This is my favorite eyeliner because it is not over $20, yet has the power and quality that exceeds most other expensive brands. I bought this while I was in Japan and the best thing about this liner is that it doesn't smudge or smear at all, but it comes off soooo easily with warm water!!!! Amazing stuff. The tip is not felt, it is a brush but it is so thin and finely made, that it doesn't bother me at all when I draw a thin line. I've been using the same eyeliner for about 6 months and I can tell it is slowly losing it's quality and running out of product. Also, it doesn't stay on as long as it used to. I went out dancing last week and by 4am, my eyes were black from smearing :( But I still think this eyeliner is the best quality eyeliner out there, especially for Asians with single eyelids like me. Also, I have sensitive skin, so I can't use a lot of brands- they make my eyes puffy, but this is so skin friendly!!!

I was looking for a good eyeliner pen and apparently, this brand released a limited edition brown coloured one. I didn't manage to find the brown one anywhere in Singapore, so when the SO had a business trip, he was tasked to see if he could come back with one for me.
Alas, he too failed but he purchased the one in black for me.
This eyeliner is ultra black from stroke one (I find that w/ my Kanebo KATE super sharp eyeliner, I have to layer it on to get 'true black'. But not with Heroine Make Smooth).
When I remove the eyeliner, it usually dissolves into flakes, so you still have to make sure you get all the pieces.

MY HG LIQUID EYELINER!! There were some reviews about how it wears off about after 4-5 hours but personally I wear it all the time, put this on in the morning, go to work, go to class, WORKOUT at the gym (and trust me I sweat a LOT), and it's still pretty much perfect! It stays on great but it's still quite easy to wash off. The pen and its brush are both very thin which is great for precision! I'm not sure where else everyone gets it but I ordered mine off of ebay for about $12.I can go on and on about it but bottom line is this is seriously something you MUST TRY.

i m very qualified to write this review. die-hearted fans here. it will not smedge even u dont take your makeup off overnight. (i do not remove makeup and sleep when i was at 21 or 22). i have been buying this pen for 5 times already. it would run out of stock in hong kong cosmetic store sasa, and also run out online, so i stock up now! this is the reliable, low cost, ultra black, ultra waterproof eyeliner. you need some time to get use to drawing a perfect line. and please get a wet, new one when it turns dry.

I recently switched from pencil liner to liquid eyeliner. I always thought liquid eyeliner was too intense but if you draw a thinner line, it's not too intense for day time. I have used other liquid eyeliners that faded or turned blue/gray after a few hours. This liner stays true black all day long and does not smudge. Even my favorite waterproof pencil eyeliners smudged but with this liquid eyeliner, I don't even worry about it smudging, it does not budge until I remove it with makeup remover.

This is my HG!
Sweat-proof & smudge-proof. My eyes tends to water a lot but this doesn't irritate my eyes at all. Color payoff is great, this is very black. Tip is soft & easy to apply with.
This is easy to remove too, doesn't leave a grey line behind like the K-Palette does on me.

This eyeliner fades by lunchtime but I would buy it again and again because the brush is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
I suck at drawing with liquid eyeliner.I use gel and mostly pencil liners and I could never do the cateye flick.
So I bought this because I needed a pick-me-up and it was on discount. The first time I lined my eyes with this ,I was like"Hold on,what's going on here?".My hand was very comfortable holding this pen and drawing the line smoothly.I didn't need to put my elbow on the table to steady my hand.
I thought maybe I was never bad at using liquid eyeliner. So I picked an old liquid eyeliner to use and nope,I still suck.
I could finally do cat eyeliner with this pen.*Dies happy*.Since touching up is so easy,I don't even care that it lasts only 4/5 hrs.

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST EYELINER I HAVE EVER USED!!! I'm one of those people who cannot go out without eyeliner. I have tried Bobbi brown gel eyeliner, Maybeline gel eyeliner, Kate liquid eyeliner, Clinique liquid eyeliner, The Body Shop liquid eyeliner and this one. I use liquid because its more precise and doesnt smudge like pencil. The price is very very good for the quality.
What i LOVE about this product is that even though the tip is very thin, it is extremely easy to control, kind of like a pen (you can even use it as a pen but i think thats a huge waste). I have found that some liquid liners are very hard to control and take lot of practice. But this one is just amazing. The colour is very nice too, the Clinique one i found that i had to build on the colour as its not as pigmented. It is also waterproof. Waterproof means it stays on if theres a little water. This eyeliner stays on if you only cry a little. If your tears keep dropping then i think any eyeliner would start to come off (coz this one can be removed with warm water). The packaging is very pretty. Compared to the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner, I would prefer this one because of the price.

I just realized I never wrote a review for this after I wrote about a dupe of this! This is one of my HG liners and is extremely easy to use. I definitely recommend it as the best liquid liner to use, especially for beginners. The thin Japanese brush-style pen is easy to control and hard to makes mistakes with. I always stock up on this whenever I am given the chance :)

This product works really well. The colour glides on smoothly and I've been using it for months and the tip has not dried out yet! The colour is also very intense. Compared to the M.A.C., this product is totally worth every cents.

This is one of my HG eyeliners. I have very oily eyelid, so most of eyeliner fade off very quickly. But this one can keep at least 5 hours... MAC's ones only can stay on my eyelids only half an hour...
This one is also very easy to be controlled...
Highly recommend!!!

Great liquid eyeliner!! The tip of the brush is thin enough to create a smooth and clean line; doesn't smudge and lasts all day. I use this daily :)

I normally think liquid eyeliners are too harsh for day time use. However, after buying this eyeliner, I use it DAILY. It's an excellent all around product which draws precise and beautiful eyeliners every single time. I have it for about half a year and it still has not dried up yet. Already bought a back up. Will be purchasing again again and again.

Great cheap eyeliner with an incredibly fine point, dries quickly, and is a deep enough black to show up and not look faded. Unfortunately there was a lot of bleeding, but I think that's more of my eyelids' fault as EVERY liquid liner I've tried does this. Time to switch to gel liners.

It has a firm tip which makes applying eyeliner so much easier. It leave a matt finish and doesnt smudge for the whole day. It lasts me more than 4 months. My only complain is that it is not water proof. If I cry, it will smear. But compared to other liquid eyeliners, it is a relatively good one.

I tend to use pencil liner more than liquid, because i like a smudgier less precise line.
However since buying this I wear it all the time because:
-the brush is super thin, so you do a very thin line, but it's also easy to do a cat eye or thicker line.
(it's nicer than the majolica neo automatic liners that were so popular a few years back)
-this is not a click-pen. i don't like click pen products because they always dispense too much product. This is great because if the pen is dry, just lightly shake it and you have plenty of liner to use without it being too much
-the tube clicks shut very securely and you know it won't dry out
-the liner itself is easy to apply, dries quickly and stays put and it also is very easy to remove
-the price is reasonable, even if you have to order it online
I have no complaints about this product at all and will be repurchasing when I run out!
update- just wanted to add I use this all the time and it's still my favorite. one pen lasts a long time too, even with regular use. It really completely changed me from using a smudgy pencil liner daily to using this, which is quite an accomplishment only a great product can achieve!

LOVE this product. Tip is super fine. Gives excellent/precise application. Color stays on my eyes SUPER wet. Formula isn't too wet like other eyeliner pens I've used. (Maybelline stiletto got into my eyes bigtime first time I used it, was a painful mess) Adorable packaging. Convenient for the purse or travel. Intense black color. Only cons are the limited availability in the US and the price.

I generally don't like liquid eyeliner. I can barely draw a straight line on paper, let alone on my eyelid! I had seen good reviews of this eyeliner online, so when I was in Taiwan I decided to buy it since it was cheap, and I wasn't disappointed. It's very easy to apply, goes on nice and smooth, and dries quickly. It lasts for quite a long time without smudging as well, but isn't too hard to remove either. Although I still tend to use my kohl eyeliners more, this is good for a simple look or when I need a wing tip look, etc.

I have oily, Asian eyes with the epicanthic fold starting from the inner corner of my eyes. What does that mean? It means that eyeliner does wonders for my eyeshape but because of the way my lid folds and the fact that they're oily after a few hours means that I can get my eyeliner on the inner half of my eyes smudged all over the top my lids where the fold meets and it gets pretty obvious when my eyes are closed. Depending on the eyeliner, I can rub it off or I can't.
Any ways, the main selling point to this eyeliner is it's tiny, tiny tip! I can draw a thin and tight line on my upper lid that won't smudge because it's so thin, but the pigment is visible enough to accentuate my eyes and give me the effect I need.
The brush tip isn't felt, it looks plastic honestly, but it's flexible when I need it to be without losing it's shape and sturdy enough to be extremely precise!
I wouldn't say it's waterproof though, as the first time I wore it I drew a little wing that disappeared about two hours. (I was constantly checking the mirror because I was so happy with my eyemakeup and I could see it fading away.) It's forgivable, though, since the line on my upper lids is still there at the end of the day, albeit faded from the morning's glory. I'll need to use another liner to draw a wing that'll stay until the end of the day.
One little quirk about this liner pen that bothers me is that I can't put the cap on at the back of the pen like I would with a normal ball pen. I'm terrified I'll drop it or lose it somewhere!

I really love this eyeliner. This gave me good practice drawing a line/wing on my lid. Very smooth application, makes perfect lines without anxiety or shaky hands! After finishing the product, I'm an expert with using liquid eyeliners. I will buy one again!
