I LOVE THIS POWDER. I always use it after applying my bb cream and it gives me a soft, pressed and matte look. I'm not sure how much it costs, as it was given to me as a gift. The powder provides fairly good coverage. If you want a natural look, don't even apply bb cream/foundation, using 1-2 layers of this powder is all that you need! (If you have fairly clear skin) The packaging has a mirror and sponge however I personally don't like using the sponge as bacteria can build up there, so instead I use my own separate powder brush :)

My feelings for this product are iffy. I do like the smoothness of the powder, it looks great when you put it on first. But after a while it looks cakey, dosen't exactly stay as long as it says it does. I have combination skin, I get oily on my nose. The oil and the powder mixed looked disgusting. The packaging isen't the best. The lid had come off in the first month I had it. It looked like a big oil cakey mess. Probably won't purchase again

Worst powder for controlling oiliness... But it has awesome coverage and is insanely smooth... doesn't last longer than other powder I've used either... Packaging sucks the red thing came off completely and the lid broke... so yeah I will not repurchase...

This is a very silky feeling pressed powder the likes of which I'm not used to getting in a drugstore/Walmart. I especially did not expect it to have this silky feel AND look on the skin from L'Oreal's "Infallible" line as it is their long wearing, transfer resistant range of products. I've said here many times that I'm not the biggest fan of transfer resistant products as they tend to take on the texture of whatever they are applied over: Dry, flakey skin tends to look moreso when a trnsfer resistant base is used atop. Acne/pitted skin tends to look moreso with a transfer resistant base on top. Regular foundations tend to refine these skin types more than the transfer resistant type though I understand their place. It's a godsend for oil ladden skin or just regular skin for that matter in South Florida in August with 95 degrees of heat and 99% humidity. When they are applied to descent skin the skin becomes good looking skin. Good skin looks like a very refined, haelthy even toned great skin and great skin looks AMAZING. Back to this pressed powder as it is AMAZING. The finish is gorgeous and has coverage when applied dry with a brush or the included (washable) sponge. Its definitely buildable, but then comes the real magic as you can dampen/wet the sponge and apply this pressed powder and get almost foundation like coverage from it. It stays on forever (claiming 16 hours.) The color range is fine. This stuff is a multi tasker if ever there was one. This pressed powder is brand new and it roccks. Highly Recommended!!!

This is my favourite mid price pressed powder, and may even be my favourite all round powder...no matter what the price. It is silky smooth and soft, with a velvety texture, and goes on perfectly. Sets and holds foundation with a nice Demi-Matt finish, that still has a nice glow and is not too matt or heavy. I will repurchase again and again.....it is the best! Also brilliant for touch ups during the day,and it has a nice coverage that can be also put on with a wet sponge to achieve a heavier application. a brilliant product for a powder lover like me!

I have been using this powder (Infallible) for a daily basis in the morning after an oil-free moisturizer and its a great deal. a great product I hope it won't be discontinued. it is so great that works better in face that Dior, Chanel and other expensive compacts in the market that only sell the brand logo on the top.

the package : 0% (it needs to be changed for a fancy one)

I bought this at Walgreens recently. I first tried it with a fluffy brush as a finishing powder. I used it for touchups during the day. I was not wowed. i did try it after my liquid foundation with one of my Sigmax brushes. I buffed it into the skin. Applying it this way did provide a nice, rather matte finish. It did make my normal skin feel rather dry. So I make it a point to moisturize before. I am using it occasionally but will not repurchase.

My mom got this product at Target on sale. She loved it so much! Recently I found it on sale at my local drugstore, and I told my mom, she bought another one. Since she loved it so much, I decided to try it out as well. I liked it! I have asian skin, and i'm like a medium tone? Not too dark, not too pale. The powder is a bit creamy and not very flakey. It feels really smooth and light on my skin. It last long and doesn't break me out. It also has a mirror, and a sponge at the bottom so it's nice to put it in a bag or something. One thing I don't like about the packaging is that its plastic could break easily. My mom's broke, so the lid just pops out and the powder could go anywhere. I wish the packaging was little bit nicer, but overall I liked the product! I have tried better powders so I probably wouldn't repurchase it.

Matches my summer skin to a T (not lighter or darker)! I got mine in Nude Beige (660). Winter skin it's a few shades too dark. I used this dry but will attempt to use it wet. I do use this alone without liquid foundation (just a tiny bit of concealer underneath). It gives me the medium coverage that I just love (covers redness, where I put concealer -without being obvious that there's concealer under a powder). At first this is slightly powdery but then it settles (don't let that scare you away!) I get oily and sweaty through out the day on my face so my face gets a bit shiny no matter what I use as a foundation. So I have to touch up my face either way mid-day. I used this in the morning (8am) and then at lunch (1pm) to freshen up. Other than that it pretty much lasts. I even used this over my sweaty upper lip and it didn't cake like other powders do over sweat! I think that's a nice little bonus for this. I don't mind the packaging as I'm used to the weird way that this is made but others might have issues with it.

this stuff is AWESOME! I actually didn't go out and buy this for myself - it was given to me by someone who didn't like it. I have a huge stash of make-up: powders, concealers, foundations, you name it. I just threw this into the collection. one hot summer day I was looking for a darker shade and this was one of the darkest colored powders I had. I slapped it on and stared at myself in the mirror. I looked adorable! my skin is oily so yes, I had to touch up a lot, but when I first apply it I look so matte and beautiful. it makes my skin look great. it only caked once, at a concert I recently went to, but that's because I was sweating a lot. it has a really nice color and blends well with my skin. love it, and it pretty much is infallible! I'll buy again when I run out of this. I also have the infallible concealer (too sticky!) and the foundation (which won't come out of the bottle, sigh)

I bought this powder as I ran out of my more HE pressed powders. A coworker of mine uses this religiously as her main powder/foundation and swears by it. My favorite things about this powder is the color is perfect for me. They definitely don't stock many color options in my local WalMart, but I use Sun Beige and it's nice. My 2nd favorite thing about this powder is the lovely matte/creamy finish it leaves on the skin and while you apply it. It's not chalky or grainy at all. Very beautiful. I also love that L'Oreal included a mirror and ventilated sponge applicator... perfect for on-the-go touch ups. It also seems to be lasting a long time... as in, a lot of product in the pan. Where this powder seems to falter for me is the lasting power. It claims to be 16 hour wear and 'infallible.' Well... as much as i love the color... if i apply too heavy/fuller coverage, it definitely oxidizes orange on me. It was not fun having my boyfriend have to blend my line of demarcation on my jawline one day in the car. Yuck ha. Also, though when you first apply it, the finish is matte and absorbs oils... i find that those effects don't last long. I will become shiny/oil within an hour and with the combined oxidizing, it doesn't look pretty.

Maybe I just need to go a shade lighter... not sure if i'd repurchase, but i can definitely see this being a great powder for someone with normal skin who may just be starting out with makeup or doesn't like fuller, every day coverage.

I so wanted to love this and have it replace my standby powder foundation 1) because it has SPF, which is great 2) because it is cheaper than my standard foundation and 3) because the texture while putting it on is phenomenal. But sadly, it didn't work out for me.

The good:
I like the way it goes on - very smooth and fairly even.
Full coverage.
SPF 20!
Good quality sponge applicator.
Reasonable price - especially if you hit a sale at Ulta.

The bad:
Never found a color that quite matched me. The lightest (nude beige) was still a big too orange.
It wasn't as "infallible" or long lasting as advertised. It really only looked smooth for about two hours, and then required lots of touch ups, which...
Lead to it looking cakey. It doesn't build well. Especially over liquid concealer. It is very obviously sitting on top of your skin.
Didn't blend well with my bronzer or blush.
I started developing a few blemishes after using for a week (although I'm not really sure this was the cause).

So, overall, if you can find a color that matches you, it might be worth a shot. But I'm going back to my standby.

Really like this powder for setting my makeup. Provides medium coverage, so isn't going to be a replacement foundation, but doesn't look cakey over top my liquid foundation either. Wore this ontop of True Match in humid rainy weather for 16+ hours, from walking around outside in muggy heat to the club at night, and my coverage was still really good (better than True Match by itself - which tends to melt after 6 hours!)

I use this over my liquid foundation and I actually like it a lot. Because of this, I do not need to do any touch ups throughout the day as my skin looks perfect. My skin is pretty oily but this keeps the oilies at bay. I am Natural Beige in L'Oreal Visible Life but I wear Sun Beige in this to get some color. I used to have issues with my blush not spreading well on my cheeks but this took care of that issue. A great product for a great price.

Okay Here Goes: I LOVE THIS STUFF!! I have been on the hunt for the perfect foundation - something not too heavy, good coverage, not powdery looking, not dry looking, no settling in cracks and not liquid. I have exhausted all mineral makeup. Can't find one both me and my skin like.

So I bought this and I bought the Lancome Dual Finish. I thought I'd compare. Well, this stuff blows the Lancome away. First off, it's oil-free, noncomodegenic, and spf.....but it doesn't look dry, either wet application or dry application. I think it works great both ways. I use the wet app on my cheeks and nose and then use a kabuki all over. After about 5 min it sinks into my skin and you can't see it, but I look flawless. As a former Accutane user, flawless is not a word I'd use to describe my skin. But this stuff makes my skin look fabulous AND it lasts a very, very, very long time. I love the packaging; it fits in my makeup bag, but has a mirror.

So I am a huge Lancome fan, but the Dual Finish broke me out.......And usually I am very snobbish about drug store foundation. But I really love this. It may be the HG. Give it a try. See what you think.

When it comes to pressed powders, I am usually happy with my standard Cover Girl Powder Compact. However, I decided to be daring and try a new brand and went with L'oreal Infallible. This product did provide pretty good coverage, however it did not really control oil/shine for very long and it did have a tendency to become cakey and accentuate dry patches. I also hated the packaging, which looked cheap and was not very durable. The lid broke off, which exposed the powder to the various pens and other sharp objects in my purses, ruining the compact and causing a powdery mess in my purse. I would not repurchase this item again and plan to stay with my old trusted Cover Girl compact.

LOVE IT!
