This is a nice brush. In general, I usually prefer natural hairs on my brushes. However, the bristles are nice and soft. I use this to apply touchups of my pressed powder. It works well and the cap makes is nice and portable. So far I have not noticed any shedding during washing.

This is my favorite make-up bag brush. I use powder foundation on a daily basis, so I need a really soft, dense brush, and this works perfectly. The bristles are really soft, and the metal seems to be sturdy enough to protect the bristles. The polyvinyl packaging loses a point for the fact that it is not reusable, though it is marketed as though it is (why would you need this bag anyway with a retractable brush?) After about a year, the glue inside the first one I bought started to come apart, and I just recently threw it away and replaced it. I would be upset if a more expensive brush fell apart after only a year, but these are so inexpensive ($6.99 at KMart) and easy to find!

Gorgeous thing. Really enjoy applying powder with it. No regrets. But how could you regret at this price?!

I bought this brush bec. of the retractability and the cap - no way can you pack a good brush for travel otherwise. The price is sure right, the cruelty free aspect appealed largely, and it feels pretty soft. I am not crazy about the Made in China bit, but I realize that's why they are so cheap. 7.99 at Kmart. I could see owning more than one of these, so that I can allow enough drying time after washing.
I'll see how they hold up. I've had a BBW retractable powder brush for over ten years - I'll be happy if this lasts five. This Ecotools brush is even smaller - nice for packing.

I really love this kabuki. It has great coverage and picks up enough product. However, I've had mine for at least a year, and the kabuki broke out of the little case thing in less than a few months. Be careful when washing that the water doesn't get to the glue. But it's still awesome, even broken!

This is the only makeup brush I use (I'm kind of minimalist that way) and I am very happy with it. With the sides "up" (if that makes any sense) it's a fabulous stippling brush, and I use it that way to apply my pressed powder. Before using a setting spray I use it again to remove any excess powder. It's soft, portable and perfect for my needs.

Best brush ever! I use this for compact powder and sometimes for blush if I cannot find my normal brush. I love it! There is no softer/nicer brush out there. Its portability is definitely enhanced by its retractability. It is mess-free. Good bang for your buck. It is easy to wash and take care of as well.

Wow! I'm a vegetarian so over the years I've acquired a number of artificial bristles brushes and Ecotools win hands-down!!! I have the retractable kabuki as well as the eye-set and an extra eye-shadow brush. I wish I had discovered them earlier. They are so much softer than all the other brushes I've got and the range is impressive. I love them 100%. The fact they are Eco-friendly is a bonus :) All pros no cons for me!!!

This is a good quality brush that is a must in the make-up purse I bring everywhere. It's nicely sized, soft to touch and doesn't shed. I use it for powders, blush, mineral makeup and veils, and it is definitely a multi-purpose brush. If you need one brush for your make-up purse, this is it.

I love this brush. I use it to apply my mineral powder and my setting powder. I absolutely love it. It's very easy to handle. It sheds one or two strands when I wash it. And it takes quite a while to dry compared to my other brushes, but I love it nonetheless. It's very soft and affordable. I'm so happy with it.

I do really like this brush, it's very soft & dense & it's perfect for apply bronzer or setting powders. My only problem is that since it's retractable, it's near impossible to clean...you can't get all the way down to the bristles so there's always build up. It is decently priced though, so it's not too expensive that I couldn't just buy a new one.

Lovely brush! My first eco tools product. Bought it at Watsons for about SGD$29+. Quite affordable. I love the brush: so dense & soft! No 'scratchy' feelings when i brush it over my face. I'll usually bring this whenever I leave the house, for touch ups etc. (thanks to the retractable function, it's more convenient to keep in my bag!). As for home use, I'm using Coastal Scents Pink Kabuki brush which is also another product which I highly recommend! Very dense and soft too!
Will definitely re-purchase this. :)

Great for on to go makeup application and touch ups throughout the day. Affordable and sturdy. I use this for powder but it will probably work with liquid too as the brush is dense.

Pros
- very soft and dense
- no shedding
- travel friendly
- works well with liquid foundation
Cons
- drying time
Comments: Love this brush. It blends powder products beautifully as well as liquid foundation. It's very soft and I like the retractable feature because you can control how big or small you need the brush to be depending on what you're using it for.
Will repurchase.

I absolutely love the brush. It delievers 100%. I use it to apply my pressed powder to set my foundation. Sometimes, I also use it to blend my foundation (if I accidently applied more). The best thing about it is that it makes the makeup feel like my skin. It blends the makeup seamlessly. Doesnt shed, extremely soft. Also, its great for travel. I keep it in my purse always :)

This is a very handy brush. It is soft, doesn't shed and is useful for many things: I like to use it to go over my foundation and soften the edges of my blush. Obviously, perfect for travel. I would have rated it higher but the bottom of the case came unglued. The brush still works but its a little annoying to fit together now. Still, definitely worth it.

I own three of these brushes and I love them.
I use this brush everyday, it's my go-to brush for everything.
Works great as a blush, bronzer and all over powder brush.
I have had no problems at all with my brushes, there is no fall out and they have not fallen apart.
I love the protective case it comes in, make it easier to keep clean and just throw in my hand bag. These brushes are great for travel.
Great value all rounder.

I LOOOVE this brush. It's perfect for so many face makeup uses. It's incredibly soft and blends in product (whether that be face powder to blush) PERFECTLY for me.
I wash it often and it takes a while to try (as is the nature of synthetic bristles).
My only problem was that mine fell apart after about a few months of owning it. Which I don't mind repurchasing it, as I have, but to try to alleviate that, I would try hard not to get water into the ferule of the brush, which is what I believe caused mine to fall apart.
Great traveling brush as well!

I love this brush so much that I bought two! I've read in some of the reviews that this tends to fall apart, but I've had mine for over a year and they have held up nicely, surviving regular spot cleanings and irregular deep cleanings. Guess I've gotten lucky - I also make sure to never let water or alcohol reach the base of the brush. I like it because it's super soft and it's great for travel. I don't like to carry other brushes in my bag because I'm afraid they'll lose their shape or get stuck in the zipper, etc. This brush is great for powder touch ups, which is what I mainly use it for, but I have also used it for mineral and liquid foundation application and blush application. It's not stellar in terms of blending blush, but it does the job in a bind. It's very affordable also. All in all, it's a really nice brush and I'd recommend it especially to oily girls who need powder touch ups during the day or for ladies who do their makeup on the run.

I have to thank my boyfriend for stumbling upon this amazing brush. He knows I'm
A makeup addict, and went through my collection last Christmas and saw a few ecotools brushes. He knew I was hating all of my kabukis so he picked this one up as one of my stocking stuffers. Let me tell you how much I have fallen in love with this brush since. I wash my brushes every week, it is now August, so that is 8 months of weekly washing and I have not had one hair fall out, nor has it lost its integrity and softness. And boy is this a soft brush, i love putting it on my face because it's so soft. When my mineral makeup is on too heavily, I pick up my trusty super soft ecotools retractable kabuki and buff it out, wahlaaa, perfect finish. When I apply my contour or blush too heavily, I buff it out with this and... Amaaazing. I love this brush so much I went out and bought a back up for absolutely no reason lol. This has withstand my harsh Washings, and daily use. It is so soft and dense, and if you need a kabuki, I wouldn't recommend any other than this one. I love this brush and will never buy a different kabuki. And the price? 12 bucks? Can't beat it! Recommend to everyone.
