This blush gives me a natural looking colour to my olive NC42 skin, it really looks like I went out for a run and my cheeks are giving out a natural rosy glow. It's a deep red/burgundy and it is VERY pigmented if you don't apply light handedly. I made that mistake the first time and I was horrified, it left a big red blob on my cheek and was convinced I made a mistake purchasing this but the thing was it blended like an absolute dream with my Real Techniques blush brush and it still looks like you've got an amazing glow.
It gives out the right amount of shimmer without going overboard and this would look amazing on all skin tones, being wary on how much you apply. It's pretty long lasting, I had it on for almost 10 hours at university and I still had a hint of glowing colour.
Absolutely adore this product!

I love this blush! It is a wonderful, rich deep red but with enough shimmer to give pizzaz! It really warms up my nc50 skin and gives a wonderful vibrant lift to my face. Definitely try!

this is for all skin tones, you got to remember a swotch makes no differance, its how you blend it out with a brush. if your lighter skin tone, you will need very little product on brush,, its very very pigmented blush, nice colour, i use with stippling brush or 168 brush and blend out the colour.

This is one of my favorite MAC blushes. It's like a deep, burgundy with little specs of gold. So beautiful on the skin, especially darker skin tones.

I hardly review blushes/lipsticks/eye shadows, because I feel that color is obviously relative to people's skin tones and preferences and lasting power is relative to skin type and the types of products used on your face etc. However, I am in looooove! This blush doesn't have all the hype of many others but it should. For reference I am around NC20 going into NC25 and a little goes a long way. (I just ramble on at this point so you can stop reading if you'd like). I should say that I am neither a MAC fanatic or hater, but when I was looking for a new blush I decided to head to sephora first and nothing really caught my eye. I have a lot of peaches and pinks and peachy-pinks so I wanted something different for the summer. I know that cranberry/burgundy colors are used more in the fall and winter but I thought Hey I'm going to just do me and wear whatever color I feel like. Anyways I was leaning towards NARS amour, but just didn't feel like it was something that I didn't already have and no offense to whoever likes it, but IMHO it was not that special (Also I am not comparing Love Thing and Amour I did not ever look at them side by side, I am just saying they were both in the direction I was heading as far as color). So I didn't get anything that day. To get to the point I was in Macy's the other day and decided to stop at the MAC counter. I wanted fever, they were out and the MUA recommended this and I am soooo glad she did. Like other reviewers say about the mineralized blushes they have shimmer in the pan but only a hint of sheen shows up. Also you do get less product in this, but I feel like it should last just as long. For example I have to dig my brush into pink swoon (I know it is a sheertone, but my other sheertone blushes are not like that) and build it up. I just lightly tapped my stipple brush into this and lightly swept it on and I still went over it with my powder brush to sheer it out a bit. I was starting to feel like I already had any blush color I would need in my collection and did not need anymore (I don't have tons either), but this blush changed my mind and now I want to check out (and buy) all the other mineralized blushes (sorry for the longish story/ramble)

I can say so many great things about "Love Thing", I just don't know where to start. Well, First I definitely am Loving this color. I'm NW45 studio fix or 8.0 in Matchmaster. I bought this after having it applied at the MAC counter in Macy's and i couldn't believe the beautiful look of it.
It brightened up my face and gave me a Fab, Fierce and Flyy "It girl" look.
I will for sure repurchase this when needed. I used to reach for " Raizin' or "Love Joy by Nars" everyday for my blush, but since i found "Love Thing" I don't wear anything else. Ladies, Listen to me TRY, BUY, BUY, BUY, TRY, BUY!!!!!!

I'm an NC 35-40 and Asian, so my yellow undertones don't lend well to pink/red blushes and I tend to stick to coral/peach cheek color. One day at a MAC store, I figured what the heck, I'll ask to see what options I'd have as far as pink/berry toned blush. The MA recommended this and I argued with her about how dark the color was and I really didn't care for the sparkles. She was very patient and yet insistent that I at least give it a try. Boy, I'm glad I did because this just gave me such a natural rosy glow that you wouldn't expect from the pan. It's very pigmented so I apply with a very light hand, but very blendable so you don't look like a clown! I like using a mop brush to apply this to the apples of my cheeks, then blend with a skunk brush. I recommend this for people like me who've shied away from pink blushes for fear of looking like I was playing with my mothers makeup.

I have Love Joy and I LOVE it. I thought I was ready for brighter colors so I ordered Love Thing. It was just too bright for me. I'm not ready for such an obvious blush. I have Love Joy and Sweet As Cocoa and I love those 2 but I haven't reached the bright pink blush stage yet. I'm NC55 for the record.

I never noticed this one until yesterday. It definitely looks like something I would wear.
It is really bright, vibrant burgundy pink color. It's beautiful but it is bright for an everyday blush or I would wear very little of it. I would wear it out at night or to contour with a lighter color. I'm glad I bought it, good to have.

This is one of the prettiest blushes I have tried so far. When I first saw it, it did not grab my attention. I dislike burgundy colored blushes I prefer hot pinks. So my sister purchased it and I decided to b sneaky and try it. OMg!! It looked sooo dark when I opened it up I kinda didn't want to put it on anymore but decided it wouldn't hurt to try. So I put it on lightly on my hand first and found it was really heavily pigmented which was great. So I put it on lightly on my face and it looked sooo great! It was so pretty on my face ( I'm nc 35) and even better with my dark red diva lipstick from Mac. I will definitely purchase my own

Love this ish! so pretty. On my caramel complexion this just screams pretty. It works amazing on tanned complexions and im sure others who are not if done right with the right brush and application. I use my 187 alone and/or sometimes the 168 and just buff it out with the 187 as it is heavily pigmented. Looks great with pink lipsticks or nude colors. I recommend for all to try!

i am in love with this blush! this gives me a really pretty pinkish red to my cheeks and is great for everyday. the only downside is it is $22.00 and has 3g while the regular blushes are $15.00 and the have 6g. but other then that i love it.

This blush looks so amazing with a tan. It gives that wash of color that looks so healthy. It's kind of a raspberry/burgandy color tha has a sheen to it. It isn't glittery at all. Love it. UPDATE: Have been using everyday for a month and have had compliments on it at work. Long lasting also.

This blush looked pretty intimidating in the pan, but it is beautiful on.

Pros - beautiful rosy red glow. long lasting. finely ground bits of gold shimmer in the blush helps to warm up complexion. very pigmented. such a flattering shade.

Cons - none.

I am fair (NW 20 for reference) and used to stick mainly with pink blushes but after using this I prefer reds. Apply with a light hand (a little bit goes a long way). Will definitely repurchase when I run out. This has become my favorite blush and I wear it almost daily.

I love this blush!!! If you have warm skin then you must run out and purchase Love Thing! It looks dark in the pan but is sooo bright on your skin. As others have said - must be applied in coats to avoid looking like Bozo's cousin. I use a stippling brush to apply and it works really well. On my skin (NC43) it gives a warm, girly flush of colour that brightens up my whole face. And the best part is that this blush has staying power! It lasts from 7am to 5pm with minimal fading. Since I use so little at a time, I doubt I'll ever have to repurchase but if for some reason I run out of it - I definitely will!
