I can't believe it worked, but it did!

I have bad dark spots from acne scarring, and I hated them. I would never go out without some sort of cover up for them, be it proper concealer or even a dusting of face powder. A friend got me this at a discount (she works for a beauty store) and it worked wonders! My dark spots have lightened significantly and I am confident enough to emerge from my apartment without anything covering them -- you can still see them but they don't look crazy obvious any more.

Also awesome is that when a blemish forms and is on the heal, I put this on the flattened, post-burst healing bump and it tends to not leave any dark spot at all. Win!

I've been using it for a few months and I'm very happy with this. Even if it's pricey and I'll probably have to buy it at full price soon, I'm dropping the $'s.

This is the product that has me hooked on the Fresh skin care line.

The SA at Sephora told me that this brightened her face faster than the Caudalie vinotreatment. So I picked this up and fell in love. The first couple of months it was a huge 'wow' factor. My face had a beautiful glow and I didn't need foundation.

I don't notice a glow so much anymore, but I've been using the Fresh line so my skin is in better shape.

I plan to try the exfoliation kit next.

Love this stuff!! Been using it for just a month and my skin has improved drastically. Soon as I turned 40, I found even more age spots and tried various creams and peels with no success. Now, I see a brighter complexion and my age spots are lightening as well as some old acne scars. I will definitely keep on using, the Appleseed line is my HG skin care line now.

I love this product. It brightens my combo skin without breaking me out. It soaks in quickly and brightens subtly over the first couple weeks, then a bit more over the months. I would buy this product again, especially if I becomea millionaire.

I started with a sample of both this and the new Appleseed Brightening Scrub back in January and I was impressed with both right away. Since the product didn't launch for a few weeks I ran out of the Essence sample in about a week but the Scrub lasted quite some time so I made that purchase first and committed myself to finishing off some of my other serums before shelling out the 95 dollars for the new Essence. I lasted 3 weeks before I broke down and bought the Essence. I am a huge fan of the Appleseed line. The Peel is amazing, the scrub is excellent and now that I have been using the Appleseed Brightening Essence for two months now I can give you a pretty solid review.

First off the Essence is brightening and has properties that will give you a subtle effect on day one but it's main purpose it to deal with hyperpigmentation, freckles, age spots and even something called a pregnancy mask by turning off the melatonin (that is why you have to use it consistently and 2x a day). It's a natural based lightening serum and I am pleased to tell you it does work and work well. I have freckles and hyperpigmentation then is typical of someone in their mid 30's, lives in California and has Irish and English lineage and my results are very good and I've not even finished the bottle.

This serum is easy to use and has not bothered my sensitive skin at all. It has a pleasant green apple scent and absorbs easily. I wash my face, do my masks or not, toner (lazy maybe not) then apply the Essence and follow with my moisturizer. During the day I use sunscreen. It's made to be used twice a day and in place of your other serums so if you were on the Anise/Mamaku serum plan like me you replace this one product for those until you achieve your desired results. I like the feel of this serum very much, it's light yet non drying and does not interfere with makeup application or make my skin red or weird in any way. I am using this with the Appleseed peel and the scrub so I'm sure I'm getting optimal results and maybe faster results but honestly this is a winner. I have tried lightening creams and lotions like Obagi Clear and NARS lightening creme and this works just as well and from my understanding does not have some of the chemical issues Obagi does (not that I don't think that is a great product because it is as well as the NARS) and is more a natural lightening product though I cannot at this point remember the specifics of this. I was skeptical since I tried other natural lighteners like Bliss Liver Spot Remover which was crap and a waste of my money and a month of my skin care routine.

I'm fighting freckling and hyperpigmentation that is a shade or two darker than my skin tone. What I noticed after a few weeks was I could see my freckles more clearly. At first I thought the product was not working but I now know it faded the hyperpigmentation so I was seeing freckles up against a consistent background and my face finally matched my neck which I love. As I continue on with it I am seeing the freckles fade and the overall tone become more even. This is a great product and I recommend all of the Appleseed stuff from Fresh very highly. I hope they add new products as they go along.
