i love this. i've had it for quite a while & just started using this. it is very inexpensive for a 16-oz bottle and very moisturizing. when i run out (which won't be for a while, i'm sure) i plan on repurchasing. i love that its 93% natural:) the only thing i'm not sure about is if this is suitable to use on my face, as i have some dry patches. amazing lotion though! my hg!!

I would give this a 4.5 lippie if i could. It smells soft and delicious without actually having any FOOD aroma( i.e. vanilla, coconut...etc.. ). It absorbs quickly, is not oily and does not irritate the skin. I apply it just once after my daily shower. I have only removed half a lippie because i believe it might be too light for the harsh winter weathers.
I have also tried the NATURALS HYDRATE lotion and i prefer the SOOTHING one more.

This does the job for moisturizing, and it doesn't irritate my skin. My only issue with this is that the consistency is a bit thin, and takes a bit longer to rub in. However, considering how cheap it is, this is very good if you're on a budget. It also makes my skin feel nice, and soft.

I'm not sure what the original price of this is but I found this on sale at a grocery store for 3 bucks. Pretty good I must say. I Love this lotion especially after showers. I didn't realize how thirsty my skin was until it soaked it this all in! I read that it contains chamomile which relieves and quiets skin irritation so I applied this to my face which is currently rough itchy splotchy mess due to some allergy I'm trying to get to the bottom of! I believe this is helping a great deal :)

P.S. I actually think that Mary Kay timewise moisturizer may be the culprit to my new skin irritation.

I love this! Even better than Aveeno for soothing and moisturizing. Smells good and sinks right in without feeling greasy or sticky. Fabulous for itchy dry winter skin.
They were out of it at Walgreens, so I have the Renewing lotion instead right now. If I find it again, I will certainly repurchase.

I tried a sample packet of this lotion and absolutely loved it! And of course I can't find it anywhere. The stores in my area carry the new versions of the Hydrating and Renew lotions, but not the other 2 :(

This lotion left my skin soft and soothed. It went on easily, soaked in quickly, and didn't feel sticky. The scent is so soft and hardly noticeable. I have easily irritated skin and this stuff didn't cause any irritation at all, even after shaving. Absolutely in love, and will be looking for the updated version of this until I find it!

Finally found some! At a random Target. It was on sale and it rang up even less at the register. Had I known this, I would have gotten another bottle, which I plan to do very soon. I don't think I've ever liked a moisturizer this much, there's always something off about them, but I hope to never be without this. The huge bottles will last forever. I know they redid the bottle and tweaked the formula a tad, but I can't find that version anywhere, so I'll just have a back up of this one :)

First off, I'm not too picky about body lotion... as long as it moisturizes, doesn't irritate my skin, and smells good, it's a good lotion in my book. For me, it is a gigantic plus that this lotion is 93% natural. I try to use natural products as much as I can, on a college student budget haha. But this lotion does all the things I mentioned earlier. At first, I thought the smell was a little different, but it grew on me really quickly! Now when I put this lotion on, I can feel myself relaxing because of the smell. It moisturizes really well without being too heavy or taking long to sink in. Great product!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this, my HG body lotion. Love how it glides on and love the scent. I almost want to eat it. However, I recently cannot find it anywhere, it's not out of stock; it's simply no longer stocked in the Target/Walmart in my area. The mfr told me it has been changed to "Soothing Soft" in 2009 and upped its natural ingredients percentage to 96%. But still cannot find it anywhere. Please PM me if you know; I'm in SoCal.

This is a nice, moisturizing, soothing body lotion that is especially pleasant to use on legs after shaving. However, although the fragrance is soft, I'm not really a fan of it--it's a cloying sweet smell. I would find this product more soothing if it were fragrance free.

I received a little sample packet of this lotion.

PROS: Smells absolutely amazing! Fairly inexpensive ($7 for 16.8 fl oz). Natural. No greasy feel.
CONS: Isn't quite as thick as I'd like. Doesn't leave my skin feeling as moisturized as I'd like.

Overall, I'd be willing to buy this product and give it a try and see what long term daily use with this product can do. The smell is just that fabulous!

Now, this whole line of lotions really makes me happy! HG all the way for the two I've tried! This summer I finished out a whole bottle of the "Refresh" on my own because I would use it after every shower (and I shower every other day) and then a few times a day on my hands. I liked Refresh, but when I went to Target a week or so ago to buy a new bottle I saw that they were all out.

Honestly I gravitated towards "Soothe" because of the scent. My skin is sensitive but fairly normal. Most traditional products do make it break out in a rash. As such I have been using the most natural products possible without parabens, preservatives and artificial ingredients, for at least three years. It is nice that a mainstream brand like Jergens is jumping on the bandwagon... as it is affordable, easily available and comes in a huge bottle.

I think I like Soothe better than Refresh, as the smell is less obtrusive and more comforting for fall and winter. The texture of it is nicer on my skin (not that I had any bit of a problem before) and it tends to absorb better. All around it's really, really amazing.

However, I noticed that Jergens is now owned by Kao, which has gotten chastised for openly conducting animal testing in the past. I've been trying to figure out whether Kao has recently passed a ban on testing, but so far their answers are inconclusive. While Jergens may not animal test, I still consider it unethical to buy from them if they are owned by a parent company that is NOT cruelty free.

It makes me sad, seeing as I really love this lotion and it's one of the few that works with my skin well! But I guess my morals just get in the way of beauty... if it turns out that Kao is still being mean and barbaric, I will finish out this bottle and start a fresh search for a new HG body lotion.

Like all the previous reviews, I like the light scent and how it is so easily absorbed into my skin. I usually use it after a shower and I only have to wait about 30 seconds before I can walk around (without thinking that I'm getting lotion all over the carpet or my socks). I also love that there's a pump. All my previous lotions were squeeze tubes or tubs.

I ran into work tonight because I had to buy some new lotion. I had completely ran out of everything at home! I was looking for something somewhat inexpensive but still worked excellent. I noticed we had the Jergens Soothe on clearance. I figured what the heck! It was clearanced for 4.19, plus right now we have $2 dollar off coupons on Jergens products. I joked with my hubby that I'll probably absolutely love this stuff and now we won't be selling it anymore. Boo!

This stuff works perfectly! I got sunburned today and this lotion feels heavenly! Not greasy, absorbs super quick and the scent is lovely.

I really like the Naturals line - the scent of this lotion is subtle and very nice. I have sensitive skin and this has caused zero problems. I like that it's 93% natural and it does a super job of moisturizing. I will definitely repurchase. it's one of my staples now.

I bought this because it was highly rated here. This product does not disappoint. It smells soooooo good. The light smell of chamoille (sp?) flowers and lavendar flowers is enough to make any female want this product. When you put it on it moisturizes without leaving an oily layer. The price is very good. The only thing I'd like to see as an improvement is the pump. Some pumps close when you turn it e.g. Eucerin Daily. This one just stays open which can be worrisome if you should accidentally knock it over. Other than that I'd definitely buy it again. It smells so good and is so soothing.

Great moisturizer!I don't like the scent but it is subtle, doesn't interfere w/my fragrance. Good moisture & very soothing! Absorbs very quickly and leaves my skin soft, not greasy. This is one of the few lotions that I can apply immediately after shaving w/out causing irritation. The packaging is good (even better now that I found a larger size w/a pump) & the price is very good!

I was skeptical about these new Jergens lotions but I saw it in the grocery store with a $2 coupon, and it was already on sale so I got it for $2.50. I'm sure glad I gave this a try, this is the only lotion that really calms my sensitive skin AND I've noticed my skin tone is more even and less red. The scent is nice and light too. I will definitely buy this all winter.
