Based on the display picture of this particular lip gloss, it looked like a typical red. However, I was so surprised when I received it and saw that it was actually a verrrrrry dark purple with some red and pink undertones! I looked like a gothic girl when I tried it on my lips! On the other hand, the texture of this gloss was in between thin and thick. The consistency actually reminded me of cover girl wetslicks! It was indeed shiny, moisturizing and very pigmented even if i wiped the sponge applicator at the edge of the container. I also thought that it was in a small packaging but it was actually in a fairly big size container!
I also discovered a way to make this color work on me. First, I apply a very little amount and blot my lips on a tissue paper! It works pretty great! With that, it appears mauve on my lips!
