I bought this lipstick a few weeks ago and it was love at first try. I was about to do a review right away but I decided to wait and try it out a bit. I have to say I'm glad I waited. I do like this lipstick and I will keep wearing it, but its definitely not a must-have. The colour (Rose & Shine) is a rosy nude with a "pearl finish." It looks great in the tube and in a swatch but I find when I apply it to my lips it's too pearly and it doesn't sit very well on dry lips. It's fairly long wearing and although it isn't moisturizing it isn't drying either. I like to top it with a gloss to even it out and make it look better if my lips are dry.

I love love love this color. it's probably my favorite lipstick I own. As other people have said, it is super natural looking if you are fair skinned. I can usually apply it and not blot it and it looks great. I like the finish, kind of shimmery, and it doesn't dry my lips out.

If you want natural looking color, this is it. This is light muted rose pink with hint of brown and subtle shimmer(in this pic it looks much brighter than it is). This would be universally flattering color for light to light/medium skin tones(I think its too light if you are darker than this). contrary to what several other reviewers said, I don't find it too shimmery(you can barely see shimmer) nor sheer(I think this is regular moisturizing lipstick, definately not sheer). My lips are already kind of rosy pink so this is just gives it more finished look. Natural but pretty. Very MLBB color. Most of the time, I prefer a brighter shade but if you want nude/natural lips or doing dramatic eye makeup, this is a winner.

Oh, so much love for this lipstick! My skin is VERY fair and my lips have a lot of color naturally so I have to be careful with lip colors. This shade is sheer and such a pretty tone and on my lips it just gives that little bit of "oompf" that I need/want for day. Its kind of a "MLBB" but not quite adding a lot more color. For me, its a very natural shade and will probably become my "go to" for my daily natural look. The formula is not drying and the amount of shimmer in the product is nice, more "glowy" and not "frosty".

Boring color that looks very natural but does nothing to elevate my look. Kind of a MLBML = my lips but my lips. Blah.

I'm a PPP. Light pink lippies are my signature colour, so I had to try this, light neutral rosey pink shade with a slight hint of brown especially since it mimick's my natural lip colour and enhances them. Great for a low key look. Love that's moisturizing, unscented and that the top is clear so I can select the right shade amongst all my other pinks in my collection. Wish it lasted longer. Would repurchase.

Too sheer and shimmery for me. No detectable color, just shimmer. Would not repurchase. I own and love Revlon lipsticks in other shades though, just not this one.
I am about NC42, medium-deep tanned skintone, so perhaps it has to do with my coloring. I do believe this would work for those with a lighter skintone.

I bought this as part of a 9 pack. Of all the 9 colours, i think i didnt like 3 of them, but the rest of them i really like! This one is gorgeous. its a warm dusky pink rose with a hint of brown. its a pearl finish so it has a shimmer finish, but its not overly shimmerly. This lipstick goes on sheer, and really looks great on me, because its MLBB. This would really suit fair to med skin tones. Im vietnamese and this looks lovely on me.I top it off with a revlon super lustrous lipgloss in nude lustre and it looks fab :) The only down point is it doesnt have the best staying power and its not that mositurising. It is also quite sheer but u can build it up. Love it, go buy it if your asian and you want a MLBB look.

Wow ! I just got this product at a local drug store for $5.00 and let me tell you this is one of those lip colors that anyone can use and you don't even need a mirror. Its fool proof ,very comfortable and the color is amazing .I have very pale skin color and red hair and this is just perfect.I would say that this is a "my lips but better" I 'll definitely repurchase if I ever run out .

This is my everyday lipstick. It is a great neutral pink that isn't nearly as frosty as other similar shades. It covers discoloration very well and actually leaves moisture in your lips for several hours, which is unusual for a drugstore lipstick. I love it. Fantastic buy.

I went to my local drugstore looking for Rimmel airy fairy which I've heard is a great neutral to wear with darker eye looks. Well, there was one tube of the rimmel left which had been smushed. :P I took that tube and compared it with similar colors from other brands and this revlon was the closest match. I was looking for something understated and this fits the bill perfectly. I'm wearing it today with dark, smokey taupe eyeshadow (fyrinnae sirloin of beef with fyr. newcastle blended in the crease) and it looks stunning. Just what I was looking for. If you want a more obvious lipstick, do not buy this for it's quite natural but if you want an everyday pink-based neutral you may love this.

I'm so surprised at all the lukewarm reviews!
Rose & Shine is my everyday lipstick-- It matches the "good colors" on my lips, and completely sucks out all of the purples ans blues.
Love, Love, Love!

I bought this as my first ever lipstick.
The color comes off alot more muted and light than seen in the tube almost like a gloss. However, the color is nice in itself. It leaves my lips a bit dry so I always have to keep on moisturizing which is annoying. The stay isn't that great so it's an average product.

Not a great color pay-off. On my lips, Rose & Shine looks a lot lighter than at first glance in the tube. The color I get is a light dusted rose. Lacks in the moisture department, too. So all around, this lipstick is nothing to get excited over.

I am very surprise with this new shade because somehow this doesn't have any scent to it which I like and the color is quite pretty on me. It's very sheer and moisturizing. I am thinking this is of different formula than some of the older shades from revlon super lustrous lipsticks. I love this one!

This is a medium rose in the tube that goes on lighter because of the pearl and turns into a light beigy rose. Very pretty and natural-looking, but I think I'll keep it for summer when I wear lighter shades and stick with Blushed for winter, which is slightly darker and less pearly.

I have very full lips naturally, and I thought this lipstick would only furthermore accentuate them so I bought it at Target for I don't know, maybe five dollars.
I like the formula, it's nice and silky, and kept my lips moisturized, BUT I don't enjoy the color at all.
It looks very odd on my lips, and in my opinion just make your lips look pale, sort of like when you have been outside in the cold for a while and they are all chapped and have that weird color to them.
I cannot see myself wearing this color just for the sake of wearing a color, because frankly it isn't flattering on my fair/light skin.
I will not be repurchasing in this color.
Although I might try some others.
EDIT: I actually have come to not absolutely 'hate' this color. I still don't like the frostiness of it, but I'll deal. Still won't repurchase though. But I do love the durability of Revlon lipsticks, the lipsticks are just so much fun to twist!

I guess I expected a better color payoff. Rose & Shine is a perfect name for this lipstick; however, the color is a lot lighter on lips than it appears in the tube. I like that this lipstick is unscented - a major plus. While this lipstick is not drying, I expected it to be more moist. I don't like waste and I'll use this lipstick up, but I will not repurchase because of so many other options that the cosmetics market has to offer.

This is a nice everyday lipstick. It has the look and feel of a tinted lipbalm. It's very sheer and moisturizing. Pretty, but not for you if you're looking for colour.
