This is a really nice product. The color is a medium dark violet - I was hoping for a brighter, more intense color but this works well as a more ''natural violet colored mascara'' if that makes any sense. I got it for 5 or 6 bucks in a Victoria's secret store two years ago and bought another one the same day because I was so impressed with the quality for the price. It is not very volumizing but it does lenghten quite a lot. It doesn't smudge or flake on me. It's also really easy to remove. Will repurchase again.

I am surprise at all these bad reviews. This is one of my favorite mascara. I have straight short asian lashes and this holds my curl and it does not smudge!!! When u hear that from an asian u know that mascara works! I am extremely picky when it comes to mascara. Most of them dont work on me and they usually smudge or dont hold a curl.
This does not give me big lashes but it gives me natural lashes which i actually like. Best part is that it has a beautiful purple tint that actually shows up on my black lashes!! The wand is really good as well because it gets the mascara all the way to the root without smudging. The squeezable tube is uber cute too and u dont waste any mascara since u could squeeze them all out. 5 stars! I also got this on sale- one of those 4 lipglosses or eyeshadows for $20 deal. Go get it!! It's excellent.

Normally I have zero complaints about Victoria's Secret products but I was so disappointed with this mascara. First of all, it didn't lengthen nor volumize my lashes. I found it extremely hard to even get the mascara to coat my lashes properly. No matter what kind of lighting I'm in, I cannot see any purple on my lashes - it just looks like black mascara. This was a huge waste of money considering that I can think of many better mascaras even cheaper than the $7 I paid for this.

This is just a mascara I would use if I had nothing else. It doesn't give length or volume. There is a very subtle purple tint. It clumps and flakes a little, but I haven't noticed any smudging, unless of course if it comes in contact with water. Since I got it for $1.75, it's alright, but if it were at regular price, I definitely would NOT buy.

Isn't my favorite as far as holding a curl & no flakes, but is a fair mascara. Just make sure you wipe off all excess product. Tha purple is dark & nice, though it isn't extremely noticable, which I don't mind. Tha best way to apply is to press lashes down to tha rod where most of tha color is and SLOWLY pull through. Tha original price was $7US but I got it on tha 75% price @ $1.75. I Think tha pacakaging is soooooo ingenius!!!!! That's really tha amazing thing about this product. It's in a squeeze tube, that way you can get all tha product out rather than a good portion of it sitting at tha bottom of tha regular hard cylinder tubes. It's also cute & sleek. I will definitely repurchase @ this price, nice product overall. I also love that Victoria's Secret does not animal test.

i got this mascara last week for 1.75$ it's 75% off, i bought 2 in violight and 1 in navy, went home, tried it one. Didn't notice any color but my boyfriend see navy color and he said it's cute, i went back to store yesterday, bought 2 in Navy and 1 in violight for 1.75/each ... Add very little lenght and color but it's good at this onsale price.

I think for the price this is a good product. People have said they can see the purple on my lashes, though that's all the mascara really does. It doesn't really add length, but that bother me because I already have longish lashes. It doesn't add volume. It doesn't clump though and that's a big problem I have with a lot of mascaras. I'd buy it again if I couldn't find another purple mascara.

This mascara was a big disappointment. It barely shows up at all on dark lashes & as others have noted, does nothing to add fullness, length, volume, etc. Would def not repurchase, in fact I think I used it only 3x before tossing it in the trash, it just did absolutely nothing for me. Maybe on blonde lashes it would be more dramatic?

Hi..I found this mascara to be extremely dry and felt that it does not give enough volume. It always smudges and i am really not happy with this product.

This is a very mellow mascara, but for day to day use it is great. Can be dramatized by layering over another, preferably a light colored, mascara. What I love is how fast and easy it goes on and comes off. Just a couple layers looks pretty natural on my dark lashes, till I get in the sun, then it looks purple. I really like the light feel, and no clumping or flaking ever! Just perfect lashes. Must be great on blond lashes!

It's an okay, everyday mascara, especially if you already have lush lashes. I have it in navy, and i like to layer it under my black mascara, and it makes my eyes look brighter. it's okay, just not phenomenal, and when you get 6 beauty rush products for 25$ it's a pretty good deal

I got this in black and purple. I love them both. Black is my daily mascara and works well with me (I already have thick, long, curled lashes, and it just bumps it up a good bit)
The purple, I have a set application process. I apply one coat, then wait and apply the primer/white side of "double extend" by L'Oreal. I like the primer, hate the mascara, so it gives me a way to use at least half of it. This makes my lashes greyish white. Then, I comb through the primer and first layer a few times and put on two more layers of the purple. It gives my lashes purple "highlights" and looks great. Takes a bit of time, but worth it.
Oh, and I ADORE the packaging.

The color on the Beauty Rush mascaras is waaaay too subtle. Several coats and it looks like MAYBE it's a violet tint, just maybe, if you look hard enough in the right light. It's not a horrible mascara but nothing special. A big disappointment.

I bought this in black. The only thing I like about this is the packaging.. it's cute and different. The wand is really good too because it gets the mascara all the way to the root without smudging. But other than that this mascara sucks! It doesn't lengthen or thicken my lashes. It gives a nice natural look right after you apply it, but later on it just looks like your natural lashes without any mascara. It seems buildable at first, but your lashes end up looking clumpy and ugly once its dried. Not repurchasing!!

Ok, I found the quality of this mascara to be terrible, and I'm not sure if it's the formula or the wand. Either way, it does NOTHING for my lashes, even with the crazy blue color. Half the time I'm wondering if there's anything even ON my lashes!! Don't waste your money...there are drug store brands that work MUCH much better!!!

this mascara does NOTHING FOR ME!
really really bad.
the wand looks like one of those sample wands
that you use at macy's or something.
the color isnt that great either.
i had to apply like 5 coats (not kidding) just to see some lenght!
and you can gurantee that there was clumps.
it takes a loooooong time to dry.
and the color is barely visible.
victoria's secret is ripping us off with this product ladies.
my advice, dont buy this if:
-you have short, straight eyelashes
-you have dark lashes
-you basically have barely visible lashes
-you want lenght
-you want volume
-you want curl
-you want color
-you dont want clumps
buy this product if:
-you have nice long, curly light eyelashes
this mascara may work for some people, but for the rest of us, i highly recommend you NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT.
its a waste of money.
go buy another one of their eyeshadows instead.

This mascara is good for every day where you don't want your lashes to look too dramatic or bold. This just gives your lashes a healthy simple look. It doesn't do too much for volume or length but does curve your lashes so they are not limp. I'm Asian and my eyelashes point downwards so this mascara just lifts them a little so I don't look too tired. I love it for an everyday simple look. I have this in black.

I really like this product! Great price and not too much hassle with the application. I only deducted a lippie because it wasn't great with curling. I have straigh eye lashes, and it took me about three coats to get the desired effect, but afterwards it was great. It wore really nicely throughout the whole day and it was easy to clean it off :)

I bought this in black to replace diorshow (which flaked really badly) after reading the positive reviews here. It's not very dramatic and sometimes takes up to 3 and even 4 sweeps to get a noticeable difference. That may be considered a con but there was absolutely no clumping or smudging at all which is pretty amazing for a mascara. It lengthens really well, but does not thicken much which is fine by me, mind you I bought this for more of a natural look to wear to work or on casual dates.
I would love to buy the other colors to try out. Overall this is one of my favorite mascaras now. took off one lippie because of the amount of times I had to apply it.
