I got a sample of this, and I liked it a lot, but it lasted less than 2 hours on me. That's not enough to justify buying a bottle.

I love this fragrance. It's light, floral sweet but not annoying sweet and gives a clean and fresh feeling. Very lovely. I sometimes can be so sensitive to fragrance and this doesn't give me headache. Love the bottle, the wavy texture is very elegant. Like the previous reviewers said, it has no depth but it's okay for me and the downside is its longevity, it is fleeting on me.
And yes, i would repurchase.

The silk flower tree (nemu-no-ki) is fairly common in some parts of East Asia and its scent is familiar and nostalgic for me, having grown up with it -- and so is Kenzo's copy a very distinctly summery cultural motif. Eau de Fleur de Soie isn't a perfect replica of that lovely, mild scent but the nemunoki is definitely locatable in it. I got it for that.

But without that background familiarity, I'm not sure that EdFdS would seem particularly standout in a lineup of other fresh florals. I can see how it might read as generic and sort of vaguely peony (that's the silk flower note). And it is a little harsh -- which is disappointing, when the scent of the actual tree blossom is so gentle. But I always rinse some of it off after spritzing, and the residual scent is enough like those delicate and kind of strange pink-tipped feathery puffs to be a trace of the past.

A very sweet fruity floral with little to no depth, which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't also give me a horrible headache. This smells so sweet it makes my stomach hurt, and so harsh as well. It seems like something you might clean toilets with. It calls itself silk but I'm pretty sure it's synthetic.

This has got to be the lightest fragrance I've ever smelled. When I put my nose to my wrist I can smell the loveliest fragrance but upon second sniff, nothing - it's that fleeting. The fragrance does remind me of silk. Beautiful floral with a touch of tart fruit underneath (to me it's plum). Lovely bottle also and I do believe this would be great for summer but because the fragrance is so fleeting to me, I won't be purchasing.

This is one out of three limited edition fragrance waters. Kenzo being Japanese expect this to be inobtrusive so you just smell very clean not perfumed. It's Silk Blossom with fruity notes.

For those who like very light floral scents, this is for you! Think Stella in Two Peony. Smells very clean and light one has to be really close to smell you. If you like Lily in the valley or peony scents this will appeal to you. Great for week ends, everyday or for tweens and young teens.
