Got this product by chance as i've heard about the amazing review of EL double wear but some claims it's quite heavy so i wanted to give this a try.

I'm using Intensity 2.0 which is suitable for my NC25 skin and the coverage is medium-full which i'm amazed of! I've got oily skin so not much foundations had made me a believer, even Chanel Mat Lumiere Extreme Powder Foundation is only a more than average product for me, i see shine on my nose within 4-5hrs using Chanel. I used this before topping up with Chanel powder to set it matte as this gives a dewy look.

I wore this everyday and there's no breakouts, in fact there's improvement in my skin! It could last a good 12hr++ and my skin felt so velvet smooth~ I'm not exaggerating! :) The reason why i rated 4 is because i don't like the dewy look & it's quite pricey. I would love to give double wear/dw light a try to compare in future!

I must admit i was quite shocked when reading all the reviews on here, but everyone has different skin types and expectations of a foundation.

I absolutely LOVE this product!!! It is perfect for those who don't really 'need' to wear a foundation but want more than a tinted moisturizer.

It's not for people with uneven skin tone or spots etc but for a light even colour for those with clear skin wanting some protection from the streets of London air +spf it's EXCELLENT!

doesn't look like you're wearing any make up (according to men) but gives a natural radiance with a brighter colour to your face and added slight dewiness

Looks natural, youthful and best part is actually good for your skin! If you have the skin using a heavier foundation could spoil your skin, is an unnecessary cost and in the long term won't benefit the appearance either.

This foundation is great for those attracted to the European 'preserve' Beauty approach as apposed to a cover up, enhance, superficial one.

I use this makeup in all seasons and have 2 different shades, sometimes in winter a still light foundation but with a matte finish in a lighter shade is nice (making skin feel powdery soft as apposed to this foundation which has a moisturized soft finish and look)

perfect for summer and young-older skin
would reccomend
10+

This foundation didnīt dry my skin out, whhich one would expect with such a name. It evens out the skintone a bit, but the coverage isnīt enough for me. Also, it comes off quite easily and the little coverage it does provide disappears after only 2 hours or so. Not the right product for me.

We are always on the quest for the HG, even when you are pretty much sure you have found it, there is always something lurking around the corner that might be even better. I am starting to realize that if it's not broken, don't try to fix it.

My thoughts about this foundation are pretty much in line with anyone who said that this is designed for those of you blessed with perfect porcelain skin. I have been having wonderful results with Shiseido's Perfect Refining Foundation, but sometimes I just want something more natural and quick. My skin is not horrible, but this foundation made me look like my head was made out of paper mache. That's all I am gonna say. I could go on about dry skin, oily skin, but it won't matter because I had no desire to test out longevity whilst looking like a 3rd grade art project.

You can always ask for a 10 day dram of foundations at Estee Lauder, so try it because you take the plunge.

Purchased this at the end of the summer because my Double Wear was gettng too heavy.

There is nothing positive to say about this foundation.

I was matched the lightest shade, but it appeared to darken dramatically after wearing only an hour or two. Also started off looking cool but warmed up on my skin making my face appear pink.

The coverage was minimal.

If you are looking for light to medium coverage, I recommend the Double Wear Light. The color stays true. Double Wear is always good, but definitely more coverage.

I like this foundation. It looks natural and feels non-greasy. It does make my skin look more dewy though, but it feels nice nontheless. I don't know about the mineral properties but it is a good natural finish foundation.

I've been looking for a good makeup to wear for normal, everyday use. I usually wear Laura Mercier oil free foundation but it's a little heavy to wear everyday. I got a sample of this from Macy's and love it! It glides on well and looks natural while still covering imperfections. I have oily t-zone as well and do not get shiny throughout the day. I am not sure it would work well for my skin in the summer but works well during the colder seasons.

I think that this would be more suited for a normal to dry type skin. If you are oily, it will slide off and/or make your skin more oily. I don't get the whole mineral makeup concept, I think it's a scam. A product could have one mineral and then the company claims it is "mineral" makeup. I think it's just a fad. The foundation didn't feel smooth when I tried it on my face.

I completely agree with the previous reviewer - this foundation CLAGS in other words, it does not produce a nice even smooth finish on your skin.

Light coverage, not long lasting, not control oil zone, I think this will be good for dry skin.

I have VERY mixed feelings about this foundation, so I will try to be as objective as possible in this reviews. This foundation has some great aspects to it, and some very bad one. First off, the color range in the line is decent. I puchased intensity 2. In the package it looks like a light to medium golden peachy shade. However, i think the undertone of this shade is more neutral than warm. My skintone is neutral to cool and I was quite surprised by the fact that it blended so well. The warmth that is has in to does help to couterbalance any redness as well. The coverage is medium and the foundation feel light on and very natural.
The less postive aspects of this foundation are several. The worst part of this foundation is the grease factor. it is the oiliest foundation that I have ever tried. My skin is combination and even when I apply this foundation after cleansing my skin, my face looks like I dumped a bucket of oil on my skin. It takes a long time to set, and even then it still shiny. If you have anything less than VERY dry skin, you will need to use a setting powder over top of this. (Rimmel's Stay Matte Pressed powder in 001 Transparent is good over this foundation and helps to control the skin and doesn't change the colour). Also, another point about this foundation that needs to be mentioned is that helps to magnify the texture of the skin in a non-desirable way. To be specific, unless you have porelain smooth skin, this is likely to maginify your pores, or any other uneveness you may have in the texture of your skin, and more so as the foundation gets oily by midday. Once set with pressed powder, it looks fine, but by the end of the day as you need to re-apply more powder to control the shine, it ends up looking very heavy, cakey and mask-like. Overall, I really wanted to like this faoundation. The colour is wonderful, but that seems to be this foudatations only redeeming feature.

I received a sample of this product and was quite surprised by the quality of it. I have tried Double Wear before and found the colour range terribly orange (even in the lightest shade) so I didn't have a great opinion of Estee Lauder foundations to start off with. I tried Intensity 2.0 and found it a decent match for my skin. I wore it all day and, surprisingly this foundation does not oxidize at all which is wonderful! I did find that it took a long time to dry (it kind of felt like a heavy moisturiser of some kind) and felt a bit sticky on my face for the first hour or so. It is definitely not for people with oily skin as it is very dewy. The lasting power was average to above average, it definitely needs to be set with some powder around the t-zones, though. The coverage is sheer-medium, but definitely buildable. I will consider purchasing this for the summer when I want something a bit lighter than Colorstay for everyday wear.

This is the best foundation for me as far as color-match, texture, and mattifying qualities. I set it with powder once, and I'm good for the day. Won't turn shiny, has staying power, it's mineral AND has SPF!

Have to take off one lippie for the low SPF rating, but otherwise, this has turned out to be ideal for me. Intensity 1.0 is the best match for my skin in any foundation I've tried in years and the finish is very natural, though this provides a bit more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. I have combination skin and this lasts all day over SPF moisturizer.

after ma dior purelight was discontinued... i have been wastin ma money on every foundation i can lay ma eyes on...during the process i landed up purchasing this product. according to estee lauder ,this product is meant for dry skin, its a light foundation which gives u dewy complexion and in reality when i tried it i realized i gives u a very heavy made up look which i dislike , since ma skin quality is good i dont need heavy coverage and i like it when ma skin can breathe through ma foundation. SA at the counter also told me
its more than a foundation ,apparently ur skin benefits from the its multi vitamins and blah blah ....which according to me is pure cock and bull stories .only good thing about this foundation is that there is no alcohol in it....but i dont know if alcohol is is that bad for ur skin:/

This is a very pretty foundation, I received some samples a few month ago, just had time to try it. Blends very well, again another Estte Lauder foundation with perfect yellow tone. Felt very light on my skin, made my skin look healthier, had a pretty dewy look in the right spots of my face, was not to matte looking, this foundation needs to be set, and I use a finishing powder by mac and mac fix +. I will buy this eventually because I do not own a mineral foundation and this is a charmer. I currently use 2 foundations by Esste lauder this will be the 3rd foudation I would own, only because it's a mineral foundation.. awesome product but this one will keep it's place.... 3rd, double wear light got this one beat. I paired this up with Mac Golden Lariat and it was too cute, with modesty lipstick, whirl liner and datenight gloss. I love EL

I was highly recommended this by the SA at my local Estee Lauder counter. To be honest it was okay. I got it in Intensity 1.0 and I think it was slightly too yellow but not too far from my skin colour. The tube lasted a few months, I'd say about half a year? There's obviously more inside but it's really hard to squeeze out!

I associate its smell with foundation, probably because I wore it so many time but it smells STRONG and actually bothered me when I started using it. The smell lingers on your skin and becomes pretty heavy.

I found it emphasized the flakes on my nose and forehead (which are not noticeable without foundation) and did not have such a great coverage. Lasting power was fine but it did turn cakey in some places.

It's an okay foundation but I've found better and I will not be repurchasing.

This make up has a good coverage, but a light feeling on the skin, I didn't have the feeling of wearing makeup and it is easily to blend although it has a creamy consistence, which I really liked. It lasting power is okay, but there are better ones!
After the application I have to aplly powder over it because it makes my skin having a very shiny glow, which i don't like.
What I don't like is that the shades of this foundation doesn't really matches my asian skin tone perfectly. I'm using intensity 2.0 and I can only wear it in summertime or mixed with another lighter foundation. If there are more tones of this foundation, which matches better with my skintone, I would definitly buy this product again!

Well, i really wanted to like this foundation. I thought it had great coverage, made my face look even and smooth, but my face reacted to it, i know have pimples. I think its the SPF 10 that this foundation has, otherwise i think it's great. It didn't work out for me will return and continue looking for another one.
