I started out buying the 1oz spray of this the doll is really cute but I like the scent more its the best of the collection with lil angel second in line. I repurchased love but this time I ordered the 3.4oz tester because I don't want to keep buying the same doll over n over they are too cute to throw away and I actually like the scent a lot. Its hard to describe but all I can say is its girly and not really sweet or fruity its like a flower and sweet pea type scent. I recommend this over the others. G is all coconut, lil angel is sweet n fruity, music is bland and baby is a lemon baby powder scent. I prefer the wicked styles over the originals but from the originals love is my favorite.

The best of the 5 Harajulu Lovers I tried (got a sample pack with 5 scents) - this one was in a purple tube. Fruity-Floral and not too harsh. Sweet with a nice top note. Long staying power (at least on me.)

The smell of this perfume is amazing. It starts off sweet and fresh and ends off with a beautiful and unique musky scent that floats around u. Unfortunately, it just DOESN'T hang around for long. What a shame! I would re-purchase but only if i got it dirt cheap.

I'm in love with this fragrance! I smelled it once in a nearby Sephora and immediately knew that I had to have it. Since it was near Christmas, I dropped hints and sure enough, I unwrapped it Christmas morning. The figure is adorable and is a lovely decoration, even after the perfume is gone. Sadly, mine is already out...but, I'll be ordering more as soon as I can!

The only thing that bothers me about this is that it doesn't last as long as I'd like it to. The fruity fragrance is amazing, but it becomes very weak after a couple hours. If only it was a little stronger, this perfume would be perfect.

This scent smells good, but it doesn't last on me...It definitely reminds me of grapes when I smell it...but then, in 5 minutes, it's gone! Not really a favorite of mine, especially due to its lack of a lasting scent...

In my opinion, this is one of the better smelling fragrances from the Harajuku Lovers line. "Love" has a sweet, romantic and sensual scent that fits the name of this perfume quite well. I get some fruity notes at first, like peach or mango, followed by the floral notes of rose and jasmine. I was expecting it to smell somewhat "childish", but it doesn't. Infact, it smells quite elegant on my skin. The combination of the notes come together really well and it dries down to a soft sweet vanilla scent on me. Definitely my fav from the line so far, followed closely by "G" (another Harajuku Lover's scent).

Why only three stars, people?
I found this in a boutique, and on the first smell, I said, "I MUST OWN THIS!"
It doesn't smell like flowers to me! It should...but it smells like a Korean person. I really can't explain it, but on fragrancenet.com, it shows that it is composed of different and many floral scents.
The bottle is just too cute. You can save the little plastic figurine that comes off of the small bottle when the perfume's all out! I love how they come in different people!

The bottle, shaped like a little doll, feels a little cheap as the paint rubs off really slowly.
Nonetheless, I really like the sweet and floral scent. However, It does wear off after a while. Will purchase again in the future, but it's not a priority.
If you want something from a higher end, recommend Daisy from Marc Jacobs and Poppy from Coach.

Cute bottle, mediocre scent. I'll have to admit, I love having her sit on my vanity but barely reach for her. It's a strong floral scent, nothing too special or long lasting. It smells youthful and fun but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

I got this perfume as a gift last Christmas, and I love it. The bottle is cute and it smells really good. I wear it all the time because I love the smell. I agree with the person down below when she said it smells like grape candy, cause it does!

Just picked this on sale, the winter limited edition 1/2 price. I have never smelled it but figured for the price, why not. Its a sweet light scent to me. Great for daytime wear. Cute bottle and overall a great deal for the price I paid. Because my set came with the original and the winter edition I can keep one at work. Very please with my purchased.

I think your review were referring to the new collection of Harajuku lovers called Wicked Style. And yes, that version of LOVE does smell like grapes. Very girly, childlike and irresistible! But this review is for the original version of LOVE which is completely a different scent.

I love the smell of this! Everyone is saying its a floral scent but i think it smells like grape candy. When i was testing it out there was a teenage girl next to me who also tried it and loved it and she also said it smelled like grape candy. I'm not sure if the scent is long lasting though. 4 hours after i put it on my husband said he couldn't smell it. I had been contemplating purchasing this for months but after i tried it on today i went into another store and 3 separate people complimented me so i went back to Sephora and bought it. I will say that i was disappointed when i got home because the box was big so i thought it was a large size parfume, but when i opened it i realized the large box was because of the cute Harajuku figure that is the cap for the bottle & u only get 1oz of actual parfume and i paid $45.

I got this as a present. It's nice but not great. While it has the same floral notes and sweetness as my YSL Baby Doll, it takes the rose scent in a completely different direction. I hardly ever wear it because I feel like its too strong for me.
EDIT: I never wear it, I don't really like this, maybe it's just getting old.

Really not a pleasant scent. It has a really strong, alcohol odor to it. Because of the strong alcohol smell, the scent itself is very overpowering and not really pleasant. This does smell very sweet though, like some kind of candy. I think this scent was just altogether not worth it. Overpowering scent and the smell it does have would be best suited to a pre-teen. The bottles themselves are very small and are basically a small amount of perfume with a doll on top.

I've been wanting to buy this for the cute packaging when I saw it on sale, but decided to try out my sample first. Right when I apply it, I can definitely smell the floral notes and I can detect the rose, but about 5 minutes later it becomes very peachy. It reminds me a lot of a toned down version of Gwen's first perfume, L by LAMB, which I already own and love. After that, all I get are roses and peaches. A couple of hours later, I can't smell it anymore.

Overall, I do love the scent, I just wished it didn't smell just like something I already own, and I wish there was more lasting power.

So a friend bought the Harajuku lover perfume for me and it's the first perfume I've ever owned. The packaging was adorable and the bottle is really cute but the smell is a bit strong. Love smelled like roses which isn't really what I was looking for.

I get mostly bergamot and rose when I smell this, and perhaps something more abstract, like autumn, which is probably why I like this so much.
*Edit* On the dry down, I get a bit more of the spiciness, the ylang ylang I'm guessing. Love doesn't smell overly sweet to me, mostly floral, but the tiny sweetness I do smell is the vanilla.

I really, really hate the bottle though. I took the plastic doll part off, its really so cheap looking.

Nothing special. I see how some would find the bottle cute if one is into that sort of thing, but I find the figurines a little cheesy and prefer classier glass bottles. The scent is sweet and unoriginal. I like L by L.A.M.B. a little better, but it's not a favorite either.


Notes: bergamot, pink pomelo, peach, bamboo leaf, watery peony, living hydroponic lace rose, jasmine sambac, nectarine blossom, creamy paperwhites, Egyptian jasmine, ylang ylang, vanilla, musk and blond wood.

Out of all the Harajuku Lovers I think this one has to be my favorite! It just smells of pink pomelo, rose, and vanilla orchid. In other words amazing flora that isn't too strong and can be worn daily IMO.
