This is my HG foundation. I usually wear WRF1. This ranks right up there in quality with my Nars Sheer Glow and Make Up For Ever HD. All three of these are my favorite foundations ever... this gives me an amazing healthy glow, covers all imperfections, looks natural, lasts, and oh it smells AMAZING lol. I also love that it comes with a little shaker ball inside to help keep the product from settling. I love it!!!!

I had a similar experience to the reviewer below. I was looking for something new for the winter since I am ALWAYS the lightest shade of any brand. The MUA at Sephora recommended this Korres foundation because I told her I was looking for a more matte look, with maybe a slight glow but NOT a shimmer/shine. She put a little on my chin and it seemed to match and look okay under the blaring fluorescent light they have on either side of the makeup chair mirrors. I bought the extremely small $32 bottle which she convinced me was worth it. The next day, I prepped, primed, concealed and then applied. To my horror, I looked in the mirror after it dried and saw my face was totally orange (complete with that lovely division line at the jaw.) Not to mention, this foundation does give quite the dewy look, and without powder it just looks like an oil slick. I was mortified and had to start over on my face routine. I returned it the next day to the same snotty woman. Ugh, Korres is a no for me.

I must say I have been using this product for over a year and I really like it. I have dry skin and this comes on really smoothly on my face. It is a natural product so you do have to shake the product and I did forget that here and there but nothing happened. I would definitely buy this product again. The only thing is I kinda wish that the contained wheat germ.

This was the worst foundation I have ever tried. I bought in the lightest color and it was ORANGE. Not an orange tint to it, just flat out Orange. The smell of it is horrific. It's strong and gave me a headache. The foundation consistency was really watery even after I shook it up. This product was terrible.

Packaging : Nice and sleek bottle has a little ball inside, so when you shake it, its really mixing the product for you. A pump would be nice but not as important as what’s inside.
Read "Application" below for technique I found best used.

Information and Ingredients: The company KORRES happily displays all ingredients they use, easy to find on there website. And included on packaging. FDA does not regulate Cosmetics so do your research, you might be surprised by what big name brand cosmetics make it near impossible to find out what actually is going on your face. We should all have the right to know. Thank you KORRES for honesty and transparency in your ingredients. Comes with a expiration date on the bottom. Makeup should be fresh! I agree to that!

Liquid Foundation: is Medium to Full Coverage. Smooth liquid consistency. Very light sweet rosy smell when first applied, then fades shortly after application. Already contains a SPF of 20, which is important because I don’t like putting layer after layer of product on my face. This saves me a step. Color is just a perfect match for me. I wear WRF2 its spot on. Last all day, when they say lasting foundation, they really mean it. Its great for someone that’s busy. You don’t need to touch up, I looked flawless when I applied it and flawless when I took it off. AMAZING! I feel like I’m feeding my skin because this foundation contains so many good for u ingredients.

Application: Using clean hands and clean face I gently shake the bottle, then twist off the cap. Using my ring finger I cover the bottle opening turn it upside down really quick and I dab few dots all over my face as needed. (note: you don’t need to pour out more product than you need if you use this technique) I use my Cover FX 160 brush and blend using small circular motion. I set with a very light dusting of wild rose pressed powder using a soft kabuki brush.

This is my Holy Grail foundation I will be stocking up. I am in love and I hope this helped if your thinking about trying it. Do it its Amazing!

After reading reviews on this foundation, and how it works better with yellow undertones (which I have), I finally decided to try this product in WRF3. It was frighteningly yellowy orange when putting it on for the first time, but it eventually changes into your skin color. The great thing is that it is buildable, so you can layer on until you're happy and not feel like you have layers of makeup on your face. The finish is great - my skin looks brighter and healthy, especially in the winter when it tends to get dry and dull. It is easier to use your fingers to do this. Some have complained about the packaging, but I actually like the bottle because I can control how much comes out of it - versus the pump, where if you pump out too much, you can't put it back in. The price is reasonable too - I also use Lavera and 100% Pure liquid makeup and the Korres is comparable in price. I use Korres Vitamin E primer with the Wild Rose Foundation - the key is to use the primer otherwise it will likely melt off in a few hours. Overall, a great product!

***UPDATE***
I returned wrf3 for wrf2! Its crazy how dark they run but pshff who cares???? (Shocked im a 2 bc im not pale! at all!) This foundation is INCREDIBLEEEEEE! Best I have EVER used. I tried more dept store brands than I can even count! This BLOWS them all away!

It incredibly long lasting without being drying! And gives a luminous look! Also it does NOT irritate my highly sensitive skin!!!!

I use a the stippling method and brush to apply! (it didnt blend well with fingers). The look is FLAWLESSSSS!

I also LOVE the bottle! There is a mixing ball in it so you can easily shake the bottle and mix it!

For reference I have light/medium skin with yello undertones.
I wear mufe hd in 127
med. beige in BE. (highly allergic to BE)
MAC nc-25-30

wrf3 is too dark and does oxidize with orange undertones on my skin.

I really do love this product. It has many pros and just as many cons but it is still the foundation I come back to.

I initially thought I'd try this after seeing a beautiful african american girl with glowing skin absolutely. I asked her what she used and she told me Korres Wild Rose.

I bought a bottle and after a few days friends were commenting that my complexion looked beautiful, even and glowing and brighter. (My friend then went out and bought a bottle the next day after seeing me and her skin looks gorgeous).
I love that the foundation runs in a yellow base because I often find foundations too red for me.

I was initially confused about the reviews that this was blotchy/patchy. The lady that sold me this told me that this dries very fast and you need to spread it quickly. I recommend NOT using a brush - instead use clean fingers. When I use my brush it is harder to blend I find.
I usually dot foundation on both of my cheeks and spread this out with my fingers and then work from there in applying to the rest of my face.

This has very buildable coverage. The coverage from one layer is not very good but I usually dot more foundation on the areas I need and build the coverage up.
It really does not feel caked on and feels like I'm not wearing anything on my skin.

Pros:
- buildable coverage
- It is a little dewy looking - which I this looks beautiful. It is very easy to make matte. Actually when I apply this it always looks dewy on my cheeks and normal everywhere else - perhaps because I apply more on my cheeks (?).
- brightening
- good for people with yellow and olive based skin tones
- no breakouts (for me anyways)
- applying more than 1 layer does not look heavy
- feels like you are not wearing foundation

Cons:
- comes off fairly quickly without primer etc (and even with primer can come off quickly). This is the biggest negative.
I avoid this by applying this on in several layers. It stayed on during the whole night of my wedding after the mua applied it with primer in several layers.

- Price: at $AUD 58 I'll look overseas for purchasing this next time!
- packaging - opaque glass bottle with no pump

For those that think this is patchy I recommend trying to apply with your fingers - fairly quickly before the product dries.

I will go back to this because the Pros outweight the cons for me!

It doesn't conceal, doesn't last at all. All shades have a yellow undertone.

I like the fact that it brightens my skin however, it didn't do a good job at concealing my oiliness.

I don't like this product at all and I will be taking it back to Sephora as soon as I am able.

It looked fine when I first put it on but in a different type of light that was not the case. On pictures you can clearly see the yellow blotches all over my face, it also looks uneaven and cakey. This foundation is also very liquidly, I had to pour it three times last time I did my makeup, so if you are not careful it may be finished in less than a month and then you'll have to go back to Sephora and pay $30 dollars to get another one! ;)

I saw the reviews for this foundation on Youtube, luckily for me i did or else i would have purchased this in W3 which one have been far too yellow/orangey for me.

I went ahead and purchased this in W2. I first applied this using my fingers but i was far from impressed as i looked a tad bit cakey and i expected it to give me a nice natural dewy finish. In the evening i tried it again using the Sigma F80 brush and i was amazed at how flawless i looked.

I found that i look better with one layer of this foundation only, if i try to add another layer on top then i will look greasy and very orangey! This product is ok but i have used much better foundations so chances are i will not purchase this again.

This is a very liquid foundation that seems to me more like a tinted moisturizer. It is very sheer. The colors are mostly yellow toned, so beware if you are very pale or very cool. I am NW25 and can pull off WR3 with a slight tan. Finish is somewhat dewy and sets easily. I have mature skin. Mild rosewater scent. I dislike the opaque brown bottle, but perhaps it helps to preserve the foundation somehow.

Horrible stuff! It looked fine under the store lights in Sephora, but once I got home, I realized i looked like a splotchy, cakey carrot. It came out straight orange and felt like I had some type of film on my face. It just looked and felt gross. I took it right back and swapped it for my HG Lorac foundation. I don't recommend this to anyone.

I love this product. I have been looking for a foundation for so long and i've finally found one that I love. I will never use Mac, Make Up Forever, Tarte or anything else that I have used in the past. I do have some acne marks on my face but I just use a good concealer to cover them up. More than anything I love the way this feels on my face, it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing makeup. I just wish they had a pump other than that I love everything about it.

This foundation (WRF3) is slightly too yellow BUT I wear a sheer wash of Dr.Hauschka Bronze concentrate (with moisturizer) to my bare face everyday to even out any imperfections and give a little omf to my complexion before I apply any makeup. So, thought I'd add a little to the foundation itself and that seemed to do the trick. LOVE IT. I do dust a layer of Guerlain Terracotta Mineral powder shade 2# over the top to help set it and it's good to go. Two other things, apply a little foundation primer before makeup to add longevity. Also a good pump for this is a must and I used my MUF HD foundation pump and it fits perfectly. Would repurchase.

This is the first real review I have written. I purchased this foundation 2 days ago. What first appealed to me was that it was natural. After getting matched up to the 2 color I believed a this would be a wonderful foundation. Sadly it was HORRIBLE.
I wore it for one day and was constanly blending in this blotchyness that kept happening. I thought I would give it another day before I decided.
I went to work the next day and everyone told me how horrible and blotchy it was (I work with females). I dont have ad skin, maybe a acne mark here or there, and some discoloration just from my skintone being uneven- I have worn make up forever and am used to having that Flawless look that only wearing foundation gives me.
Let me tell you this made me look and feel like I had terrible skin, every acne mark stood out threefold, along with every dry and greasy spot.

It even felt caky and gross. I swtiched it out for Lorrac so we will see how that goes.

I'm a yellow/golden toned black woman & use the wrf6. Which is a great match! it gives a really natural finish, which I love. doesnt dry me out or make me oily. I apply with my fingers since it does absorb pretty quuickly into the skin, I would not want to waste this product by using a sponge or brush.

I got a sample of this in autumm and at first I wasn´t impressed, I have combo/dry skin and this foundation made my t-zone too shiny after a few hours however when the winter came and the temperatures lowered below 0 this foundation was a life saver it gives a natural healthy glow to the skin I only podwer my t-zone with the anti shine podwer by Kryolan. This is my favourite must have winter foundation, it melts with the skin without grabbing onto dry areas. I´m nc20-25 and the shade 2 it´s perfect, I don´t specially find that oxidizes on my skin or maybe just a bit like with any other foundation once the natural oils on your skin come through. I already bought a full size bottle and will repurchase in the future. Paula Begoun has given it a happy face specially for the proper sun protection it offers.

Age: 19-24   Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium   Hair: Red, Medium   Eyes: Other

Background: I have light -medium Asian skin with warm undertones. Acne-prone, combination-oily skin and some hyperpigmentation. This broke me out initially.

Shade: 4/5* I got a 0.34 oz sample in WRF3. It runs really yellow and oxidizes pretty fast (in ~5 hours) But since I have warm tones the yellowness works for me and the shade is, impressively, almost an exact match on my skin.

Packaging: 2/5* A regular pour-out tube with a large opening that is very unhygienic and makes it too easy to pour out more than you need.

Application: 3/5* This goes on sheer yellow and has light to light-medium coverage. Can be built on to give medium coverage. But wouldn't work as full coverage. This dries very quickly so using your fingers rather than a brush is recommended (though a stipple brush would be good too). Though it does dry quickly, it also is veryyy moisturizing, meaning oilier skin-types should be wary since it does cause shiny spots a few hours after application. This is good for dry winter weather but not so much hot summer weather

Comedogenic factor: I first used this back in July, when my skin was extra sensitive from a few glycolic peels I had. This foundation did broke me out after 2 days of applying it in cysts on places where I never had acne. So I stopped using it immediately. Fast forward to now, I decided to use it again and it did not break me out this time. So I attributed the break out due to my sensitive skin back then and the extra moisturizing properties of this foundation.

SPF factor: has an spf of 20, which is decent, but I always use SPF30 or more when i spend more than 20 minutes outside in the sun

Brightness inducing claim: Korres claims this foundation brightens your skin. It is true only if you wear it sheer or light. Any other build up would just look cakey. My skin did look brighter and more clarified when I wore it but that may just be due to the shininess it induces.

Bottom-line: Recommend ONLY if you don't have problem, acne-prone skin
