, after a few hours my face looked a bit red. I've been trying the foundation on and off (giving it more chances) and although it does cover the flawless after a few hours my face feels too creamy and the coverage turns darker. I even set it with her loose powder. I've watched her videos to the point of death so I know that I'm applying it correctly. Also, this foundation cost a lot of $ and I hit bottom (lightest color) fast! Which brings me to add that she should have the option of having just one color as she does with her salmon concealer. Would I buy again......no.. It's just too expensive for the amount you get and some products just doesn't work for anyone. I'll stick with my Lancome.

I purchased the Eve Pearl Fair foundation duo. The lightest shade in the pallette was a dead on match for my skintone and the coverage is pretty unbelievable. The packaging is very sturdy and I love that the foundation is covered (so it never gets on the mirror) and the sponge is stored in a seperate compartment to prevent bacterial growth inside your compact. The finish really mimics real skin when applied with the "Eve Pearl Method"; and you don't have to use it as a full coverage product if you don't want to. It can be applied sheer to full.
However, while using this foundation I had one of the worst breakouts I have had in years. As a testiment to how incredible the coverage is, I can say that it covered every single blemish it caused, but my skin was never going to recover if I continued to use it.
I have combination skin and was using it in the winter when my face gets quite dry. It did not emphasize lines and helped to calm flakiness, but it got very greasy looking on my face by midday (though my skin felt tight) and would just rub right off onto anything that touched my face.
I think the product is perfect for professionals to use in photos or for brides/special occasions because it will make the skin look both natural and flawless (my pores and blemishes were totally invisible with this foundation on), but I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use as it does not seem to have much if any staying power beyond the 1st 4-5 hours of wear.

I love this foundation! I have very dry skin and a lot of foundations I have tried just emphasize the dryness and make my skin look patchy. This one glides on and makes my skin look flawless. It does not feel heavy on my skin at all. I also love that it is very buildable. I can apply a little for sheer coverage or I can build it up for heavier coverage without it looking cakey. I have a light to medium skin tone and I got the color light and it is perfect for me. I like that there are two shades in the compact because I can mix in more of the darker shade when I am tanner and less during the winter. I have also tried her reverse countouring method and I really like the results. However, if I am in a rush I just mix the two shades and put it on and the foundation still looks great. I originally bought this half of during a hautelook sale, but I love it so much I would be willing to pay full price for it.

I am really enjoying this product, I can do two things at once which is concealing and also contouring. I love how it comes with a light and dark shade. It covers well and does look more natural than my Nars Sheer matte foundation. At first I really didn't like it because i thought it was too much effort. But after I mastered the application, it only takes a few minutes to have a flawless face. This foundation really gives you a nice healthy glow.

I haven't tried it over big zits yet (haven't been getting any- YAY!!) but it does cover my acne scars and redness well.

i really wanted to like this product. after trying it for a month, i can truly say it's breaking my skin out. i've acne-prone skin and with the humid weather in singapore, this foundation slides and cakes up. im using the EP dual foundation, loose powder and photo compact powder. got them shipped over from US at bought them during black friday sale.
i've tried these foundations on ladies above 40 and the result is amazing! teenagers and young adults are not suited for this product. beware.

btw, im planning on selling a BRAND NEW EP dual foundation in MEDIUM. im based in singapore. anyone interested? i'll probably sell at SGD$35 or so.... so it's a gd deal for matured ladies who'd like to try...email me at charissayvette@gmail.com :)

Edit and rehash, Time to write a new updated review on this sucker.

It's fairly good once you get used to it and a damp sponge is imo required but you can do without it if you know your brushblending.
I use this sometimes on my self but usually I go for something else, but I change between 10 or so.. :D It has amazing coverage and still looks like skin if you know what you do, nothing for people expecting to do foundation in 30 seconds.
I also use this professionally in a photostudio and it works great on most people. Definitely try it out, especially during sale's!

I would not repurchase due to price and better alternatives for me.

Other than the price, this is an excellent cream foundation. It is very emollient and provides buildable coverage. I like cream foundations but I think that most of them have a learning curve. I think that this one is pretty straightforward to use. Just remember to use a damp sponge and build it in layers to get the level of coverage that you want.

Horrendous. I am a NC50 and thankfully I was lucky enough to be able to get the 3-in-1 foundation. I have mixed and matched in a bunch of different ratios and besides the fact that these give good coverage and blendability, it's awful! I think the 'oxidizing' theory is just so you're not disappointed when the colors don't match well. I've given it a chance and checked my face 1-2 hours later to see if it "matches becuase it's oxidized" and all I get is ashy looking skin and a GREASY face. Yuck. All hype this Eve Pearl, imo. There is SO much better stuff out there, even in the drugstore.

I love this foundation. I use it in my kit so I have every color. There aren't that many colors but what is great about it is that the foundation oxidizes to your skin. I have used the same foundation color on people with different skin tones yet the foundation matched them all. The coverage is great too. It blends so easily. This is a dewy foundation, so if you are looking for matte foundation, either powder afterwards or look elsewhere.
