Love this colour! Looks really nice on both my pale, white skin and my skin when it has a bit of a tan. Really brightens up my collection. Requires about 2 - 3 coats to make it opaque but I don't mind since it's such a pretty colour.

This is exactly the tangerine-y coral colour that everyone's looking for in their summer pedi. Perfect balance of orange/hot pink that looks great on a tan! I like two coats to create a jelly finish (opaquey creme but also bright) - because at that point, it's still not fully opaque/crazy bright/dark like shown in the bottle. Wide applicator, dries glossy.
I can't stop staring at my toes ... the colour is perfection!

This is a really fun summer color. It's a very, very bright coral (not neon), a bit too light and orange to be red, but it's not an orangey color (at least on me, it's not). Very flattering if you have yellow/olive undertones. Glossy creme finish and typical OPI quality. Would repurchase.

I LOVE this polish!
It's the prettiest coral/orange color!
It's my constant toenail color, and so beautiful.
2 coats, and it's fully opaque and gorgeous!
I soooo reccomend this!

LOVE this color! It's the perfect shade for summer. If I had to describe it, I would call it a tangerine with pink undertones. I've worn it on my fingernails and toenails, but now I'm wearing it just on my toenails. It looks best on those with tans or dark skin tones. It's such a fun flirty shade! :)

Very fun orange/red jelly cream color. Looks like a bright vintage/retro orange-red. Love it on my toes. 2 coats and a top coat, no chips at 6 days :)

I'm not quite sure what to make of this polish. On one hand it's a fun, summery colour which stands out (shy girls stay away! :P), on the other hand it takes 4 coats and STILL isn't fully opaque (I can see my nail line) and isn't flattering on every skin tone. Application was good but as the polish is semi-sheer, it takes quite a few coats. Also, it has a jelly-like finish and leaves my nails looking like some awesome orange flavoured retro candy! While it isn't a must-have by any means, orange lovers will surely love this! I purchased it for $20AUD at David Jones.

I love this colour, its great because its super sheer when it goes on not super bright like the colour in the bottle, you can then add coats to build colour or leave it so its more toned down. This and alpine snow by OPI was my first two OPI polishes. I love it alot and I think it would go nice on any skin tone. I really disliked alpine snow as I have unsteady hands and it was super streaky. but I highly reccommend mod-ern girl for begginners or people who suck at applying nail polish (like me) because it goes on very smooth

IMO it is a hard color. You have to have certern skin tone to wear it nicely. I am light to midium yellow tone skin. Most pink coral will wash out on me. Red-orange is to strong/deep for my taste. Mod-ern girl is melon/orange color in orange side. Very bright. It is not orange orange. There is enough red to tone the orange down a little bit. I won't put it on my finger nails because it is too bright. But it is perfect spring/summer toe color. Perfect in two coats. Fun color.

Love this "jellied" orange-red! Tried it at my nail salon and will purchase soon. My nails reminded me of translucent, plastic candy. Very fun...

This is a fun and summery red-orange creme. Much more orange than Monsooner or Later (my currend pedi). I am really loving orange colored polishes on my tips this summer -- they are great accent to my wardrobe. This is definitely not coral -- there is no pink at all. Application was a breeze. I did 2 coats, but will do 3 next time for full opacity. I used Seche Vite as a top coat for extra gloss. Highly recommend this polish!

Probably my favourite colour from OPI. I have been on the search FOREVER for the perfect red orange that makes my hand look fair and airy. This compliments my skin perfectly and makes my fingers look super pale and well-cared for. It is bright red orange, I would say more orange than red, and definitely MOST DEFINITELY not coral. So you coral search girls stay away from this. It is super glossy, one coat is enough, 2-3 coats for super opaque coverage. Does not chip too much like all OPI colours and just plain gorgeous. Love it sooo much.

I just got this from Trade Secret today less than 2 hours ago and I already put it on. It was 30% off so I figured I would try it because I had been eyeing it. I love it on my dark skin and even though its December the orange agaisnt my brown skin definetely reminds me of fall and pumpkin pie :-) I finished it off with Seche Vite and its super shiny and cute.

First of all, let me say that I'm in eternal search of the perfect coral nail polish and have tried and own a big bunch of coral nps. That being said, when OPI released Mod-ern Girl I naturally jumped at it after seeing gorgeous pics here.

Mod-ern Girl is a mid-tone coral creme leaning a bit towards orange in the bottle. Sadly, on me there's nothing coral about it, it's just full on orange-red with a somewhat muted quality to it (I have fair and warmish skin) - not nice at all. I've seen comments that Mod-ern Girl is has a jelly finish, but in my opinion it's just a normal creme and needs 3 coats to be fully opaque.

Additionally, my bottle had a wonky brush w/ stray bristles (like many OPIs did in spring/summer 2008), so I need to take lippies of the packaging quality.

So all in all, this was a disappointment for me. However, I know many people love this color, so it probably is just a question of having the right skin tone for it.

This is probably my favorite color in OPI's new "Mod About Brights" line. I'm not the best at color description, but I'd say it looks like a melon/coral color, very saturated and bright. It is quite watery because of OPI's change in formula, but this doesn't bother me because the quality is still fantastic. It took me three thin coats to achieve the look I wanted, but it dried pretty quick for me (about five minutes per coat). After the final coat dried I applied a topcoat and it didn't chip or flake for at least four days. It probably would have lasted longer but I use my nails quite a bit at work. Anyway, I LOVE this color and highly recommend it to those who like bright, bold polish colors.

I really like the colour of this nail polish, its so bright and fun for summer!
Its like an orangey coral colour. I had to put on about 3 coats and it took about half an hour to dry which i thought was pretty much ridiculous.

Lovely. this is a semi-sheer which can be built up to opaque with 3 coats. It's simultaneously bright and understated. I'd call it a deep papaya colour. It's sort of orange, sort of coral and very beautiful. I haven't tried it on my toes yet since I have been on a neon kick for them lately but it looked gorgeous on my fingernails. i have dark olive/tanned skin by the way.
