Omg. I knew I loved the formula of the Colour Intrigue lipsticks, moreso than any other lipstick I've used. But this colour is amazing. With a neutral lipliner (a nude colour by Essence..v cheap n excellent quality), it looks stunning. It's got bronze/rose/MLbB hue with the perfect gleam of shimmer that does not read as frost at all. Super flattering. The formula is perfect, the colour is elegant, perfect.

Most EA Lipsticks I've tried are either average, or below average for what they cost, and my standards. This is an absolute exception. This lipstick looks like its been made for me (and my friend who doesn't look anything like me and has dark skin) in other words, I think it's universally flattering. It's a hard to describe color-a mix between a warm pink, a bronze, and a rose. Has shimmer but not over the top gives you a sophisticated look that doesn't need to be topped with a gloss.

For your reference, I am pale/fair, with grey blue eyes, dark brown hair; blue-red lightest shade in Presciptives, and just swatched at the Dior counter yesterday--the super sweet SA insisted that I was, "neutral" and not, "cool". She may be right; idk. All foundations seem to turn orange on me after a few hours. Will likely try samples of neutral and cool and see how each fairs by the end of the day....anyway, (sorry, I ramble, but I think the most useful lipstick reviews are from ladies with similar coloring)--LOVE this lippie. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. I own ...well, I almost wrote down how many lippies I have....think I'll just say that I have, "a lot" because the actual number is embarrasingly high...and with all those other lippies, this may be my favorite ever (even over my Chanel!!!). If you have similar coloring to mine, you MUST try this shade. RUN, don't walk, to the nearest EA counter!!!! Also, the texture is wonderfully soft, creamy...love, love, love.

In my 40 years rarely has a lipstick actually been described so perfectly in name as it is in formula and color, this is a perfect example of how to name a lipstick right. Simply take the name and finish and that is exaxctly what it looks like like on my lips. I couldn't explain it any better ! A beautiful everyday shade, just not outstanding.
