Has the worst instructions out. Could of written in more detail. First off the cream smells like hair perm and secondly it burns and causes rashes on my skin. After washing the cream off it was sticky and I had left over hair that was curly and it came off when I pulled it. Absolutely horrible, rather shave.

Instead of the green bottle in the picture, I have the Veet sensitive formula-the blue bottle. Before purchasing, I did some research and looked up reviews on the product. I was surprised to see many people didn't like Veet at all, and it gave many people rashes. However, in the end, I decided to try it out-and I love it! It does wonders for me. It sort of smelled like hair dye...but it wasn't overly strong. I put a thick-ish layer on my legs and my arms, and waited for about 7-8 minutes, and I took a sponge and wiped it off-all the hair was gone! And I didn't get any rashes or any other reactions. It left my skin feeling the same-not any softer, in my opinion.
Packaging wise, I didn't get the one with the spatula or sponge inside, so it's just a tube. I wish it did come with a sponge, I had to use my own sponge.
For the price, I got it for $8.50, (I live in Canada) I thought it was relatively cheap, considering it's a big bottle, but after seeing how much you use in one use, it's a bit pricey. The bottle should probably last about...6-7 times worth of shaving? In my opinion, for me.
Overall, it was a product that worked for me, and I love it!

Oh god whY!!?!?!? Why did we buy the veet!?!?!? It is the DEVIL!!!!!!!!! Devil incarnate!!!!
Tested a small area on my leg to see if I was allergic to it......SUCCESS!!! No reaction. Proceed to step two.....
SMEAR THAT STUFF ALLLLL OVER YOUR LEGS!!! BWUHAHAHAHHA you’ll get that hair! You have the Veet Army.....all will go well.....
1 minute........you’re fine....smells kind of weird but what ever....
2 minutes.....well it tingles a little bit.....strange.....
3 minutes...............burning.......burning.......BURNING!!!!! MUST GET IT OFF!!!
4 minutes .. ... ... ... . scrubbing ineffectively to get the wrath of satan off your legs.....Oh god Whyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! My poor legs.....
5 minutes . . . . . . it’s off......gone.......but oh my dear god.....it burns soooo bad....
Currently....Burning like an SOB, rather red and unhappy.
Lesson: NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN BUY VEET or any other god forsaken hair removal cream.
This is the absolute worst I have ever had. I tried this stuff YEARS ago, I'm talking eons! and I figured that they had to have changed their formula.........it had to have gotten better. Last time it just didn't work. The hair didn't come off....this time....this time was brutal....still trying to have my legs recover from the chemical burns.......

This product is horrible. I used it almost 7 years ago. yes 7 years. I know it sounds too long ago to write a review about it but it did major damage to my legs. I put it on for not even a minute and almost every hair follicle started bleeding. I washed it off immediately and was left with burns in my hair follicles. To this day i still have red bumps all over my legs and scars where the redness isnt. It has caused the hair follicles to grow my hair weirdly which in turn causes in-grown hairs and makes things much worse. I'm not able to wax, use any hair removing cream and even shaving can be tricky. I sent them an email, and they sent me the money back I spent on the product. Thanks for that, but that doesn't help the fact that I can't wear shirts or shorts without showing off the horrible scars and bumps all over my legs. One product, for 1 minute has given me 7 years of pain and it doesnt show any signs of going away. (I've even went to the doctor and been prescribed cream for burns). Not worth it.

This product is either horrible to some , or great to others ..I used it many times and It has it's pros and cons
Pros :
* For veteran waxers /sugarers like me it can save you when you are in a hurry .
* Great for legs and will catch smaller & prickly hairs that wax or sugar can't get .
* Better than shaving and lasts much longer.
*the Smell isn't horrible at all , and doesn't irritate if used correctly .
*The sponge is AMAZING and can last for really long time if washed and dried in air .
Cons :
*It's enough for hardly two times if used to the knees ( I am not tall ..)
* A bit expensive .
* There is a dupe for it here in my country(in-shower veet is made in France) which is way better and cheaper ! but its sponge isn't that good ...
* Must be used in a certain way -not the one on the pack to work best ..
..and here is my way to get the best results of it :
- While in bathtub BEFORE showering , apply it thickly on legs and wait for at least 5 to 6 minutes then damp the songe and remove it with a circluar, gentle motion against hair growth .Rinse under cold or tiped water sparingly after removal , you can use a wet cotton towel to remove access cream while rinsing - A LOT- then you can shower as usual , but don't rub or scrub legs with harsh soap or cleansers just rinse a lot , dry and apply lotion, preferably with aloe vera and your legs will be shiny , smooth and pretty for a whole week .I hope that helped ...

I bought this product in the hope that i would find a faster alternative than waxing or shaving my legs... Unfortunately, it didnt work out that way. Not only did I have to use the entire bottle to do my full legs but the whole application just felt awkward.. especially the waiting. I had to wait 6 whole minutes in the cold waiting for it to work properly. After finally rinsing it all off, my skin didnt feel soft, it just felt disappointing. The hair did go away but I did break out in a small rash on the inside of my thighs/knees. I dont think id ever buy this product again, even in the new larger version.

i dont know why you guys are all hatin' on this product, i have sesitive skin and i did not feel any burning or "tingling" my skin was not red only my armpits a little cause they'er a little more tender then legs, but my bikini and butt ish area where fine also. I used the pink one for normal skin it still has that hair burning smell but the lotus milk and jasmine cover it up pretty good and then once u use your regular body wash (which i hope everyone does) that faint smell of burning hair will be gone!
i still shave if i dont have the time for doing the creme but every time i shave i get bumps so the creme is worth it for me i find and im not that into waxing my bikini line? OUCH?? sooo untill i get my legs, pits, and bazillian laser'd off! but thats lots of saving up to do, the cremes great!
but otherwise great product just DONT PUT IT WHERE U DONT WANT HAIR TO GROW BACK because it will! ALOT! so keep it where the hair is , and you should be golden
oh and i duno how big your guys legs are but iv used one tube/bottle w.e on my legs twice my armpits twice and my bikini zone twice.. and theres still about half the tube lil less maybe

Iv'e used veet before on my legs, arms, underarms, and even my bikini line. I only used it once because it was just taking too long. I could shave faster. It's hard to apply, it smells, and it stings. So recently I decided to use it again but just on my arms. After I used it my arms stang REALLY REALLY bad and I had red bumps all over my arms. They went away after about a half hour but it was a real pain. I'm getting nair next time.

I don't know how well this works on legs but I used it on my arms (which have an abundance of soft hairs). I did find I used a lot of it though. But I put it all over and after 6 minutes used a wet towel to take it off and it worked perfectly. It did stink but I just had it on for 6 min so it wasn't a big deal. My arms are super smooth and lovely now :)

Ok first of all, this product ought to be chucked in the bin.
I have this exact to the picture (green) and the texture of the cream isn't very creamy. Hence it was very difficult to apply them evenly on my skin - the cream doesn't even spread!
It stings (I know for sure all hair removal cream stings, but this stings really badly) and I got really bad chemical burns from this and it really HURT!! With the skin peeled off and everything.
Ok this also doesn't remove all my hair. It got me so mad because its expensive, doesn't work and left me with chemical burns. Oh I must mention this, the sponge is so rough to my skin! Since theres two sides to the sponge, and it is mention that the coarse side is for hair removal, I followed the instructions and all I get is EVEN MORE PAINFUL HAIR REMOVAL EXPERIENCE!
I remember when I first used this, it was my virgin experience in using hair removal product, and so I thought all hair removal creams are supposed to suck that much. WRONG!
Only this was EXCEPTIONALLY BAD. Left me with rough cactus-like skin also (apparently this doesn't remove hair completely well) and I feel embarassed when my friends' arms or legs brushed against mine, I bet it must have felt like thorns to them!
It got better when I switched to Veet Hair Removal Mousse (that comes with bladeless razor). Holy, thats a million times better than the Veet In-shower Hair Removal Cream.
In-shower hair removal cream, is definitely chuck-worthy. I don't even know what i'm going to do with the leftovers, I could've bought better hair removal cream with half of that price.

My friend recommended this and said it works wonders for her, maybe I read the packaging wrong, but it didn't do a thing for me! I followed the instructions as best I could, and nothing, some hair was burnt off, but most of the root remained. I had to scrub with the sponge to remove any hair, which wasn't a lot. Not sure what I paid cdn at shoppers drug mart. Even tho shaving is annoying, I'd rather use that than waste much more time on veet.

I used this a while back while I was living in London. I was (and still am actually) a monthly user of their wax strips (legs).
I bought it to see if it would allow me for those events when you dont have time to wax (i hate shaving....prickliness the next day urgh) or in between waxings.
They have actually started selling the in shower cream in bigger sizes - my main complaint was that you needed to use the whole bottle for both legs. Plus it was difficult to get an even coating.
In the shower, it's not a good idea to step in with this on. Kinda deafts the purpose, but I did notice once or twice, while avoid the water with my legs as much as possible it did indeed stay on for a little while.
I suggest to apply this, wait the time you need to wait and just before you get in the shower, remove. The sponge is great as well - but gets really gross after a while. Very exfoliating but not scratchy. In fact the whole experience is quite nice. I used the pink one and the scent was lovely, and left my legs feeling quite nice.
I noticed that it took the hair longer to grow back that shaving, but this may be due to the fact that I wasn't using it regularly.
I'm still on the fence on whether or not to repurchase now that im in the US and they don't sell the veet wax strips where I live... I think I will because they have started to give you more product.
Plus no irritation (and I used this one on the back of my hands/fingers once and I had no issues.
Overall, I think this is a great hair removal cream, and should be used this way, and not in the shower.

Stay away from it if you have sensitive skin, you'll come out all red and bumpy. It only lasts a few days at most. It stinks quite a bit, and it's hard to apply the cream everywhere by yourself. You're better off shaving, really - it's a lot cheaper.

HORRIBLE! So I bought this thinking that it would be easy to use and get me "beach ready" quickly....boy was I wrong! This is the worst thing I have ever tried. I applied it as directed.... however a few seconds in felt a tingling...When I removed the product I was left with all my hair follicles burnt and red. and bumpy. and there was still hair!
My friend tried this as well and ended up bleeding out of every hair follicle!

This product was disappointing to say the least, it doesn't get rid of leg hairs at all and if you want to remove hair at all you have to leave it on longer than the package says you should.
The only place I use it and it actually works is my nether regions. :/

This stuff works! I find Veet to be an easy way to remove hair and stay smooth for days. I just slather it on my lower legs and feet and read a quick magazine article before getting in the shower. It couldn't be easier.

I think it is excellent. It removed all my hairs and exfoliated my legs and now they are perfectly smooth. Definitely repurchasing..better than the spray on..that gets everywhere.
