Great eye drops, they take a little getting used to, because they have a cooling sensation. I've worked my way up to the artic ones they are the strongest, they make your eyes soo white!

This totally helps me to clear the redness, it stings momentarily but after gives off a cooling effect which I like then my eyes are totally cleared up and I look rested and awake, would like to try the other ones when this gets finished up

I have this in Ice and I really like it! I suffer from dry itchy eyes every so often and wanted to try something other than Visine. I put a drop in each eye just now and had a cooling sensation that burned a bit, but that's something I've experienced with most eye drops. I really liked the cooling sensation. After blinking a few times, the minor burning went away and my eyeballs feel cool. I looked in the mirror and my eyes were bright and clear! I love it so far!

I don't use these everyday, but they are a lifesaver on the days where I wake up with red, inflamed, "I didn't get any sleep" eyes. They have this cooling sensation that feels like you just splashed extra cold water on to your eyeball, and a little bit of menthol. So, it stings a bit but feels good if that makes any sense. A few minutes after using them nearly all the redness in my eye is gone and I look like I got my 8 hours (even if I didn't!)

I just picked these up at WalMart after having terribly irritated eyes from wearing my contact lenses. Admittedly, these do sting at first but as other reviewers have mentioned, a few quick blinks and the stinging is gone and you get a rush of coolness to your eyes. It feels amazing and it cleared the irritation right up and left my eyes comfortable, bright and white! I'd recommend these to everyone, especially those with allergies!

These drops clear up my red eyes very quickly and help me feel more awake. This isn't a drop you can put on after make up or even when you are in a hurry - they burn (it's the cooling portion) when applicated and feel oh-so-cool! They are the best and most effective over the counter for clearing up red eyes (my eyes looks so white and bright after using these) and waking you up. One small bottle has lasted me about 2 years and I use these quite a few times a week. One drop is all you need in each eye. Traveling wise, these pack well and don't leak.

I bought these the first time when they were still in the square packaging, I bought it because I thought the packaging was really cute. But back then I hated these. I feared them because they made my eyes hurt so bad each time I used them, I was just being a big baby about it and even though they did make my eyes white and moisturized, I stopped using them and threw them away. I recently rediscovered these and realized that they're not supposed to work the same way visine or clear eyes works, they are much more effective and that momentary pain is actually giving your eyes the relief they need. Now I use them all the time, first thing in the morning to get clear, white eyes that feel awake and lubricated, and anytime thereafter to give my eyes a wake up call. Other eye drops I have tried require so much work to dap your eyes because they're watering, keep applying because they're not clearing the red, etc. etc. These are foolproof, one drop in each eye and your eyes are crystal clear and feel great. I love the insurance of knowing that I will never have to deal with red, irritated eyes again, as long as I have this with me. I am so glad I gave this another try instead of swearing it off forever. The cute packaging is a bonus, what's inside is golden.

These beat plain ol' eyedrops hands down. They feel nice and cooling, and very refreshing. There is a little burning when you first apply, but it's nothing major and it only lasts a few seconds. I would def. repurchase!

Oh how I love these little drops of pain. They sting like the dickens but if you're starting to get that computer screen blur at work, or are going text blind, or cigarette smoke is killing your eyes...these drops are the answer. They're like ice cold water and will sting for a second or two. Blink a few times and there ya go, refreshed and crystal clear.

I purchased mine from Walgreens and they were around $4. These things are the 5 Hour Energy for eyeballs.

I love these eye drops! No matter HOW RED my eyes are, I'll apply the drops and literally within a couple of minutes there's not a bit of redness in sight! It stings so I usually apply in the morning before eye makeup and contacts.

To be honest, these eyedrops burn so much. I'm not a masochist BUT I actually like it - it helps me wake up in the morning! I'm sure that if your eyes are itchy and bothered, one drop of burning Rohto will make you forget all about it. They do not seem to make my eyes whiter, but they feel so refreshed after.

If you are beat, these are amazing, miracle eye drops. They sting like hell and make your eyes a bit red for a minute until it absorbs, but once it does you will be a new person. I used these occasionally--I wouldn't use them super often, just maybe before an event or presentation or something if you have to look with-it. I bet they aren't very good for you in the long run. But occasional, yes!

I would put one drop in each eye before I put on my makeup just in case it ran a bit. It is kind of an eye astringent, so it stings more than Visine does, but it really does get rid of all redness and makes your eyes look really white!

I have EXTREMELY sensitive eyes where wind & airconditioning can really affect them. These eyedrops have a tingling sensation at first where I struggle to open my eyes & squint. It's a little embarrasing when using at work, it looks like I'm in pain but once the tingling goes down my eyes feel perfectly awaken & fresh. I've never had an eye drop do this.

We use to stock this in Australia but has been discontinued for some reason in the last 3 years or so =(... I just came back from holiday in US & bought 10 boxes of these things as the expiry date is in after 2 years. I should've gotten more.

I really recomend anyone who has any trouble with dry/sensitive eyes to give this a go as you guys have it lucky in US to stock these. =)

So after trying the Rohto "Cool" drops and falling in love instantly, I couldn't wait to go a step further and try Rohto "Ice" for even more of that fantastic cooling sensation. Turns out, for me, "Ice" is too much of a good thing. It makes my eyes burn, turn red, and tear, just the opposite effect I want. So I'm sticking with my eyedrop HG, "Cool", and I suggest that anyone trying Rohto drops for the 1st time start with "Cool" and work their way up to see how strong they can go.

I read reviews prior to purchasing and I was worried about the horrible stinging that others have experienced. Fortunately, it didn't feel bad at all, somewhat "minty," as I've heard it being described (I don't know how to explain it, you'll just have to try it). I put in 1-2 drops as suggested, and I didn't feel any stinging or burning at all. I don't know if it makes any difference, but I wear contact lenses (about 15 years now)... be sure to take them out before using these drops, though! After a few minutes, my eyes were no longer dry or itchy and the redness and irritation were gone. I've never had to use more than a couple drops a day, so it lasts a long time. The price isn't too bad... I purchased mine from Wal-mart for $4.96. I will definitely repurchase as needed!

There are some things in life that I'm extremely obsessed over..but this nearly tops it all. My fiance is convinced that I'm addicted. He might be right! LOL But, honest to god i cannot live w/ out these drops. Every morning I put these in my eyes and it automatically wakes me up and my eyes are crystal clear. I love all the formulas. Warning: if ur a first time user, you might hate them at first. They burn a bit, but after you get use to it. It's a good burn!

Lately I've noticed that my eyes really burn about halfway through the day at work. I went to WalMart to get Clear Eyes but fell for the chic packaging and the 'Cool' description. My favorite feature is the bottle's shape - round and flat. My least favorite feature is the incredible stinging that happens when you first put these in. The only way to stop this is to put the drops in, close your eyes, keep your head tilted back, and wait it out. After the stinging, there is a cooling sensation. But don't open your eyes yet because then the burning starts and your eyes water and you can't see. So keep waiting and dab your eyes. Finally your eyes will feel better. Yes, these drops are fantastic at taking away redness but they just aren't convenient to use at work.

A couple weeks ago, everytime I'd wake up, my eyes would burn. It hurt so badly, I don't get what was going on. But then my eyes would be red, almost so bloodshot like my eyes were very infected or sometimes less dramatic like I had pink eye. Yet.. everything was "fine". I was checked out and they didn't know what was going on. Annoying when that happens. Anyway, I decided to give these eye drops a try. I'm really glad I did! My eyes haven't been burning anymore in the mornings, this really whitens up your eyes (which is great!), and I love the feeling after you use them. Almost a minty gum feeling that makes your mouth tingle, but only in your eyes! I have this in the green packaging, in Cool. I may try the blue ones eventually, but for now, I'm happy with this one! I'll be repurchasing this cute little, helpful product!
