I absutley LOVE this stuff! I know and I've read a bunch of the reviews saying "this sucks" and those things, but to me it is amazing! I use this mostly for my eyes to highlight them and make them shimmer, as well I use it for a base if I wear eyeshadow that day, great on it's own though. It's hydrating, glowing, and a wonderful light colour. They do have it in a deeper shade though, but I use the light one. It blends really easily, and I can spread it anywhere with my fingers to make my face glow when I didn't get a lot of sleep that night. It really transforms my face from zombie to radiant! Absolutely love this stuff, such a great product, a MUST HAVE in my beauty drawer. Wait! I forgot to mention it is pricey, like 25$ for a jar! I got mine as a gift though so it didn't cost me a cent, and I get this miracle stuff! I couldn't ask for more, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

I agree with a previous reviewer that this products makes no sense. I have literally not had any clue how to use it. It is very clunky, chunky and in a tiny jar that is hard to get it out. I tried this in the inner corners of my eyes and it is too subtle. There is no difference for when I use this and when I don't. I like the idea of it supposed to be multi-use and my the skin look radiant. The problem is that it does not do that. I do not think this is worth the money considering it makes no difference and you have to fight to get it out of the jar and to spread it on the face it so hard because it is not a liquid nor a powder.

I've searched for years for something that will cover undereye circles and not look too heavy, and this it IT. Love it. I used a flat concealer brush to pat it in the corner of my eye and down over the shadow, and *poof*, shadows gone. It hasn't settled into fine lines, either, which is so wonderful. Put my mmu over it no problem. I won't be w/o this from now on.

This is one of those "I don't get it" products. It's supposed to be a subtle luminizer amongst other things, but it's so subtle that I see nothing at all on my NC35. I'm not a pre-teen and don't want glitter all over my face, but at the same time I would expect some sort of sheen with this, which I was barely getting. It's also very dense and way too hard to spread. I can't imagine using this as a primer under f/d...how long would it take to get all over your face since it's so hard to spread in the first place?? Maybe as an under-eye primer? No idea. Anyway, I should've returned this considering it's been sitting on my dresser for way too long. I will try to see what I can do with it so I can make SOME use out of it, and maybe I will update the lippie rating if I get some success...as of now though it was a waste of money...

I saw this in my recent Loulou Magazine and had to try it. I bought this at Sephora for $28 Cdn (iirc). There were 2 shades Champagne and Deep - I am reviewing Champagne.
I do agree with the other reviews in that the packaging could have been a little more user friendly. However, this product is gold, Jerry! Its Gold! (hah).
Ok so it is in a more solid form than any other highlighters I have, but it doesn't make it a bad thing. I can see this product lasting a long time.
According to the product description : "Doubleglow7 is a luminous face balm that gives instant radiance and clarity to the skin whether worn under, over, or instead of foundation.
Worn under makeup, Doubleglow7 acts as a primer, creating the perfect canvas for flawless foundation application. When worn over makeup it gives the skin that “oomph” that you might get after a day at the spa or an extra three hours of sleep.
Doubleglow7 contains seven essential skin nourishing ingredients: Jojoba, Aloe Vera, Lily Extract and Illuminating Pearls as well as Vitamins A, E and F. These seven secret weapons conspire to give you gorgeous, glowing skin"
I prefer to use it over foundation, to give that glowy sheen. I love how the shimmer in this is so fine, its undetected. On my skin, I get a luminous nude glow. I dab a bit on my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, and it looks super fab on lips for a natural glow.
So far it has not made my skin break out, nor does it look greasy after a days wear.
Overall, I absolutely adore this product, and I welcome it to my arsenal of glowy highlighters.

As you can judge from the reviews already, it surely isn't 'hit or miss'. It's just a bad product for mostly everyone. Even after I read all the reviews I could find online, I didn't expect it to be a solid. It's solid. Not cream or liquid. The glow it gives is just so-so. It's not overly glittery or chunky, all of which is good, but the glow it gives isn;'t very natural, and it's derived from shimmer, not a sheen. My ideal highlighters give a dewy sheen, not a shimmery reflection.
Yeah, and the little glass pot? fail. It's unsanitary and hard to get the product out with anything other than one finger, and it'll take quite a while to apply to your whole face or large areas like the c area and along the nose bridge. It's funny, because although I read all of this, I didn't expect it to suck so horribly in person. It's really a mediocre product. For the money, there are many, many greater highlighters out there.

I will probably never stop using this product. I use it as a primer for my eyeshadow and highlighter on my brow bone and inner corners. It's subtle and not overdone. Stays on great and gives you a dewy look.

Seems like this prod is hit or miss with people. I was very excited to try and get this once it came but it did not work for me at all. I wasn't expecting such a thick products, something more thinner and creamy. I tried using this using less, using more and really didn't get any affect or at least the not the one I was expecting. I returned it to sephora. The container is a pain to get it out of with your fingers or even a brush, they should make it like a thin blush container, like the Nars containers for the creamy blush so you can apply it easier that would be a better idea than this tiny booty jar that you can't even get to fingers into easily,,,pain.

Ok, first let me say that I have looked for YEARS for a true "glow". NOT a sparkle, NOT a shimmer. Im not 12 anymore, Im 29, so I wanted a grown up GLOW. And this is it. Is it like a spotlight on your face that says Im wearing a highlighter? No. But thats not really what most people want when they say "glow". It is a simple and subtle luminosity. I wouldnt use this product under a foundation, because I dont know that the subtle glow would come through. I do agree that this pot it comes in is AWFUL. Its too small for even delicate fingers to effectively ghet it out. But the luminosity is worth it.

I love the way my skin looks when I have time to put this on under my bare minerals makeup. It helps sort of 'stick' the makeup to my face for longer and I look much more awake/healthy with it on. It's the kind of product that I really miss when I'm in a hurry and forget to wear it. I warm up a smidge in the center of my palm and then smooth over cheeks, brow bone, chin, and forehead. Quickly becoming part of my morning routine.

I like this for the days I don't feel like wearing foundation or powder. It's thick but glides on easy and it covers well. It looks more natural then some of the other luminizers I have tried. SO if your looking for the fairy or angelic look, I don't think this would work.

The DuWop Doubleglow7 is a cream product in a glass pot. I tried to use it as a highlighter for the upper cheekbone area and found that it really didn't do a lot. I went back to using my MAC pigment or my Bobbi Brown shimmerbrick for that purpose.

I bought this from Sephora the other day, and it's being returned ASAP. I really wanted to like this (I love anything that has the word "glow" in it) but I'm so disappointed in this product!
First, it's tiny, and the packaging makes it really hard to get out unless you use a makeup sponge. But even then it's really thick and difficult to put on.
Once I managed to get some out and put some on my cleansed face (before my makeup application) it looked like nothing. Nothing! And my face didn't "glow", it was greasy and shiny with no radiant color whatsoever.
I gave it the benefit of the doubt, however, and decided to put my makeup on after it and see if it looked any better. Ummm....no, it didn't. In fact, it made my face look like it was almost "melting" off. And boy was my face shiny! It looked oily and greasy, and shined like a stoplight. It made my makeup look absolutely awful.
It says that you can put this on over, under or before makeup and although I only tried using it as a "primer" I honestly hated this product. I cannot imagine trying to put this OVER my makeup, or even wearing by itself!
So, yes.....this is going back to Sephora. The Doubleglow7 is kind of pricey for the amount you get ($25 for something only bit bigger than a lip gloss pot), and I will never repurchase again.
