I just got this at my CCO for $11.75 and it's worked wonders for me so far :) looks great with sketch (as another reviewer said) or shadowy lady in the crease.
I also agree that this is a HUGE amount of product that i prolly will never hit pan on.
gorgeous colour that lasts :)

Total gorgeous-ness! Forged Rose and Pink Platinum were my two favorites from the re-release of the Metal-X eyeshadows. This one is incredibly stunning on! Color wise ... it's like Rose pigment meets Expensive Pink. It applies like a dream, blending is awesome and texture unbeatable! One of the better MAC collections for useability. I picked up most of these, and this is the one that's gotten used the most going into fall and wearing more burgundy/plum shades. Looks incredible with Jest and Sketch in the crease! total love!!

Overall rating: I gave this product 4 lippies simply because pink-gold eyeshadows look super on me, and I have a few of them I think I may like better. I may "up" the rating to 5-lippie HG status once I do some comparisons.
Price: $17.50, which I think is fair given the huge amount of "domed" product you get in the pot.
Packaging: Ordinary MAC pot, but the product has a pretty shell design imprinted on top.
Color: From the reviews, I was expecting a deep rose shade with gold sparkles in it. Instead, it is more of a deep medium rosy gold that is so well blended that I can't see any difference between the two colors, which rendered it a bit pinky-coral on my lids. Pretty; just not what I was expecting. It also is not as metallic a finish as I expected from the name; it's almost like a brighter Laura Mercier Rose Gold Cream Eyeshadow. It applied well with my fingers, and over TFSI, it lasted a full 8 hours. I never have problems with creasing, so I can't comment on this.
Where did I buy this? Freestanding MAC store, but you can get it at any MAC counter in a department store.
Would I buy again: Probably not because (1) I'll probably never use it up and (2) if I dropped or lost it, I have so many other similar colors.

These brushed metal-x shadows are so much better than the ones from last years' metal-x collection!
These are much more creamy, easier to use and they last really really well!
This shade is really gorgeous too! I'm wearing it right now with Mythology and Sketch eyeshadows on top and it's super pretty :)

Fabulous dark rose with a rose gold shimmer. I love this -- I agree that it is a lot like the pigment Rose but better and easier to use. I love this line and have the gold spice which I also love and have now put my Noble up for grabs here in MUA! I am a GGG and this makes my eyes beautiful all by itself but also looks stunning with Forged Powerpoint eye pencil.

This is a metallic rose shade that reminds me of Rose pigment in cream eyeshadow form. It goes on very easy and lasts for a long time. I like to use the Metal-X shadows over Classic Cream liquid last liner as a base. I also love to use the Metal-X shadows as liners (without a base under) - they don't budge - even through washing my face! This is one of the prettiest shadows from the Metal Urge collection.
