I chose this mascara after I used and loved the regular High Impact mascara, seeing that this one had a curling bonus, but I was quite disappointed: it does work in terms of curling and making lashes look very nice but for some reason it flakes a lot! I haven't experienced this much flaking with any mascara before, after a few hours of use I find tiny black flakes all around my eyes :( I suppose it's due to the different formula, as the lady in the counter explained this one had a non-smudge formula that the regular one didn't have. Funny because the regular one worked perfect for me, no smudging or flaking, so I will return that one next time.

I have both this and the regular High Impact Curling Mascara. I was excited to find they came out with a curling one. I have never had success with curling wands but I have no issue with this one. I have Asian short sparse stick straight eyelashes and this mascara holds a curl. One this I LOVE about this is how easily it comes off without smudging off. Many waterproof mascaras I have tried are sticky or flaky. I also like that you can coat coat coat and still separate without a clumpy mess. I recommended this to my sister, who bought it, and then for Christmas got her a mascara book of mascaras from Sephora and despite all of those samples, she still likes the Clinique! She uses this to wear on stage, she is a contemporary dancer and sweats quite a big under the stage lights. I will buy again gladly even if the price went up into the $30 range.

I LOVE this mascara! I am Asian and I have pretty short lashes so this mascara does everything that I need it to do. It is quite pricey ($16.00) so I have tried many drugstore brand but I always find myself coming back to this one.
It curls and volumizes my lashes and it actually lasts really long (although I use it pretty often). I really have no complaints at all.

BEST LASHES EVER.
Long, full, separated, lifted, eye-opening, non-smudging, non-clumping if applied properly (see instructions below).
To Apply: This is a 3-coat mascara. Apply one eye at a time - top lashes, then bottom lashes, repeat, repeat. Do not re-dip the brush during coats. After completing the 3 coats on the first eye, re-dip the brush ready for a fresh application to the second eye. Repeat the same process you used on the first eye. Black is very nice. I prefer the black-brown which is a very natural-looking & flattering brown shade for my blond eyelashes.
To Remove: Bend over the sink & splash warm water gently over lashes until they are saturated, then begin to brush wet fingertips gently down from lash-root to tip & mascara will roll off. Keep re-wetting hands and brushing fingertips along the lashes until you can feel nothing left sticking to the lashes. Continue with your usual make-up removal routine for your eyes & the rest of your face.
Re-purchase as soon as the mascara seems to be feeling dry or flaky during application (in my experience, sometimes after 3 months, sometimes 4).

I like this. I'm not falling head over heels for it but its good. It curls, volumizes and lengthens a little. The con is that it takes A REALLY long time to dry making it difficult to blink without getting it all over my face.
Aside from that, it works pretty well, especially the curved brush.

Best mascara ever! The perfect match for my short and straight lashes (my parents are from Vietnam), and i've tried almost everything (or, i feel like), and this is by far the best one! It's a bit pricey, but it's all worth the money! Try it!

the formula is a little thick for me, i find that to much mascara comes out on the brush which can make it clumpy on the eyes, however i usually wipe the brush on a tissue before i use it and then it works fine. I have stick straight lashes and this does give them a curl., plus it stays all day.

Love, love this mascara! I'm a big fan of tubing mascaras, since I have an active lifestyle and can't worry about mascara smearing- plus, I tend to lose lashes with traditional waterproof mascaras. This one is a winner for me. It provides great length and moderate thickness with no flaking or irritation like others. Clumping is minimal especially when I comb through with an old mascara wand. I can nap, be in the rain, cry and deal with heat with no worries. For some reason, Lash Power flakes, but this doesn't. Swimming only leads to clumps, but no big deal. The price is reasonable and my lashes hold a curl all day without using a curler. I will faithfully buy until it's discontinued!

I have been using this for years and it is the closest thing I have come to for my HG mascara. I use colour black brown.
Pros
Full, separated natural lashes
Doesn't melt in heat, (even when I worked through a hot, humid Floridian summer in an outdoor setting.)
Cons
Doesn't hold a curl
Flakes off if you go swimming
I do love this mascara and I guess you can't have it all but I would have expected a curling mascara to hold a curl better...it's the only reason it's not my HG.

I didn't love the regular high impact but I happen to love this version. (Surprised the hell of out of me too.) It lasts all day on me, I find the brush surprisingly easy to work with, and I can get length and volume with this formula. Plus I think the price is reasonable considering how much moolah I've spent on drugstore mascaras lately. I experience no irritation with this mascara and it's easy to remove at night. Additional plus: No lash fall out. It's also pretty humidity and water resistant but I would not rely on it for heavy crying since my curl does droop if I cry. I'm on my 2nd tube so I have given this a good go.

this mascara does not preserve the curl of my carefully curled lashes, and it is otherwise unremarkable to me. The brush may be too big for my little ol' eyes, meaning that I apply too much product for my sparse, straight lashes.

I ALMOST love this mascara. I wanted to try a tubing mascara instead of a waterproof mascara b/c I don't like the texture of most waterproof mascaras. I am mostly pleased with this one because I can wear it in 90+ degree heat plus southern humidity and it doesn't fail me. I can only give it 4 stars because I was told at the Clinique counter that I could swim in it, but it did start coming off some when I was at the beach. I would not wear it swimming again. It is a good summer mascara overall. I will probably buy it again, but I am interested in finding a mascara that I can swim in.

I really like this mascara it separates, volumizes and keeps a curl. it might be a little hard to remove but i love that i could go to the movies and cry and i know ill still look hot on my way out haha. The only reason i gave this a 4 is because it does tend to clump a bit but i just keep brushing it out with the brush and then it looks very defined and separated. I love the color on this its kinda like a silky black. I curl my lashes before and after and my curl last all day, and it makes my lower lashes look really good. I hate waterproof mascaras because they are impossible to remove even with make up remover, i hate seeing lashes coming off! But this stuff just comes off with warm water. Another thing is this make my lashes look really long! Love it!

LOVE this mascara. Absolutely amazing. For application, make sure to wipe some mascara off at first otherwise it can be a little messy. Personally, I curl my lashes twice throughout my whole process of applying mascara. Curl, apply, curl, and comb through. It holds all day!! I started to get so many compliments about my eyelashes. And if you are someone that is obsessed with a BIG curl, then this is perfect. The only downside is that it can get spidery if you apply too many coats. For me, I apply only one, let it sit, recurl, comb through, and then put a small coat of CoverGirl Lash Blast Fusion mascara on top. Perfect for huge, giant eyelashes. Plus, it's not super expensive like Dior and urban decay.

I decided to try and use this mascara because I have quite sensitive skin around my eyes and thought this product will help. I've used many other mascaras and they have caused really bad reactions. After trying this mascara, I've had no reactions and my skin around my eyes are back to normal. This mascara does not clump and glides on nicely. I have long straight lashes and these enable me to curl them perfectly. II love this mascara and i'm very happy that I found something that works well on me!

I just got this stuff in the mail today. I bought it strictly for its waterproof qualities. I have to say that it looked so dry compared to other mascaras I've used. But anyway, it's on right now. I've had "tubes" mascara before and I did like that I could swim with it, cry with it, etc. I was also told by Clinique that we can put other mascara over it and it will still come off like tubes. So, I may repost on here after I try that out tonight. I used my other mascara over it to get a more dramatic effect; it did not add much length or volume to my lashes. But, when I used my other mascara over it, I was very pleased. So, if it doesn't come off like they said it would, I will report it. If it all works out, I won't repost. We shall see...
OK, you guys. It's true! I will now tell you that after I applied my Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara, I put a coat of Lancome Definicils over it. It gave my eyelashes that dramatic effect that I wanted it. Now...when I took my shower tonight, it ALL washed off! Just like the Clinique rep (off of their website) told me it would. It really did! I'm not one who wants to use a layer of lash primer and then, mascara. But it is good for know for those times when I want more drama that I can sweep a coat of my favorite other mascara on top of High Impact and it WILL all wash off with warm water. Wow. I was amazed. I'm so happy!

I love this mascara. I have naturally long lashes & this mascara coats them perfectly, without clumping. I really notice the curl too.
It's a bit runnier than normal mascaras but once you're used to it, it's easy to apply. I love that I don't have to worry about panda eyes anymore (my boyfriend loves that I don't leave black marks all over his pillows after a night out anymore too!) it just takes a warm face cloth held against your eyes a few seconds & it slides right off. Couldn't be easier.

This mascara makes my lashes fanned out, long, and more dramatic than natural without looking too done and gross. The tubing formula stands up to my watery allergy eyes. It took a moment to get used to the idea that this mascara comes of easy with warm water *but* doesn't budge under the assault of the eye makeup remover. It's a good thing though, all the pros of waterproof with non of the cons.
I've had issues with bent wands in the past, they tend to apply goopy and be kind of obnoxious in application, but I haven't had any problems with this wand. I actually think the shape of this wand helps achieve the fanned look in the outer corners. I can't speak for curling powers as my lashes never have a problem holding a curl. Perhaps it's because I have natural curl.
The problem I ran into with mascara, is that despite it being fragrance free it still irritated my eyes a bit. Loved the look, but I won't repurchase.

Every single mascara I buy clumps and flakes and doesn't hold the curl but this is the only one that doesn't do any of that I love this mascara I put in 2 coats of it and it still didn't clump and it lasted the whole day without flaking and I didn't have to curl my lashes after I put it on like I do with other mascaras! I wil never buy another mascara again because this one is amazing

My eyelashes are stick straight and I wear contact lenses and have pretty teary eyes. All mascaras I have tried end up giving me racoon eyes (waterproof or not). This has been the only mascara that allows me to keep a curl like lash blast but without the racoon eye. I still can't get a straight answer on whether it is a tubing mascara or not. I am sure it is as you need warm water to remove it and you gently pull the tubes of mascara off of your lashes. This freaked me out at first considering my lashes are so sparse but I am not pulling my actual lashes off - the stuff that comes off is this spongy/plasticky material and it comes off in clumps. I pulled it apart and found no eyelashes.
