This colour is in Sally Hansen's "NO CHIP 10 Day Nail Colour" line.This is my go-to ruby red. I find that the colour in the bottle is an accurate representation of how it looks on the nails. I have super fair skin and it looks great on my fingers and toes. The formula and brush are also wonderful and make it a breeze to apply. You could get away with one coat of this polish, but I usually do two just to make sure there isn't any blotchiness that may appear under different lighting. It's not a really thick formula so you can still use a base and top coat with it without your nails feeling super thick with product. I'm about 2/3 through this bottle and it hasn't thickened on me yet, and still wears well. I get about a week of wear from this with almost no chipping when used with a good base and top coat (China Glaze Strong Adhesion base coat, and Sally Hansen Hard as Nails as a top coat). I would highly recommend this polish! I've also had luck with the couple other colours I've tried from the same line. I haven't bought any in a while though so I hope this line or this colour haven't been discontinued!

i love this shade of red, i would say its my favorite red. i get the same color in the bottle with two coats. its a darkish red thats matte with no shimmers. i dont have problems with chipping if i wear a topcoat since i do a lot with my hands i need it. this color looks very good on my fingers and toes. i love it.


for me, this is an exact dupe for china glazes Ravishing Dahling if you apply the CG in two coats only.

I liked the bottle and brush a lot. The polish itself went on very smoothly. However, I was expecting a shade or two darker when applying. From the bottle, it looked like the red shade I wanted, but when I applied the first coat, it was cherry tomato red, a little too bright. I had to apply 3-4 coats to get the desired color based on the bottle.

Also, I like that it doesnt bleed through to your nails, generally dark/red polishes do that. It was easy to remove.

This truly is 10 day nail color, no chips! I've actually had mine on now for 14 days. This is a classic red shade that I think all women should own. I bought one for my girlfriend and she started laughing, she already owns two bottles of the same shade! I have no complaints, one of my favorite polishes!
