I got the newer version of this, in the white tube and it's more of a lipstick or tinted chapstick. I like the color but it just doesn't apply on my lips well... It sort of just settles into the lines in my lips and looks weird. I got a darker color (Spring Berries) and it didn't happen at all with that one. It seems like most mineral based lipsticks in lighter colors do this on my lips, they aren't drying or anything but just sort of have a "chalky" texture.

I both like and dislike this lipgloss, the current version that I have is the one released in the newer white tube which is slightly different than the one in the older reviews here which was in a brown chapstick tube and was a more sheer color and also had problems with dry texture etc. What I like about this gloss - the color, and the all natural ingredients. I really like putting something on my lips that isnt going to result in my ingesting chemicals. The color is a frosty pale pink, which really works for a frosty pink nude on me. Its not quite as opaque as a regular lipstick, which is nice, the color doesnt appear quite so garish as what you normally think of frosty pink. But the texture of this 'gloss' is definitely more lipstick than gloss - and a matte one at that. This isnt drying like the previous version, but I still wouldnt call it moisturizing. This isnt a horrible gloss, I really like the color and natural ingredients that outweigh the lacking texture for me but I wouldnt give this the highest praise since it is still lacking in important ways.

Why call it pink lemonade when it's a lilac color. Reminded me of the 80's, but looked like I had frotsbite.

At first it went on smoothly, but after a while it turned grainy. Also it made my lips dry out.

The packaging sucks. I have no idea why they think it's a good thing that the bullit sticks out of the tub.

This is a horrible lip gloss. I can't even believe they call it a gloss. There is nothing glossy about it. The color is a horrific pink that looks worse than something I wore in the 80s. It turned grainy and dried out within two weeks. The packaging is stupid too, when you go to put the cap on you nick the lip gloss. I hate their lip glosses but this one is the worst shade.

I hate the colour of this. It is a pale, pink, frosty shimmer that makes me look absolutely dead. Horrible formula too, that goes on uneven even if used with a brush.

First let's start with the packaging. When I received this there was no product coming out no matter how much I twist the bottom of the tube. I e-mailed EM's customer service and they told me to tap the product on a hard surface. Tried it ... no results. I e-mailed back...no response. Then out of frustation I knock the tube with a heavy piece of metal for about 5 minutes (you have to hit it really hard) and voila...it worked. The product feels good on the lips, and this is the perfect lip balm/lip gloss if you like whitish frosty color. I mean the color is really frosty, like someone put dried toothpaste on your lips. It makes me look like a zombie.

I love EM, but I have to say, their lip gloss is terrible! I received two as free gifts on two separate occasions, Pink Lemonade & Coffee. They're great the first couple of times you use them, but then they dry out. I don't know how lip gloss does that, but this stuff does. They become unusable they're too hard & rough on my lips. I tossed them both. Don't waste your money!

There is absolutely nothing special about this lip balm/gloss whatever you want to call it.
They make it sound so good and your actually doing something good for your lips with added ingredients like pomegranite, tucuma butter. mango butter etc etc.....
Reality, I have bought cheap lip balm from the 2 dollar shop that has superior quality to this.
Smells bad, isn't moisturising, does not give good coverage, patchy at best, no gloss and has absolutely no lasting power.
The actual tube looks and is cheap and nasty.
I bought two shades of this and both of them won't wind up.
Sorry, I usually love EDM but these lipglosses are a total waste of money.

At first I didn't like this because I expected something really glossy. But after having used it, I love it. It's like a tinted chapstick. Very soothing and doesn't dry out my lips when I skip (which is what happens when i use chapstick and other petrolatum balms) It's also slightly tinted and shimmery. Love the product, but hate the packaging. It's like a cheap looking chapstick. The cap kept falling off when it's in my purse.

UPDATE: I do notice that lips flake more after using this but I don't know if it's because this think forces dead skin cells out faster or if it is the cause of the flaking.

I actually really like this gloss. I knew ahead of time that it was more of a tinted balm, and that's what I wanted- can't stand sticky lip glosses. It gives a nice shine and a subtle light pink color to my lips- my lips are pretty pigmented so it tones them down a little which I like. It's super moisturizing... does smell a little odd though. Mine isn't grainy at all, in fact it's super smooth. I'd definitely buy it again.
ETA: Over time every lip gloss I've bought from Everyday Minerals gets so hard and grainy it's virtually unusable. :(

I hate EDM for making me believe this was:
1. a gloss
2. a beautiful pink color

This is a balm or chapstick, not a gloss. This is also a frostish clear color, not a pink color. I HATE frost anything. I threw this out immediately after putting it on. It doesn't moisturize, and it looks like a $.50 kids' chapstick on. Will not repurchase any "glosses" from them. Suckers.

Very drying- made my lips peel. Very matte finish, not glossy. Color was not bad but not great.

I can't decide if I like this color or not. I expected a light pink, when it's actually a shimmery nude. It's also not really a lipgloss like the others are saying. It doesn't give your lips the same wet and luscious look. It looks and feels like a chapstick. I don't mind the product itself, but it's not like what I thought it would be so I wouldn't buy it again if I'm looking for a lipgloss.

A+++ for this being a vegan product!! I put that I wouldn't buy this product again based on the fact that it has a pearly sheen to it. My lips have a lot of lines in them and I find pearly sheens make them look more wrinkly and not healthy. Also, there is virtually no color to it. I put it on my lips and thought I just picked a shade close to my natural lip color, but when I looked at the balm in the light, it was a slightly pink taupe (my lips are a little more purple). Then I tested it on my hand to see how the color dispersed, and found that the color, for some reason, does not show up at all. Also, there is some ingredient in it that dries my lips out and shreds the top most layer. So while I am not disappointed with the price, I feel it's justified, I'm disappointed that it's not really lip gloss at all, just a slightly tinted balm.

Oh goodness no. I feel bad giving this a low review as it was a GWP and all but no...no..no. Maybe it's just my skin-tone but this was a frosty, lilac colored mess. It's described as a baby pink on the EM website. I saw no pink. I agree with the previous review: this is almost white! It did, however, seem pretty moisturizing for the few minutes I had it on. Hopefully, the other gloss colors are more wearable.

For me, the EM lip gloss is more of a glossy balm. Perhaps it's psychological since the tube is shaped like a chapstick... but I think the texture is similar too. It's fairly dry and I don't find it particularly moisturizing. But since gloss doesn't necessarily have to moisturize... most of what I don't like about this is the color. While I do like pale lip, this one is not a very flattering one. It's almost too white and I can't imagine it looking good on anyone. Definitely doesn't look good on me or my daughter. I didn't see much pink in it either, most of the shimmer was white/silvery.

I should mention that I did not "buy" this product, it was GWP.... but if given the opportunity to buy it in the future, I would pass so I answered NO to the buy-the-product-again question.

This is one of EM newest lip gloss shades, I received it as a sample and I find it moisturizes well. It is more of a BALM than a gloss and it comes in a pretty basic twist up plastic tube. However, its a VERY frosty pale pink color with a slight shimmer to it. I use it mostly when I go out for a run, because nobody is really looking at my face and it makes my lips feel soft and conditioned no matter what the weather is like. This is $4 on their new site, and its a vegan product. However, I can buy Jane's Mineral Pure Lip Balm for about $3 at Wal Mart/CVS and it moisturizes just as well..and comes tinted also. I wouldn't repurchase.
