This is a sensational fragrance - love at first sniff, that blossomed into love as the dry-down warmed with my skin when I tested it in Selfridges. Initially I got a lovely almond cloud, soft and powdery and akin to Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab's Dana O'Shee. However, as time progressed, it warped into something rich with jammy rhubarb, bright grass, fresh anise and sherbert sweets. Not at all usual.

This is such a lively scent. It reminds me of childhood. It's sweet without being cloying, spicy and fresh/green all at the same time. I like that it's all natural without the typical essential oil scent. Staying
power is a problem though. This should be offered as a perfume or eau de perfume please!!

Ladies, I have to disagree with you, this perfume is absolutely lovely. So delicate, feminine, truly a fragrance to savor in through your nostrils. True, it requires an extra squirt or two, but really, who wants their perfume to enter a room first? Not I. This is 100% natural, so naturally, the notes are highly sensitive, volatile and will evaporate quicker then the artificial additives and notes in high-end retail brands. I personally want to smell natural and effortless and this is what Sexy Angelic offers. If you ever ate a Calisson candy from France, this is as close as you can get to the confection. I detect, a soft licorice, a powdery melon and marzipan. It's very pretty and so fresh. I enjoy wearing this to brighten my mood. The irony here is I discovered on the Honores webpage, one of the notes listed in the perfume is a "snip" of hemlock, which is poisonous and can be fatal. I doubt there's enough in here or if any of this is actually in the perfume, but it sure raises some eyebrows. The perfume has an element of danger in it, slightly naughty, sweet, innocent and malice all rolled up into one, but never overbearing.

Fabulous ! My favorite perfume, I love the brand, except the Carottes smell but tried lots of them at Selfridges this Summer and buy Sexy Angelic at that time in a Glass Jarr, so nice & original. I found the bigger size now.
Price is correct when we know it is a Giacobetti.. more expensive usually :) I used to love Iunx too but now, only have natural and organic perfume. Before I discovered Honoré des Prés, it wasn't a pleasure to use my natural perfume, too simple.. now, it's perfect. I don't support any smell of chemicals perfume, they made me sick, that's horrible.

I love the smell of almond and Iris, it's not too strong and remembers me sweet memories of my Childhood... My Daughter love it too...

I live between Paris & London, it is my perfume for London, I use Vamp à NY in Paris !
Not try the Coconut yet, maybe next summer ?

Oh boy! I think I have found my new fitness craze and that is sniffing Sexy Angelic. I tell ya, I can feel my ab muscles working!! This is more like Eau Fraiche not Eau de Toilette. Unlike most people, this has a good lasting power on me, about 24 hours. The problem however is that you have to struggle to sniff it even right out the bottle.

It smells like a fancy plastic doll. No kidding! It is actually quite lovely and I would have bought this in a heartbeat for an everyday wear but like I said, you will be burning calories trying to sniff this baby on your skin and even from the bottle lol! It starts off with bitter almond and liquorice then melds into what I will call a perfumer's rendition of fancy plastic doll scent. No sugar in sight. I love it... until the dry down- sugar feast with some vanilla. The almond rushes out the building before the party is over. When the almond is present, this is such a lovely lovely scent! I can't get it out of my head. I am on the hunt for something similar that I can smell while sitting upright or standing up straight with my hands to my sides:).

Too bad the perfume molecules are either unadventurous or just terribly afraid of air space so they desperately cling to your skin and with such fragility at that! On the plus side, if you are one of those who dislike perfumes but want your skin to smell lovely, you might want to give this a try but you and your significant other will only smell it if you have your noses on your skin. I dislike silage but I want to be able to smell my own perfume without trying lol! This is also good for perfume free zones and also if some of your loved ones are sensitive to perfume. They just might love this if their noses end up on your skin.

I got a sample of this. And it does smell very pretty almondy and sweet without being overly sweet. I feel like I am getting a little something citrus-y from it. But it faded on my skin in about 2 minutes. No exaggeration. Too bad because while it lasted, the smell was very pretty.

If anyone finds something similar that lasts, please PM me!

I have two beefs with Honore des Pres' "Sexy Angelic" which are as follows:

a) The ridiculous, pseudo-Victoria's Secret type name made me suspicious even prior to sniffing. But, I love a good deal of Olivia Giacobetti's work (IUNX, L'Artisan Parfumeurs) so I was willing to overlook that and try a sample.....

However.

b) Um - Miss Sexy Angelic has NO SMELL. None. Nada. I might have just as well applied tap water to my skin for all the smell it emitted. I had flashbacks to Les Nez L'Antimatiere which had no smell either ....

Things like this really bug me. If a perfume line is going to charge $145/100ml, the customer at least deserves something that has an odor. BOOOOOOO!!!!! I cannot stress enough that you must get a sample before buying.

Here are the alleged notes, per LuckyScent:Fresh almond, hemlock flowers, angelica seeds and freshly baked calisson accord.

Sadly, this is so weak that you just cannot appreciate it. I'm a huge fan of natural, organic perfumes & was so excited to see a new French line (and with 4 of the 5 perfumes formulated by none other than Olivia Giacobetti). However, I was surprised to hear that these would be EDT concentrations-it just doesn't work with Sexy Angelic, Nu Green or Honore's Trip (the only one not by O.G.). They're all nice but so extremely weak that I could never imagine buying a bottle (and I'm someone who is familiar w/natural scents and used to their typical lack of longevity and sillage). However, that being said, there are 2 others that are the stars of the line imho-Bonte's Bloom & Chaman's Party. Both have much more presence & are definitely worth sampling. Would love to see Sexy Angelic in an EDP strength. BTW, it smells to me of almond and anise & a little ambrette. Luckyscent & Beautyhabit are carrying the line.

Got a sample from perfumed Court, it is described as:
Sexy Angelic is described as "a cuddle of almond rubbed on the washed skin of a young girl in tears", with conium flower, angelica seed and calisson." A skin scent gourmand.

Gourmand??? I don't agree. Skin scent??? Yep! so much so I gave myself a headache trying to sniff it off my wrist, it had barely any sillage whatsoever!

I wasn't impressed by this at all, way too weak. I couldn't smell it at all unless my nose was on my wrist. Somehow I do think the name totally matches the description and smell of the juice. I can't really smell vanilla at all. I love vanilla but this smelt like a flower spritzed with lemon. Very very soft, not a bad perfume, but I certainly wouldn't buy a bottle. This would be perfect for someone who doesnt really want to smell like perfume.
