Coral Strass Ė 301 Ė has been a bit of a disappointment for me, because itís so beautiful in the tube. Seemingly both baby pink and gold through the plastic, on the lips itís heavily pearlescent and a bit gloopy. The small crystals can collect in lip crevices and it looks a bit naff. Iím wearing it over Estee Lauderís Crystal Baby (a nude pink) but Iím not liking the way the crystals make my lips look dry and flaky. I donít know if Iíll get much use out of this. It performs and looks like a cheap gloss.

The color is nice on this gloss, it's what initially attracted me to purchase this item. Once applied I found it dries up on the lips quite quickly, making you have to reapply often. I also found it had a overly perfumy type smell that was sort of nauseating. I would not repurchase this gloss again.

this is my second bottle of it. when I ran out I was quite heart broken but they came out with the line again and grabbed another one. It's my favorite shade. great for going out in. Keeps my lips moist, stays put pretty good comparably.
I do love mac's luster glass, I like the brush a bit better than the sponge. I've just put a daub of both on my hand - the MAC is thicker and stickier and not as glittery. Different look. Both are great. one costs my left arm.
GOSH light and shine works better but I love this shade with the gold and pinks opalescent frosts.

I actually love this lipgloss because it's what I want: a nudish pink peach colour (although it's more clear than colour) and lots of small gold/pink specks in it to provide a nice sparkly effect. The sparkles don't make it feel gritty at all on your lips and I like the heart shaped application brush which deposits quite a bit of colour the first time.
I know the other lady who reviewed this found it quite difficult for the gloss to stay in the lipline. I find that with all glosses, I do usually use a lipliner or I have to wipe off a bit of excess lipgloss that has spread out of my lipline after application. But it's nothing out of the ordinary - it's not like it melted on my lips and went all over my mouth uncontrollably. You just have to wipe it a bit once if you spread too much on your lips and then you're good to go.
As for kissing someone, of course the glitter will transfer to them and spread over your mouth area but then again, what glittery lipstick or lipgloss can you use while making out and not expecting it to budge even a bit? Are you kidding- you must be using some excessively drying glitter paint if you expect that it'll stay put.
This lipgloss is perfect on its own or, if you layer it on top of any lipstick, it'll give a really nice shiny, shimmery, 3D effect to your lips and make them look more luscious. People will just stare at your lips and I've gotten many ladies asking me what I was using!
I didn't find the taste nauseating at all. It has a bit of a berry flavour to it. I don't love the taste but it's not strong enough for me to notice much.

So I decide to give L'oreal another shot since I haven't used it in years. This is a really cool colour. I think the MAC Dazzleglass fans would like the look of this, very shimmery, pinkish peach and gold w/bright pink sparkles. It feels only slightly gritty and not at all sticky & that might be why it easily spreads outside your lip line so if your not careful you could end up with sparkles all over your face, and don't kiss your man with this on. The packaging is really cute and compact but the gloss does tend to bubble out of the top a little. It smells bad and tastes even worse. I actually feel nauseated when I first put it on. So, great colour but will not repurchase due to it spreading outside the lip line sooo easily and the disgusting taste. Will L'oreal ever smarten up & fix that! Anyway if you don't mind the scent/taste of other L'oreal lip products you probably won't mind this 'cause I think they're all pretty much the same. Personally, I will continue paying 2x the price for my MAC glosses & the yummy vannila scent and stay put shimmer!
