Non greasy and you don't need to apply a lot for the cream to moisturize. I really like the botanical smell and I have noticed my skin still feels hydrated even after washing my hands. It is pricey.

I've been searching for almost a decade for a good hand cream (no, I am not kidding). I'm on my second tube and my search for a HG hand cream is finally over. I love that this cream sinks into my skin quickly without leaving behind any greasy residue. It's repaired my dry, cracked skin and worked wonders on my cuticles.

Just okay, nothing special, in my experience. The scent is okay, but I don't enjoy it nearly as much as the smell of other Aveda products. Just like the Foot Relief, I think it's decent, but that there are many other better and cheaper hand/foot creams out there, and at a lower price. I like that it's not greasy, but it just doesn't do anything for my hands but provide a little moisture that doesn't last long at all. I'll use it up, but definitely won't repurchase.

I first received this product in a trial size and was immediately hooked. I really like this hand moisturizer. It isn't greasy and has a pleasant smell. I rotate between several moisturizers during the dry winter months and this is one of the best I've tried.

I just bought a pro size: 8 oz on E-bay for only $38. This is one of my favorite hand creams. It stays on through mutiple hand washes, and makes your hand so soft. Incredibly rich moisture therapy soothes dry, chapped hands-leaving them noticeably softer and smoother. Hydrating plant emollients, humectants, exfoliating fruit acids and anti-oxidants-including vitamins A and E-help diminish signs of aging and provide optimal relief. Increases moisture levels and elasticity in skin with continued use.

I LOVE THIS HANDCREAM!

I hate creams that are too greasy or oily or leave a weird filmy feeling. This cream absorbs in and leaves my hands feel so soft!

I used to hate this - not because it wasn't effective but because I really hated the smell (citrusy). But after using it on clients, it grew on me enough for me to purchase it for myself. I keep the small travel size in my bag and use it whenever I wash my hands or use hand sanitizer or whenever my hands need a little bit of moisture. I used to have dry peeling cuticles and I am serious - this stuff completely healed them. It even makes my hands look younger. I think we all get caught up in anti-aging for our face but I've found this is awesome for anti aging of hands (just as important!) definitely a staple for me to have in my purse.

This is a great moisturizer for my really dry/cracking hands. I wash my hands about 40 times per day (no, not OCD, just have young kids and we all get sick a lot) so I'm always looking for a great hand cream. I got a large sample of this and have been using it for two weeks. This feels great and has really helped my hands but the smell is really strange. I can't quite figure out what the smell is - kind of botanical, kind of chemical, kind of black cherry cough syrup. Maybe some people would like the smell? It doesn't have that great classic Aveda smell unfortunately. If it did, I would definitely buy the full size.

This is certainly a great product. It provide my dry hands with enough moisture. Smooth out the texture and make it feel great. Really, I wish my face was as hydrated, smooth and soft. Before I use this, I always get dry flaky patches on my hand. It will appear wrinkling quiet frequently. But now it much better. I don't use this every day. Only during times when my hands felt dry. Therefore, it last my ages. So worth the cash. Would totally recommend those who look for basic hand care.

For free? This is great! For the suggested retail of $8? Still pretty great. Smells spicy-sweet from the essential oils that Aveda is famous for. Not too thick - but not thin and runny, either. A good lotion consistency. Creamy yet not too greasy. Good stuff!

This is my HG!! I need to have this on me at all times!! I carry the travel size for air travel and the full size all the time. I used to always use Loccitane's hand cream but found the smell too overwhelming and it too greasy. I love this lotion and how it smells. My skin feels incredible and this absorbs well. It costs a lot but I am one that spends outrageous amounts on all cosmetics anyway.

This is my favorite hand cream. During winter months I get extremely dry hands. It worsened when I moved to the Pacific Northwest for school. This is the only cream I can use that will get rid of the dry skin yet still allow me to type in class right after application. I hate greasy hand lotions. It's difficult when you're in class with dry hands because you need a moisturizer that won't make your laptop keyboard all oily or make it impossible to write because the pen keeps slipping out (if you're a student then you know what I'm talking about). This is the only thing that has worked for me. On top of everything, I LOVE the scent. I have extremely sensitive nose to the point that I get migraines from too much perfume. However the scent of the hand cream is amazing. It smells citrusy and clean. Everytime I whip it out in class everyone always comments what a wonderful smell it has.
I would give 5 lippies but its a bit pricey for a poor ole grad student.

Got this as an early Christmas present from my Aveda stylist. Have only been using it for 2 days but already love it and know I will purchase when I run out. It does not leave my hands feeling greasy, just moisturized and soft. Not sure why some people have a problem with the scent. I don't find it to be at all peppery or in-your-face. It's very light and citrusy to me. Nice :)

I am an Aveda student and although I don't like most of their products the rating on this product does not surprise me at all. This stuff is amazing. I have keratosis pilaris which is basically little red bumps commonly found on the arms thighs and hips of 80% or so of women and occasionally men as well. This is probably the most hydrating lotion that Aveda carries in any line. I don't just use it on my hands, I use it all over! It drastically improved my moderate keratosis. The great thing about this product is that it claims to stay on for 3 hand washes and I believe it does. This product is most commonly bought by nurses. I'm an STNA, and my sister is a nurse and with all the hand washing we do this stuff really helps keep our hands from drying out. I am one of the most frugal people out there and I have to say even if I did not get my student discount I still think I would buy it full price.

Gorgeous, smells soooooo nice! Sort of a sugary scent to me.
Works a treat i.e. moisturises without being greasy and you only need a very small amount so it lasts well.
I have only bought the travel size as it is handbag friendly but I can see myself buying the regular size just in case they go and do something silly like discontinue this baby.

i usually hate hand creams. they're all too greasy to the point where you need to wipe them off and then it just defeats the whole purpose of using them. hand relief sinks right in. i literally just put it on before typing all of this. it also smells very nice too. kind of like orange peels. the tube is very large and you need less than a dime size amount for both hands. it is expensive at first but you're paying for the quality ingredients. overall, this makes my hands super moisturized, non-greasy, and even softens and smoothes my cuticles.

Super product. I have dry, sensitive hands that tend to get exzema. This is a thick, rich cream that leaves my hands like velvet and best of all I get no scent at all. Lord I hate the cheap crap they scent products with that compete with fragrance I've spent a fortune on. Thank you Aveda for putting in everything that counts and leaving out the garbage. Holy Grail stuff for me. Got a small tube to try and I'm going out tomorrow for a couple of the large. Really,if you have dry hands, I beg you to try this, you will thank me!

I am the cheapest person ever, but even I splurged on this HG hand cream!

I got a small sample for Christmas, and was HOOKED! I practially ran out to buy a replacement when I ran out.

This stuff took care of my dry hands like nothing else could. I use it at night before bed and in the morning before I leave for work and my hands are finally soft again (yeah). I suffer from all kinds of dryness in the winter, and the hands take a real beating.

I have tried lots of other lotions, vaseline, and aquaphor and this one beat out the rest. If you have dry A$$ hands like I did, give it a shot!!

I love the way this creamy hand lotion smells and feels. It is very moisturizing, and uplifting at the same time.
