Picked this up at Poundland so it was bargain! Never used a mouse bronzer before, love the consistency. Very smooth, velvety feel. Goes on smoothly, blends nicely too. My only downside is that i'm an NC42, and i got this in shade 3 and it doesn't show up that well on my skin. Its a bit too close to my skin tone, and I doubt it will stay for 8 hours. Apart from that for £1 can't really complain.

I have tried this on my hand at a drugstore and I like the medium color (even though I am very fair), not orangey at all. I have my doubts about its resistence in hot weather but all the great reviews here convinced me to buy and try it because my Clarins Self-bronzer leaves streaks because of the really hot weather and I am not crazy about streaks on my face.
So thanks everyone so far for the detailed reviews for this product because I am really attracted to it due its good price and the fact that it is washable (so any mistakes just go away with one splash!) but all Rimmel products I ever bought made me regret I didn't invest in something a little more expensive but of better quality (like Revlon or L'Oreal) so I am sceptical but hopeful now because those two don't have a bronzing mousse yet!

I am in love with this bronzer!

I apply it with my MAC 109 brush. I barely tap the brush into the product, then I blend on one part of my face at a time: forehead and nose, cheeks, and a bit on my chin/jawline. It takes only a very small amount for each area.

Even though I am very fair, I got this in the medium shade because the light one looked really orange. It blends nicely and looks very natural, and stays on all day. It's a lot higher quality than you would expect for the price, and it will last me a long time because it only takes a tiny dab each time.

They only had medium glow, so I bought it asap. I tested it a dab in the store and was pretty impressed. It went on cooling and was rather sheer and natural. The major plus is it stays on! I think I love it and even though it's a small jar.. about the same size as the Maybelline mousse, a little goes a long way. $7 at CVS. It's not easy to find and I've also found that Walmart does not restock fast enough! It's still on my hand, so I wonder if it will still be there in the morning. This could be my current fave bronzer in this form. It's a cream that turns to liquid when you touch the surface.

another of my Rimmel love/hate products!
I have this in the lighter of the two shades, and im quite fair skinned with pink undertones. I used this just on my cheeks over foundation & powder and really like the finished bronze look it gives. It looks like chocolate mousse! othing at all like Maybellines mousse foundation/bronzer/eye colours, nothing at all! they feel quite dry and soft, where as this feels wet! I personally like the texture, its a cooling product, so it feels lovely and cool to be applied. I sued my fingers, i dont think a brush would work that well with the texture of this product. I use a tiny bit on my ring finger, and blend on my cheeks starting by my eyes and bleing down my cheekbones. you have to be quick with the blending as it 'sets' very quickly. i apply a tiny bit to being with, and then maybe layer it again to give the desired effect. the pot is quite chunky, not really ideal for taking around in your handbag but u do get alot of product for your money and it will last ages! at only £4.99 a pot, it is well worth the money.

the bronzer does last all day, as claimed. overall, a great bronzer for the money, but maybe not a great purchase for people that are not great at blending.
