I found that this broke me out so badly due to the seaweed (algae) extract. It being the first ingredient stated on the ingredient list, I researched and found that it has an intense level in clogging pores up. This product made me break out for about 2 weeks in a row. This product is not for me but may be a holy grail for other skin types.

This must be my favorite product in the La Mer line. It really hydrates the skin and gives it a nice glow. The smell is very nice too..

I use it after cleansing and before my moisturizer and my skin is looking very nice and fresh all day.

I use alot of La Mer products so thought I would add this to my routine. It did nothing for me. My skin actually started flaking after use which doesn't make sense.

this is lighter than a serum and feels refreshing on the skin. it does add moisture and seems to make moisturizers work better. it's overpriced but lasts a long time.

Since i've purchased this lotion i could see huges benefits from the cream. It locks the moisture on the skin and last for hours keeping it moist and radiante. This lotion can be used with any other moisturiser even if its not from the La Mer range.

WOW...amazing ! Just got back from a holiday in Spain, very hot and drying for my 40+ skin :(
I normally use La Prairie hydrating serum (blue bottle) but it did not work anymore. I ran into this one, tried it on my (dry suntanned) hand and instantly...my hand felt softer, less dry. Well I thought...what's good for my hand should do the same trick on my face and Yes, yes ....IT DID ! Love the way it feels like water, runny, but not too... not heavy at all, yet moisturises my skin very well and if you apply CDLM after this, it's great.Don't know how the combo is with the GDLM (gel) or moisturizing lotion, but I think it works great with those too. I have sensitive skin with T zone, for me this is it !!

Ok, so I absolutely love La Mer products. I was told that this was great for going on underneath creme de la mer and preps the skin to receive maximum benefits. After a couple of months using it I have just had to come to terms with the fact that it actually gives me pimples. At first I thought it was because I was using sk-ii facial treatment essence but then I stopped and I am still getting pimples, mainly on my cheeks. To be honest, not taking into account the whole breakout thing, your money would be better spent on other La Mer products. It feels hydrating when it goes on, but I really don't think it does anything and I really hate to say that because I love La Mer so much and will continue to use their products for years and years to come. This was recommended for me because I am still young and my only real concern at the moment is keeping my skin hydrated to prevent premature ageing. I'm just going to continue using the facial treatment essence underneath creme de la mer.

This and my clarisonic have saved my skin during this pregnancy. I am acne prone and before my pregnancy was used to using salicylic acid, glycolic acid, etc to combat my acne. Since I became pregnant , had to to kick some of those chemicals to the curb. =( Long story short, I broke out terribly. The only thing that has saved me is the Hydrating Infusion and my Clarisonic/Purity combo. It has evened out my skintone and stopped me from breaking out almost completely. Which is more than I can say from when I was using all these acids, peels, and masks.

I use 2 pumps in the morning , and 2 pumps at night to cover my face and neck. I like to smooth this over my skin completely then use my palms to press it into my skin. ( Its like a mini massage) Have had my bottle for 2 months now and have only used a little more than a quarter of the bottle.

I have used CDLM before , but it was way to oily and so I gave up on the La Mer brand, but this Infusion completely makes me want to try other things within their company.

I have recently been a La Mer convert and still getting used to the amazing results from it. I decided to try this on recommendation from Thesublimeagent on youtube. This was one of his fav products and since he is a skin care guru, I just bought it along with Gel de La Mer(GDLM). This product is ideal for people who have parched, dry, flaky, peeling skin like myself. What it does is that it prepares your skin for the next step, which is heavy duty moisturizer, like CDLM. Think about it this way -- and I am quoting Thesublimeagent here-- a damp sponge will absorb more liquid than a dry one. This product dampens the skin just enough for extreme hydration.

For someone like me, I don't use any kind of soap on my face and yet by the time I step out of shower and make to the mirror, I feel my skin pulling around the jaw line. I mean it is THAT dry. If I were to put G/CDLM on my skin without this step, it would just sit on top of my face and never soak in and I'd look like a grease-ball. This hydrates my skin just enough to prepare it for what's coming next.

I pat dry my face, squirt a pump of this and apply it. It has a watery gel like consistency. It dries in a minute and then I am ready for my serum or G/CDLM. In summer I think on hot humid days this alone could be enough for many people. I like the pump packaging as anything else would have been too messy. I also think that $95 for 4 oz of any La Mer product is pretty good. I have been using 2 pumps twice for little over a month and it is about 1/4th gone. It will last me at least 4 months with this kinda heavy usage. 6-8 months for most users.

I think La Mer is an exceptional skincare line, especially when it comes to moisturizers. Many people look just at the price tag and stay away but they don't consider the cost of product hopping, breakouts, returns, time wasted. They are on eternal hunt for something that is awesome yet cheap. If it existed then there would be BMW's selling for the price of Camry and Macs selling for HP price. I am at a point in my life where my time is VERY valuable and product hunting, trial and error doesn't get me excited. I'd like something that delivers what it promised and simply work & La Mer is it.

I really liked this product. Im not sure whether it hydrates me better (need a skin consultation) but it feels divine on my face. It absorbs quickly and I certainly believe it makes my skin clearer and even toned. I have used half of the 125ml bottle and would buy it again. Probably the only item i like out of the la mer line - do not like the creme de la mer.

Bought this together with the radiant infusion and used it to alternate with the radiant infusion before application of the lifting serum/ whitening essence. I use the hydrating infusion before the lifting serum at night and radiant infusion before the whitening essence in the day. No difference to my skin whether or not the infusion was applied. Conclusion: save your money and do without the infusion. It's a gimmick.

I bought this as my skin turned dry after my delivery & winter was coming. I tried & finished the Radiant Infusion before (works great!!; highly recommended for pore-minimizing effect & for general radiant complexion) considering trying this new product. The texture is more diluted than the Radiant Infusion but it absorbs onto the skin much faster. I was expecting the same miracle, in this case, hydrating effect, but no sirree, this was not the case. In fact, i didn't see any hydrating effect at all. My skin looks matte after application & have no significant effect at all. I treat it as toner. It does however, make applying the La Mer cream a smoother process. Perhaps it works best within the La Mer line only? The full-size can lasts up to 6-7 months though. Should consider trying the sample size of a generous 15ml before getting this full-size one (125ml). Will not repurchase.

To be honest, my first reaction to the product is that I didn’t notice too much of a difference, or I couldn’t tell; that’s until I moved from a dry climate (az) to a cold climate (ia) and my skin just went crazy. I had breakouts (which I’ve never had that problem growing up) and my skin became extremely dry & flaky (again, never had that problem previously) so I was desperate in searching for skincare products to hydrate my face as my current skincare products were just too light and not hydrating enough. I revisited the La Mer the Hydrating Infusion and I have to say this and the Dermalogica Professional Skin Smoothing Cream saved my skin! It really does hydrate, at least on my skin and I feel it preps for my moisturizer. It is extremely pricey but this is a high-end beauty product, so yes it does hurt the pocket book a bit. I am extremely happy for what it has done to repair my skin but I’m a beauty junkie & always looking for the next best thing so if there is a dupe, I’m willing to try but I haven’t found one yet unfortunately so I’ll have to shell out the $95 for the product to maintain my skin. It’s still healing, but I think I’ve managed to get my skin to somewhat of its original state. It’s a hit & miss product, either it works or it doesn’t but like I said, I hadn’t really appreciated the product until my skin went haywire.
I think TheSublimeAgent does a pretty good review if you want to check it out on youtube.

I agree with the reviewer below, I too hate this product. It was a complete waste of money imo. It didn't hydrate my skin at all, in fact it seemed to make it more dry than ever. I wished I'd got a sample before I bought the full bottle.

Love this product! The hydrating infusion locks in the CDLM and also is very refreshing to my sensitive, dry and reactive skin. It doesn't irritate and best of all the liquid sinks right into the skin and doesn't leave a residue.

I received a large sample of this and, having used the entire bottle (which has lasted for months), can say that I'm very pleased with it. It does seem to increase and hold the moisture in my skin, and it does make whatever form of La Mer you use over it (creme, creme-gel, or lotion) moisturize more effectively. I can truly see a difference in the texture and feel of my skin when I use it and when I don't. The texture is light and nonsticky, and it absorbs immediately--no waiting around to apply moisturizer. I'm going to try a sample of SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel that my aesthetician gave me before I buy, but I do find this product purchase-worthy.

I think this product is only mediocre. I don't feel like it does anything to my skin after applying it. I've tried better and less expensive product that really leaves my skin hydrated like Nars Aqua Gel. I'm a devoted fan to La Mer's Moisturizer but other than the moisturizer and the eye cream, everything is only so-so to me from this line.

I think this may now be my favorite La Mer product. It really hydrates the skin and helps the CDLM go on easily and you're able to use less. I decided to buy this because I'm on some prescription acne medication that was drying my skin out and I wanted to boost the effects of teh CDLM without slathering it on (cuz it's expensive). This fit my need, one squirt is all I need to set a good base before I put the moisturizer on and it keeps my skin moisturized and luminous all day.

Got this as a free sample and was amazed at the results. I had developed some extremely dry, peeling areas on my face. My normal CDLM wasn't doing enough to ease it. The hydrating infusion, under my CDLM, took care of it within 24 hours. I'm sold. The results were rather remarkable, actually. I keep waiting for the dryness to come back, but it hasn't. I'll definitely be purchasing a bottle when my generous sample runs out. As others have noted, a tiny bit of this goes a long way.
