I'm going through a coconuts phase (plus just chemically straightened my hair) and cannot stop buying any hair products with this scent. I just had to get this when I saw that it was 3 in 1 (because I was also in Singapore without shower gel...)

When I first smelled it, I loved the coconut smell, but then the night after I bought this, I drank a little too much, and the next morning this smell really made me want to throw up...

Anyway, back on track. As a shower gel, I think it's pretty good. Is it any better than my normal drugstore stuff? I don't think so to be honest. It's not moisturizing, it doesn't make me feel "cleaner", the smell is ok but I user perfume anyway.

As a shampoo, I think it's extremely mild and leaves my hair feeling.... unclean. I end up having to use another deeper cleaning shampoo, defeating the purpose of using a mild shampoo in the first place.

Never used it as a bubble bath so can't comment on that.

Overall, it's not bad since it's coconut scented (someone actually commented on how it smells really nice after I got out of the shower ;)), but I don't think it actually works that great on my skin or hair. The smell is a little too strong... so yeah, not going to repurchase.

I love anything coconut and this doesn't disappoint, it's great in the bath but even better in the shower, lathers up without having to use loads and leaves skin feeling soft and delicately scented. We don't get that much of a choice of flavours over here in England but I'm glad we can get this one.

I don't know if I got a dud, but my shower gel does not smell good! It starts off smelling like coconut but after about 5 seconds it changes to a very synthetic almost plastic scent. Thankfully it doesn't linger on the skin but I would definitely prefer if the original coconut smell lasted longer.

I don't think Philosophy shower gels are anything special (not moisturising/drying) other than the scents (not this one though!) and they're quite pricey in the UK. Personally, I prefer Korres shower gel for moisturising, amazing smell shower gels.

I'm a fan of anything coconut, and so when I smelled this shower gel I just knew I had to have it. For some reason coconut reminds me of my childhood, when there was never a care in the world and when the days were filled playing outside with friends and family. Funny how the scent of something can bring back so many memories. Anyway, I've been a philosophy girl for several years now. I use many of their products, and not a day goes by that I don't use their shower gel, so this one will be a great addition to the ones I already have. This is especially a good shower gel during the harsh winter months, my skin never feels overly dry and tight after getting out of the shower and toweling off. This is an awesome gel, and 16 oz bottles always seems to last me for months. Worth the price!!!

Initially, I was disappointed when I smelled this 3-in-1 gel, as it doesn't have the sweet cake-like smell I'd expected. Instead it smells more like fresh coconut. However, the scent has grown on me, and I now quite like it. It's light and refreshing and not at all cloying as I think it might have been if it smelled like frosting. Like the other 3-in-1 gels I've tried, it lathers amazingly well and leaves my skin feeling clean but soft and moisturized.

Rather than smelling a frosting aspect, it smells more like a pina colada. It lathers well in the shower; I never dare try on my hair, and I have given up using as bubble bath because none I have tried so far produce many bubbles. Some of the gels I don't feel get me clean very well, and this is one of them. I have no idea why I don't feel as clean as some of the other gels, but I don't. I like to use this in the evenings that I don't go running, and have not been sweating. The scent is fun, but not one of my favorites.

I love to take bubble baths and try a lot of soaps for my baths. Coconut Frosting is probably my favorite. I love the rich sweet smell - I can relax and imagine I'm someplace tropical and warm even in the dead of winter. The amount of bubbles I get from just a capful of product is great. And the bubbles last too. I don't feel itchy afterwards - just relaxed and calm.

If you like the scent of Hawaiian Tropic tanning oil, you'll like this body wash. I've tried other coconut scented body washes like Suave and The Body Shop, but they were all more floral rather than sweet and, well, coconutty. Like other reviewers said, the scent doesn't last after the shower, but it does smell fantastic. I've only used it as a body wash; I'm sure it would work great for a bubble bath, but I would never consider using it as a shampoo. In addition, Philosophy's body washes are actually one of the cheaper ones on the market (16 oz. for $16 vs.The Body Shop 8.4 oz for $13-$16 vs. Sephora Brand 10 oz. for $12). I always have to lotion up after I shower, so I can't really attest to how much moisturizing power this body wash has. The body wash definitely did not make me itchy though.

I usually love anything coconut and this I was hesitant to try because it had 'frosting' in the title and I HATE anything baked good smelling, I like tropical/fruity smells, but I fell in love with this at Sephora recently and had to have it. It's my 2nd fave Philosophy smell right behind Senorita Margarita, And brings me back to my childhood actually, because when I was growing up I had a shampoo from Clariol called Herbal something and they had a coconut one (no NOT Herbal Essences, this was in the early 80's) and it smelled just like this. Yummy!

I bought this because I loved the coconut smell. However, it doesn't last at all after out of the bottle. I think its really nice that its a 3 in 1, but I would not buy it again. The suds don't last as long as l'occitaine foaming baths, neither does the scent

I love anything coconut. I don't quite understand why Philosophy needs so many different coconut scents?!? Does anyone have a guess? Anyway, I have the COCONUT FROSTING...not cake, not tiki, not batter, not anything else...but, frosting. It is a 3-in-1, but I bought it to use only as a shower gel, maybe for bath. I would never think about using this on my hair. It is a pretty large bottle and cost me $16. I love how it smells in the bottle and for a few seconds after you squeeze it out. It lathers well. The scent does not last, but I still like it. I wish it would last longer or smell stronger...a lippie off for that. Otherwise, I think this does it's job. I am really lazy about moisturizing after a bath/shower and I am not dry or itchy...my skin feels soft. Good stuff. I wish Korres would make a coconut scent, though!
