Bleh...I am not sure how else to describe these. I have these in Pomegranate and Lemonade. They do not provide any color payoff. Just very shiny and VERY sticky. Usually sticky lip glosses don't bother me, but these seriously take sticky to a whole new level..i.e. don't even attempt to walk outside with these as your hair will become permanently lodged in your lips. So I started wearing these at night since they are so darn sticky. BAD bad bad idea. My chin started breaking out like crazy. I had no freaking clue why, and then it dawned on me that it started when I started wearing these glosses at night. I guess this would wander down on my chin as I tossed/turned and voila breakouts!!
Obvi, not going to be buying these again. They are pricey too for no real reason or benefit. I will say that Philosophy's other lip glosses that do have some color pay off (rasberry sorbet, something like that) are really good, but skip these. They taste/smell good but thats about it!!

I love the smell, however, it's quite sticky and there is no real color payoff. It's really just a clear gloss that is tinted to look like a color. Sad, because I love Philosophy skin care.

I bought a set of three gelatos from QVC. I've always loved Kiss Me, so I thought these would be similar - just in different flavors. Wrong! They're nothing like Kiss Me. They're thinner and they're very tacky. I have pomegranite, grapefruit and tangerine, and while they all smell great, I really don't like the feel. They're not a real gloss, IMO. I put one on before I go to bed at night, and in the morning, most of it's gone, but that tackiness is still there. I just can't love that. Kiss Me will always be HG for me.

I got this as part of my philosophy package in pink melon. The description in the catalog says it is suppose to give your lips a plumper look. I'm torn about this product.
It does do what it says, giving my lips a fuller look, but something about it is... painful to me. When I initially put it on, it stings my lips for about 2 minutes, and when the sensation goes away it dries them out.
I continue to use it though, because it does what it advertises, but it is an uncomfortable feeling, and if it wasn't for the fact that it comes with my package I probably would not purchase it again.

I love love love this! It's not sticky at all. Not too thick and it lasts quite a while. It's wonderful, one of the best glosses I've ever had. I will definitely be buying again.

Love this gloss - i have it in grapefruit and it shines and softens and is not sticky or tacky which drives me insane in other glosses. Nice mellow flavor also. Perfect for casual wear.

I got this in a former TSV kit in the melon flavor. These gelatos are best used by squeezing a tiny amount on your pinky and then onto your lips. It smells nice, the moisturization is good, and it gives the lips a clear glossy sheen. The regular philosophy lip slicks (in lemon custard, ice-cream man, gingerbread man, etc.) are more tacky (in a good way), these are more smooth in texture. Perfect for the summertime.

I'll just comment on the flavor for this one since I've got a full review for the lemonade version. The flavor is delicious. It's a "soft" citrus...tropical and true to tangerine. No citrus bite to this, but if you crave that, there is a grapefruit version. I'm still trying to get my hands on the pomegranate...

First off i want to say that I am a major fan of philosophy's original lip shines- They have amazing shine, great texture and beautiful shimmer without chunky glitter. So when I saw the lip gelato's I assumed it would be the same product- Wrong. First off the consistancey is ALOT thinner and more watery like. It also has a werid texture because while it's not sticky, everytime i would talk i would get "strings" of lip gloss that streches out from in between my lips. Very strange and hard to describe. Even when i put a small amount on- these strands of gloss would connect my lips together everytime i opened my mouth. They have MINIMAL shine- more like a balm than a shiny gloss in my opinion. While the smell is amazing and the taste is good, i don't buy gloss for that reason. I buy it for shine so back to sephora it goes. I do have to admit that these moisturize alot more than the lipshines and feel better on the lips so if your looking for a lip treatment for dry lips go for it but if you want a glossy look then pass on it. I even tried to layer it over my other lipsticks/glosses and it made a mess out of it (something i always successfully do with the lipshines). One last thing, i got the pomegranite, grapefruit and tangerine (sephora set that came with all 3 for $25) and no matter what color they are in the tube they all appear clear. No color what so ever or shimmer (opposite of the lipshines)
