I really do love the Sally Girl single shadows, they are awesome quality for such a great price & Golden Bronze is just what the name states it is.. Ive reviewed the shadows overall so check out my other reviews but onto my review...
=PRICE & AVAILABILITY=
The Sally Girl single shadows can be found exclusively at Sally Beauty Supply Stores or online at sallybeauty supply website. My local stores carry most of the shades so you may have to look in several to find a particular shade or find them online. These singles are only $1 well 99cents so yes, less than $1 or its 97cents if you have the Sally card. Either way, its so worth every penny you use!
=SHADE & FORMULA & PERFORMANCE=
Golden Bronze is a nice medium toned bronze brown w/ golden undertone. very beautiful. It does have a slight shimmer throughout but theres no chunky mess of glitter. Ive not seen any glitter fall out when i use this. Its a great midtone to own & add to looks. Can be used all over on lid for a nice soft look or add a darker shade in outer v for a more dramatic look. I use it alot since i have really pale skin but it shows up how it looks in the pan on my lid. Wow, its so nice. even if i use this on my lid paired w/ a thicker liner its great! On its own, these last on my lid for around 5-6 hrs with no fading. I dont experience much creasing since i have normal to dry lids but def use primer & maybe even a cream base. W/ primer and/or cream base, this shadow will stay put with no fading or creasing for over 8-9 hours, have to remove w/ wipe or makeup remover. I love the staying power. These single shadows are pressed pretty well. I do have a little tiny bit of loose powder in the pan after i tap my brush in them but the shadows are pressed nicely. the shadow is soft & applies well & blends well. They dont overblend or disappear. I think these are def better than some drugstore shadows i have bought. The formula is actually really nice alot better than what i was expecting! I love it & think is a really nice shadow. So if you are looking for another great browny bronze shadow to add to your collection (theyre my favorite shadows colors but i have alot & Golden Bronze is very pretty. Its a staple color that you will get use out of.
=PACKAGING=
The Sally Girl single shadows are rather unique meaning they are meant to be slid or connect together so that you can create your own custom trio or compact. The shadows come in a hard plastic square compact that snap shut or open. The lid has a lip almost that will allow you to slide it onto the next shadow. Its so hard to explain so i hope you understand. The bottom is black shiny plastic with a sticker w/ logo/name shade/ info on back. The top snap lid is see thru w/ small logo so you can see which shadow is inside. Nice if you have more than 1. The plastic is sturdy so they will go safely in makeup or travel bags. Great for on the go since they are about 3 inches big. They are def bigger than a quarter. The shadow pan takes up the whole compact. no excess packaging. The pan runs pretty deep so you get alot of shadow esp for the price. I have used these alot & have yet hit pan on any of them. They do give you alot of shadow. I love it. Be careful not to nick the shadow when opening or closing the lid. Great concept that you can connect as many as you want together. you can pair whatever shadows you like for any certain eye look. cant believe these are only $1
Overall, Golden Bronze is an amazing shade that i use alot & def love. Great on its own or added to any look. Can be sheered out or built up. Its not a dark shade. I love it! i will def repurchase if i ever get thru this. you get alot of shadow but i can def repurchase for the price. I love it & def think these are well worth it. I think Golden Bronze is a great shade to add to your collection.

I am not too impressed with this...The pigmentation is weak. It is is powdery and doesn't always apply evenly. It also doesn't last long too. Its fine to use for someone who is just beginning and wants something subtle...

Again, like my review on SG Champagne... these reviews make me scratch my head and wonder how people came up with these glowing reviews on this product. This is garbage, ladies... G_A_R_B_A_G_E!
They charge 99¢ for these cheapy eyeshadows because that's about all they're worth, and not a penny more! Someone compared this one, Golden Bronze, to MAC Patina... and I would have to thank God that MAC Patina is an inanimate object and doesn't have eyes.. .because if it saw the comparison? It would drop dead from the offense! I happen to have Patina, and I swatched these side by side. Not only are they too different browns (Patina is more cool taupe w/ a sheen to it, Golden Bronze is more of a warm, flat brown), but I had to swatch Golden Bronze THREE times before I got the color to show up next to Patina in order to compare them. Can you say, "NO PIGMENTATION?" These Sally Girl eyeshadows are in no way comparable to high-end eyeshadows... NO. WAY. What they are is chalky, cheap, poorly-pigmented, made-in-China junk similar to the cheapy eyeshadows they sell in Claire's and Dollar Stores. I know they are only 99¢... but I still would advise not wasting even that much on these. Save a couple more dollars and buy Maybelline, Revlon, Cover Girl, NYX, or L'Oreal if you want affordable eyeshadow that you can actually see on your lids. I packed this on over primer using my MAC 252 brush... and all I could see when I was finished making up my eyes was my eyeliner and mascara. This SG Golden Bronze was non-existent. This was truly my experience, and it was obviously not a good one. I don't recommend these.

Really decent neutral eyeshadow! I use it as my everyday lid color..It looks neutral enough for everyday wear, but is just shimmery enough my eyes are more noticeable than without. I noticed just a little bit of creasing by the end of my day, but not enough to dock a lippie. My lids are oily by then, it's only expected..Plus I'm not using any base or anything. So yes, GREAT buy for just $0.99...Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants a simple neutral look. =)

As a MAC lover, I was hesitant to purchase this e/s, but who could resist, the price. Golden Bronze is similar to MACs patina e/s. I love this color and I paired it today using NYX Jumbo pencil in iced mocha as a base, G.B on top with MAC bronze in the crease and MAC reflects antiqued gold patted on the lid area. This is such a nice nude look that stands out w/o being OTT. I am going back to purchase more Sally Girl e/s. *****************************************UPDATE: I am currently using this es along with MAC Cork to fill in my eye brows. Both of these shades really give me a subtle look.

I'm of a dark bronze African American complexion and this is beautiful against my skin. It highlights my eye area without making it look too obvious that I am wearing eyeshadow.

This is a color I wear almost everyday. I'm olive toned and it is taupe tan shade that is just a little lighter than I am. It gives my eyes a pop and I use Mac Corduroy in the crease but there are other Sally Girl browns that would work equally as well. I use the Onyx with a wet tipped brush as eye liner. Love Sally Girl products. The colors are very pretty and at $.99 each, you can't beat the price.

what a gorgeous shade! this reminds my of my Mark e/s in Tiki both in color and texture! it is just like the name a golden bronze shade in a satin finish. the texture is SUPER creamy. definitely recommended to try out! great for a natural crease color!
