My skin actually absorbs this lotion and my face is left very smooth. It smells nice considering it has salicylic acid. I only use this at night during the day I use one with spf. Overall it’s a great night time lotion with an acne fighting ingredient.

This is the first time I have been able to use a moisturizer consistently without making my skin break out. It is light and absorbs quickly with no greasy residue but is still quite effective. There is a slight tingle that feels cooling. The product contains a small amount of salicylic acid (0.05%) but I do not think this is enough to have much effect on pores. Hope this is never discontinued.

This gave me tiny pimples on my forehead which i don't get. My breakout areas are my cheeks. I gave this to my teenage brother and he seems to like it

I can't believe I am using a Clean & Clear product at 28, but I'm really happy with this. My skin is combination to oily, with occasional breakouts on my cheeks. I was using Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion with good results, but in an effort to save money I looked for a drugstore moisturizer to alternate with. For $5, I figured this was worth a try.

I started gradually, using it in the afternoons after work before going to bed, in case my skin reacted poorly to the ingredients, then began using it overnight. I was experiencing a pretty bad breakout on my cheek when I used this for the first time overnight, and the next morning the pimples and redness were actually diminished, which has never happened to me from a product before! I also felt like the fine lines that have begun to appear on my forehead were less noticeable. This moisturizer also leaves my skin feeling clean, not greasy. It does tingle slightly on my cheeks for the first 30 minutes or so after application, but in a "clean, I can tell it's working" kind of way. My skin isn't at all sensitive to products, so this may be a problem for some.

A word of caution--keep it away from your eyelids. After a couple uses on my eyelids I noticed a slight stinging and that my lids dried out pretty noticeably. A couple days with a different lotion on my lids corrected it quickly though.

Bottom line, if you are on the oily side and with mild breakouts, this is an effective, inexpensive product.

Edit/Update: After using this consistently for a few weeks, I haven't had any new pimples, and only a couple easily extracted clogs, which is a definite improvement over my skin before I discovered this. Very pleased!

This product has been amazing for me! I've tried tons of moisturizers high and low end and they've all clogged my pores or left my skin flaky or greasy. I was afraid the SA would irritate my sensitive skin but since it's at .5 SA it's not enough to irritate, but enough to even out my skin tone ( helped a lot on small acne hyper pigmentation) which was a pleasant surprise. It leaves my dry skin perfectly balanced and when I wake up my skin is super soft, not greasy. The best part no breakouts, and it's only 5 dollars. Definitely worth the buy :)

I grabbed this product because I was at my wit's end with acne after a year of Retin-A and several months of Diane 35 oral acne medicine.

This is my second day with it and I'm layering it under Bioderma Photoderm MAX Sunscreen and Holika Holika BB cream. So far it's drying up my spots. I would say this definitely works. I use it with the Neutrogena type Oil Free Acne Wash, only I use the Up and Up generic.

So I bought it the other day because I just happened to forget to bring a moisturiser after a yoga class when I showered so I went to the pharmacy and got this, I have heard a ton about clean & clear products but have only tried the soap years ago! So I picked this one up and was super excited because it has salicylic acid! I have a blemish on my cheek so I am looking forward to this removing it. I have combination skin and so at the moment its not moisturising enough for winter.. I would love it when it is summer though. A little tingly when applied and the smell is weird. But other than that I like it

I like this moisturizer. I don't use it every day though, only if I have a few break outs.
I wish the smell wasn't so overbearing. although I do think it smells pretty!
I like that it leaves a tingly feeling on your face when you apply it.
I wouldn't recommend it to people with dry skin, because its not that moisturizing.
And if you have super sensitive skin I don't recommend using it every single day. (which is why I use it every once an awhile) Be sure not to use it near your eyes.
