This is similar to their Cleansing Oil which is my HG in gel form.

Gets even the most waterproof eyeliner out. I think the with the gel form, I am more prone to use way too much product.

Going back to their Cleansing Oil.

I fall in love with this products after a second use. This is my first review after 6 years being a hidden member.

My skin is very sensitive and only Japanese products can work on me (I am asian). I gave SKii a try 2 weeks ago and I found FTE, Cellumination Essence and Cellumination Deep Surge work well with me (will comments in detail separately).

I bought this cleansing gel two days ago to replace my Seikisei perfect cleansing oil. Beforehand I used Fancel cleansing oil for more than 2 years. A few months ago, my skin became dull without reason. People keep asking did I use very dark bronzer over my face but I didn't change any skin care or make up!

After I used this cleansing gel, my face becomes brighter and whiter, like it kills all dull and darknest I had these few months. My skin looks radiant, clear, and perfect now. No allergic reaction!

Thanks SKii and hope that this effect will last forever!

This product is meant to be a makeup remover. You apply this across your face, massage it gently then remove it with a damp cotton pad. It is oil-based, texture wise, a lil like Vaseline but softer.

I have to say that it effectively removes all traces of makeup (even waterproof mascaras YAy!). However, it takes some time for the make up to 'dilute', and can be a bit messy.

Initially while using it, i thought this was too oily. After sometime, i noticed that my skin is more moisturised, in the sense it does not usually get dry after cleansing.

however, for the PRICE....... you can easily get a drugstore makeup remover at a fraction of this price.

I got this free as a loyalty customer. The texture is very nice to apply on the face and to massage into the skin. The effectiveness? I found it did nothing to my skin, my skin just felt oily after washing the gel off.

I don't see any difference in this compared to my cheap Pond's Cold cream. I used the entire jar of this cleansing gel, and I honestly am quite disgusted by its performance. I recently stumbled upon a similar product called Love Renaissance Verdi. It also has a cleansing gel, it has squalane (shark liver); ONE single use and my complexion is soft and lighter in tone. I was totally taken back by it's immediate effectiveness. Even though is is much more expensive that the SKII cleansing gel, I am putting my stock there from now on! You should see my face now, it's near to perfection. And I am a chronic pimple sufferer!

I think I'm an SK-II addict - I've got so many of their products, but I have to admit - they're very, very good to my skin. This isn't my favourite of their cleansers - I'm partial to their oil for make-up removal & foaming cleanser for my morning routine. However, when I've used a lighter foundation for my make-up (which is very rare) I do tend to reach for this instead of the oil (don't want to waste my precious cleansing oil if I don't have to).

I don't actually like how slimey this feels on my fingers or my face but I must admit it removes light make-up really easily & quickly, especially with the help of a make-up removing sponge or face washer. My face tends to feel like it's got gel residue on it after I use it though (& that's even with a thorough rinse off), but that tends to subside once I've applied my toner.

Not my favourite make-up remover, however, if you were wanting to try an SK-II make-up remover & didn't want to try the oil cause it's too different, the gel may suit you - I just have an aversion to things that feel slimey to my fingers; but as I've said - it does remove light make-up quite well. Oh, I also can't use this on my eye area (don't think you're meant to though) as my eyes are too sensitive.

I've used this cleanser for a little over a week (got a sample to try out). First reaction on the first day was - Ew! It's like putting petroleum jelly on your face and rubbing it all over. Very, very weird. Honestly, I was surprised that this stuff washed right off. My skin wasn't greasy at all afterward. It was nicely moisturized and felt smooth. I really liked it. So, then I went online and looked at the price of the full sized product.

WOW - $55 for a facial cleanser? Even if I loved this product, I wouldn't spend $55 on it. Will enjoy my sample while it lasts and go back to my cheaper - works just as well - cleanser.

UPDATE - OK, It's been a month and I really, really love this cleanser. I splurged and bought a full sized one online. I only use it at night - to make it last a little longer. I've been spoiled.

Excellent product from SK II. Yes this is expensive but it lasts and it is effective. I have used a whole jar and it effectively removes make up and makes my skin look younger, clearer and firmer.

This make-up remover is good to use on face, but I don't like to use it for removing eye make-up. I will not buy it, because I prefer oils and liquids for removing make-up. And it's too expensive.
