I love this serum. It makes my facial skin look entirely better and more youthful. Even my husband noticed, and he is not one to notice things like that. My skin feels smoother, and has nice healthy feeling. It goes on easily. Makeup goes on well over this and a moisturizer. I have sensitive skin prone to clogged pores and breakouts, and this product does not bother my skin at all. I gave it four stars instead of five because the fragrance is a little much, and I prefer fragrance free products. This is pricey but I love it so much I keep buying it, as nothing else seems to work as well, and I have tried a lot of serums.

Hi. any people that say any of the EL treatments make u 'break out' are not reviewing ur EL product. As per EL's site all off their products are non-acnegenic and will not cause any type of inflammation. U should check out what else u r using or find a separate acne treatment for your 'troubled' skin. Check EL's website for info. Do ur research.

Super-silicone-y! Got a sample in the mail today... put in on my face then washed it off quickly. I could tell IMMEDIATELY (from lots of experience with similar products) that this stuff was basically fertilizer for a potential zit farm. Not to mention once it dried my face looked like it was wrapped in wax paper. Just not for me. I still love my Advanced Night Repair Eye, and my DayWear cream, but I think I will skip this particular treatment. This product is probably best for people who have little or no tendency to break out, but honestly even for them I think there is something else out there that costs less and performs better.

I used the trial size i managed to get at sears, and have loved it ever since. Yes it is a pricey, but trust me when i say a little goes a long way. All you need is a little pump and dab it all over your face then rub it in. I was surprised at how nice it felt and it seemed to have a nice matte finish to it, and even more surprised when my skin never broke out once while using it. Which is a first for me considering i have very sensitive skin so using new products usually end up leaving my face red and irritated for at least a week. I would definitely use this again :)

Well - very mixed review here.

I LOVE this product. It gives my skin this wonderful matte look and feeling. Buuuut... it makes me break out like CRAZY. I do have sensitive skin though. I can't use Biolage or Joicio products on my hair or my whole body breaks out, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. Go to Nordstrom or Lord & Taylor and see if you can get a generous sample, use it for a week and see if you react at all. I don't know what it is that does it - I Clairsonic at night, put vitamin e oil on me face and then just a wash cloth and cold water in the AM then go through my regular routine and never have any break outs. Once I put this puppy in the routine I got those big nasty cyst like zits that I almost never get. So fair warning. I do love it though, just wish it didn't make my face explode.

I absolutely love this product. It is expensive, but a little goes a fairly long way and used sparingly a bottle will last - so works out OK on a cost per day calculation. The flipside is running out s unbearable - my skin craves this stuff. There is a very visible difference. It also balances out any oiliness/dryness. This is my HG serum. I have found that my skin is a whole lot better in terms of fine lines, age spots, creases around the lips, marionette lines/smile lines and a deep 'frown crease' I had since my late teens/twenties has disappeared for good. It can be difficult to get the last of the product out of the bottle and at this price you should be able to get every last drop. The pump bottle functions well otherwise. This serum is a light liquid cream consistency, whereas many other serums are oily and need time to absorb, this one sinks right into your skin and leaves it feeling uplifted, toned, instantly smooths fine lines and creates a beautifully velvet feeling that also makes a great makeup base. I use this instead of daytime moisturizer, I don't need anything else and with the lifting/line plumping effects, I prefer it. I then use Napoleon Auto-Pilot Face Primer (which goes further after using this serum first) before my makeup. I can honestly say I have never had as many compliments on my skin since using this serum (in combination with Auto-Pilot and mineral foundation).

First of all, no one can expect miracles from skin care products. It is important to have reasonable expectations. Only plastic surgery can erase or lift wrinkles. This serum has wonderful ingredients and that is why I use it. I use it in the morning before applying a moisturizes and SPF. The pump bottle is very practical. Short-term benefits: makes my skin temporarily smooth and glowy (silicones), it serves great as a foundation primer. Long-term: evens out my skin tone, fades out sun damage. Even though it is expensive, I will keep on using it as a part of my skin care routine with the hope I'm doing the best for my skin externally.

Personally not a good product for my combination skin as after a few uses this serum started to severely clog my pores and I even had some breakouts which is very rare for me. I purchased this product as I like that it is full of excellent ingredients for my skin, including plenty of antioxidants, but clogged pores and breakouts are a deal breaker. I'm glad others are able to use this product and enjoy it's benefits, but I'm moving on and trying another serum.

Love this serum, that's 3 out of 4 EL serums that are definite staples for me. I use this in the morning before my moisturizer with SPF and my skin feels and looks wonderful! Nice light scent and the packaging in the purple pump is cute. The few fine lines on my forehead are barely visible. I purchased Shisedo Tinted Moisturizer with SPF, but decided to return it because the natural glow, eveness and clarity of my skin doesn't need anything additional.

It feels like slathering a silicone based product. It does make your skin smooth and soft but just only temporarily. It doesn't do anything it said it would. Expensive for nothing

I bought this product because I notice that I was getting wrinkles around my "smile lines." The lady at the counter said to apply this serum after you have applied the night repair serum. I followed her instructions and I did not see any results. So I decided just to use the wrinkle serum by itself and sure enough there were results. My smile lines started to disappear and it made my face more smooth and hydrated. You have to use this product for a few weeks to see results.

It doesn't lift anything to start with. It's just a very siliconey base for your face. Overpriced for what it is and what it does. At first I really liked it but when my very first small bottle was finished and I purchased a second one. I then discovered (way too late) that it was blocking my pores if used daily. Fabulous! So now I am stuck with a huge bottle of it and I think it's going to last me forever because I use it like twice-three times a week (otherwise it'll definitely break me out) trying to alternate it with my daily (HG status!) EL advanced repair serum. It doesn't provide enough moisture either. One good thing - it can be used as a primer as it makes the foundation application easier and smoother. No way I am going to repurchase this! (still have 3/4 of my huge bottle left - going to take me a lifetime to finish this).

Had a deluxe sample of this and to be honest, it feels like a LOAD of silicone with purple shimmers in it. I don't think it does much for correcting skin imperfections or wrinkles...just seems like a product that masks it. Also feels really greasy--like the silicone-heavy kind of greasy. Not worth buying.

I got a 7ml sample of this with a product purchase and have used half of it on the fine lines on my face, daily over 3 weeks in combination with 2 other moisturisers.

It's a thin milky serum that makes the surface of your skin slightly softer and smoother. I have tiny lines underneath my eyes and expression lines around my mouth & forehead but haven't noticed any improvement. My skin is faily clear so I can't comment on how effective it is for other skin concerns.

It has a scent which is bearable (not offensive at all) and did not irritate my skin.

I would not purchase this because it did not live up to any of it's claims, did nothing to improve my skin and is expensive. I'm so glad I didn't buy the full size.

I blithely bought this serum 'cause I wanted to 'qualify' for a gwp. I have used many, many cosmetic and skin care items and have never expected too much; just so long as they were decent, I was happy. Well after a few weeks people started asking me what was I doing? One friend that I had not seen for awhile asked if I had 'work' done? My DH started to call me "beauty" for heavens sake. So I am convinced that this stuff DOES do something to improve skin. I guess I really needed the improvement so it shows!

Going against the majority here, but I did not care for the product. First of all, it is just packed with really good antioxidants, which is a reason why I bought it in the first place. I think it did my skin some good. However, I did not care for the texture - it's very silicone rich, and in a strange way, drying. After application, it becomes somewhat matte and it actually seems to settle INTO the wrinkles. Also, because of the heavy silicone content, if you want to layer something on top of it, like a sunscreen or a moisturizer, the outer product may flake or start balling. Weird! I'm a huge fan of the Estee Lauder family serums - I like just about all the other Estee Lauder serums, as well as some of the Clinique serums too (also like the Good Skin firming serum!). But this one was just not a winner for me.

I am weaning myself off the $200 Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lifting serum and thought I'd give this a try instead. Paula Begoun says that based on the ingredient list, it should actually be a better product. I don't know if it is better but it is certainly just as good. Same smoothness and reduced look to lines and wrinkles. But like all EL advertising, the whole improves in two hours line is bull. I do think that you have to give a product like this a good six to eight weeks to see any improvement. No offense to any MUAers but it isn't Botox. You're just not going to see much in a week although you should see smoother skin and less redness. And I also want to say that ultimately the improvements will be very subtle: lines will be less noticeable but they won't be going away. Compared to the price of laser treatments which are in the thousands, this slight improvement is good enough for me. One more thing: check the ingredient list. All serums are clearly not equal. There are so many unbiased sites with research on the Internet that you should check the efficacy of the ingredients if you're going to spend this kind of money.
