this lotion is so amazing... I actually got the bottle that has the silk ribbons, and i loved it. I got it out of my purse at softball one day, to lotion up before a game, and all the girls ended up using it and LOVING it... so much so that we used the whole bottle that day (it was an all day tournament). It feels so good, it goes on nice and smoothe and it makes your body feel like butter. A while ago- I used to think that gold bond only had some weird foot powder that my dad would use... I was so wrong- they have awesome lotions, and they also have really good body washes that smell amazing! I would and already have bought this product again! I use it daily after the shower.

Love this product for the winter months. I use this before bed on my whole body..especially my legs, feet and hands which get so dry during the winter. I have gone through three bottles so far and just bought another one. Shea butter is great for ur skins and this product has tons of other great ingredients to keep you moisturized too. My skin use to get white and flaky but this has eliminated that. I love how thick and smooth this product is. It feels so good on my skin and I dont really get much of a smell. I'd buy this product over and over.

I have the cream in the tube and it is most definitely an HG cream. Whatever you put it on stays so soft and moisturized. It's a cushiony feeling product really. I love it. Sinks right in and is not greasy and the scent is soft. Wonderful product. Will buy more, much much more! :-)

This is by far the best lotion Ive ever used, even better than any of the more designer brand lotions and hand creams. As a few people have said it doesnt have the best scent, but really who cares, its does what it promises it will do. Its not greasy and it leaves you feeling very naturally moisturized. Almost like you were just born w/ soft skin. Every person who has ever asked to borrow lotion from me has commented on how much they like it. This is the only lotion I buy.

Nice packaging, and you get a good amount for what it costs, but I can't stand the way this smells once it gets on my hands. I also find it to be thick and gloppy. Much prefer the Eucerin Original pump lotion for legs and body.

I'm a big fan of the Gold Bond lotions because to me, they were among the first to really do what they promise. I have used this Gold bond softening lotion on my hands since the formulation was introduced a few years ago, and I consistently see really good results. My only criticism is the scent. While I love the scents of the other Gold Bond lotions, I wish they would do something about the softening lotion. Although admittedly, the scent does not last long, it smells like a bucket of old pine sol after mopping. Ugh...BUT, I put up with it because it works. However, I would use this product more if I didn't have to put up with the fragrance.

LOVE!!! Seriously this lotion rocks! When you first apply it it feels okay but then it turns sticky and you start to think it sucks.. but then 5 minutes later it leaves a soft powdery finish on your skin! Feels amazing. Definitely going to repurchase.

I buy this in the tubes. It's easier to get everything out. It has good antioxidants A C and E and urea to help cells turnover. I use this only on my hands. It keeps them so silky and gorgeously soft. Right on par with my crabtree and Evelyn la source cream . The only bad thing is it doesn't last through washes. But that's fine i have no problems re applying. My biggest issue is lack of spf

First things first...I live in Maine. Winters are cold & long here. Skin takes a serious beating! My hands are ALWAYS an embarrassment to me...cracked, peeling cuticles, dry patches, etc. I think I've tried every highly recommended hand cream out there (eucerin, aquaphor, neutrogena, vaseline creamy vaseline, bag balm, just to name a few). Some creams worked better than others and would provide a bit of relief, but this stuff is the best, hands down (pun intended). I use it after washing my hands and before bed and it has made a noticeable difference in the everyday feel/appearance of my skin. It isn't greasy or tacky -- it just leaves my hands comfortable and ultra-soft. I don't mind paying a bit more if something actually works, which is why I will happily shell out 10 bucks to replace my tube once it runs out. It's been such a wonderful relief to find this product -- thanks to MUA!

This is the best lotion I've ever used. Normally in the winter I use Kiehls Creme de Corps but decided to try this instead and I like it so much more. It's a super thick lotion but very moisturizing and absorbs into your skin quickly. It might be a little heavy for warmer months but there are some lighter weight versions in the product line. A little expensive for a drug store lotion (10-12$ depending on the store) but Target sells it for $7 and there are usually coupons for $1 on the Gold Bond website. The bottle only lasts me about three weeks so I try to stock up when I can find it on sale.

Nice! I've been using this for a few weeks in lieu of my usual go-to lotion, Aveeno Daily Moisturizing. I felt this lotion helped my hands retain a bit more moisture than Aveeno did. It's a bit thicker than most lotions but rubs right in with no greasiness. I used this on my hands mostly at night (I wash my hands often during the day) and woke up each morning with soft, moisturized hands. Also applied this to my shoulders (driest part of my body) in conjunction with the matching Gold Bond body wash, and was left with soft, smooth skin. Have to say, I'm very impressed and may switch to this from Aveeno.

This lotion reminds me of the old formula of Bliss's body butter, which sank into my hands and left them feeling soft and powdery. The lotion is very thick and it has a faint, almost flowery scent that I can only smell if I purposefully smell my hands. It takes a smidgen longer to work into my hands, but the results are noticeably soft skin without a clammy, sticky, or oily aftereffect. For all but the driest hands, this lotion is likely too heavy for summer months, but works wonderfully in the cold, winter months.

I was on a hunt for a good body lotion as I was tired of buying, trying and wasting time and money. So I got on the web and looked up "How to find a good moisturizer" I read what it said about a good product having certain ingredients to be moisturizing. I wrote them down and went shopping and was surprised that Gold Bond was one of a VERY few that had these ingredients and by comparison was cheaper than the ones that did. I bought it, used it, and I will never use anything else! It's long lasting, smells good and moisturizes well. Love it!

Seriously good stuff! I used to like Palmer's, Curel, etc. but this blows everything else out of the water. Very emollient without being greasy. Great on hands, feet, elbows. Somewhat pricy, but worth it. Will definitely rebuy.

Wow, another fail from Gold Bond in the lotion department! I really, really don't understand all the love. I keep trying this stuff because of all the rave reviews (several different kinds of Gold Bond) and it always ends up leaving my skin feeling horribly itchy and does not hold in any moisture. Not to mention all the fragrance is so bad for my sensitive skin (and nose). I will stick with my CeraVe or Eucerin hand lotion (greenish cap). Seriously, as I type, my hands are ITCHING! I don't know what they put in this lotion that aggrevates my skin so bad, but I need to avoid all Gold Bond lotions I think.

In the dry Denver climate, this is a lifesaver. It's so thick but it absorbs quickly and moisturizes for a really long time. The scent is mild but very fresh and nice. I have one bottle at work and one at home. It's expensive for a drugstore brand but incredibly worth it.

Like the previous reviewer, I'm very picky with body lotions as well. I've tried lotions from $1-$40 and nothing came close to Gold Bond w/ Shea Butter. Just because they sell this in drugstores doesn't mean it's inexpensive. Expect to pay around $10 for this. The packaging is bland and there is nothing flashy about it. But, what matters is the lotion itself. The texture is very thick but easy to work with. The scent is a generic floral yet mild. The feel hits the nail on the head----No Greasiness! Skin remains smooth, soft and moisturized without being coated with that typical lotion sticky feel. The staying power of this is amazing! I apply it at night after showering and it lasts right up to the next night's shower without needing to reapply. This is a great drugstore find that I highly recommend.
