I love the smell, the ingredients, the packaging, the brand, and everything else about this Weleda body wash! Fabulous product, especially since it doesn't dry out my skin nearly as much as every other shower gel claiming to be "moisturizing" does! My HG body wash. I highly recommend and am sad that I had to buy something else after running out since it was out of stock at my local store. I almost can't wait 'til I run out of the current gel I'm using just so I can buy it again! In love... <333

This is a pretty good body wash but I can't say I'm in love. I live in a city with extremely hard water and was looking for a gentle body wash that wouldn't make my skin any drier than it already is. This smells nice, lathers well, and rinses clean but it doesn't make my skin any softer. Perhaps this would work better in a place with softer water?

With water as the first ingredient and alcohol as the 4th one, you can feel like you are washing yourself with water mixed with alcohol. Besides the oils, almost all Weleda products are really heavy on alcohol, maybe that's because they don't use things like parabens to help preserve their products, but alcohol really irritates my skin, no matter how "natural" the source may be.
This is a nono for private areas or hair, and a merely soso product for anything else, though I adore the scent of Weleda Wild Rose body oil, this smells fake to me. It's really not worth the money.

This couldn't really be improved. I bought it as an alternative to Dr Hauschka's rose body wash because it's a bit cheaper, it doesn't have the cloves undertone, rather it's a fresh and young wild rose with maybe a sweet musk and lavender tone to it, and it doesn't smell synthetic to me. The texture is nice and creamy, and it works.

This body wash is devine. I wasnt sure if I could get used to the cream as I'm used to foaming gels, but this is so luxurious, it feels like a treat using it. Pricey in Australia but worth it. Gorgeous fragrance. I love this product.

Roses! I love it! This is one of my absolute favourite Weleda products (closely followed by Birch scrub and oil). It's easy to apply, leaves my skin smooth and nicely scented. I buy this online as it is about AUD$20 a tube in-store.

Perfect product!
Wonderful consistensy, wonderful colour, wonderful smell, wonderfully moisturizing, I even use it for washing my face! Few facial cleansers (even organic ones) have left my skin so soft. Also once I washed my hair with it and it left them feeling soft and shiny! I will always, always have it in my bathroom as a multipurpose product!

Once you start washing, the whole bathroom soon has a nice, strong smell of roses! It foams well and lets the skin hydrated. The smell on skin doesn't last for long.Nice Weleda product.

Lovely body wash, especially if you like the scent of roses. It is indeed nice and creamy and doesn't dry my skin out. Smells lovely, although the scent doesn't linger on my skin. Leaves me feeling clean and refreshed. I find this product quite luxurious - more so than other, more expensive, lines I've tried. Recommended to everyone (if you don't like rose just get a different scent).

I've been desperate to find a shower gel that left me feeling clean, smelled nice, and didn't upset my stupidly sensitive skin. This seems to be it. The price thing is subjective; I would be willing to pay more for this because EVERYTHING else I've tried has dried me out or broken me out or caused a freakishly monsterous allergic reaction. If I had lovely normal skin that I could use anything on, I'd use something with a more pronounced fragrance. The flip top tube is nice in form (it wont break if you drop it and it isn't annoying to try and get at the last little bit like it can be with a pump container) though I wish Weleda could let go of their garish colour scheme- the tube is an alarming fuschia. The product is low foaming, although it does lather a bit and has a pleasant rosy fragrance which doesn't linger.

I love it. The scent is wonderful, and it lathers nicely. I wish it was a bit more moisturising, and also that it was a little cheaper. It feels a little stupid to splurge on something you just wash off. Sadly...Couse I really like it.

OK, I really wanted to love this too seeing I love rose but, the scent was very weak and cheap even though it's natural. It reminded me of Lush's tisty toasty bath bomb with the same light fresh scent. This defiantly was no old lady rose scent, it was fresh and clean. But for me I like heady hybrid tea scents the most. Also this product was ridiculous over priced and I thought Ombra's rose green tea bath smelled similar and was better priced. It's also German.

I just adore this body milky wash. It has such a delightful rosy smell and a clean white colour. But the best thing of all is that it really leaves the skin conditioned after the shower. Perfect for shaving legs in my opinion!

Bought two tubes of this and one each of the Lavender and Citrus body washes whilst on holidays in Berlin in May. You just can't get it in the shops in Australia, not that I've seen anyway, and it was CHEAP considering the quality of Weleda products generally. I sent three tubes home and kept the Wild Rose to use on the road. The scent is essentially the same as the other products in the Wild Rose range and the texture of the cream is rich and creamy. Packaging is great as usual. It didn't dry my skin out at all despite the hard water in some places in Europe. I wish I'd bought ten tubes of it!

Trying to use more natural products but obviously don't want to compromise on performance. This body wash has a delicate rose scent, a nourishing creamy texture, and is free from many of the chemical nasties located in some mainstream products. Works well as a shower creme - or even for shaving; haven't tried it as a shampoo yet, like the reviewer below, but I'm certainly curious to do so!

First of all I like the package. I also like the smell. I don't like all products wich smell like roses, but this is a nice Rose smell. I think this is a showergel wich really gives results.

I love it!And it's not just a beautiful body wash, but a great shampoo as well:-)Ok girls....well I have always been the one experimenting with most of the body care products.II was trying to use everything as a shampoo mainly:-)(I can't explain it,I just wanted to find a product that works wonders on all my body, and anyway... I knew there must be a link between all these skin care products.)Well,I've found it now!IThis Weleda Rose body wash left my scalp feel sooooo good!!!
I think it just doesn't make sense to me to use so many different products on my body, when I'm covered with skin everywhere...why would that skin be so different?
Maybe I'm wrong,I'm not an expert.
I'm using face cream on my lips, and It's perfect. (I'm using only natural products)
Face cream for my undereye area as well(I use Dr Hauschka Moisturizing Day cream and rose cream,so it's good for the sensitive areas)
If you have a good body lotion a hand cream is not necessary either.
So back to this body wash:I have just washed my hair with it.
What I wanted is to have a nice moisturizing "shampoo".I was just so fed up with my jason jojoba one(which should be moisturizing instead it's drying)
And it feels great. You know, that feeling when it feels so good massaging you scalp, because it's healthy and not dry at all.
My hair is still wet,I don't use a hair dryer in the evening, make no sense to me(sleek straight hair whatever I do with it,so the next morning never shocks me too much:-P)
I'll get back here and add notes after using it longer.
And I'll also comment on how it feels when it's dry(if it looks greasy or not...it can happen since this is a very rich body wash)
I hope this time I've found what I was searching for.It seems to be the best so far....:-P
Edit: I'm not disappointed:-)This morning my hair was very smooth, felt far better then with any natural shampoo before, and it's absolutely not greasy from this body wash.
I would recommend it to everybody with normal/dry hair!!!
I'll write an update after using it for a few weeks.

I absolutely love this body wash. It is my favorite alongside Pangea Organic's lavender one. It lathers well, is soothing, non-drying and smells wonderful. I have completely switched to eco-friendly body products for myself and my family and this is top-notch. And I love their calendula body wash/shampoo for my boys. I use that one for myself as well whenever I run out of this one!

I just looooove this body wash! It's my favourite one for everything.
It cleanses nicely with a fine creamy foam, very gentle and never drying. Raw materials are all natural and organic, the smell is great, feminine, rebalancing, confortable like a good cuddle, a pleasure for nose and skin! If you are on a rush and can't put body cream, your skin won't be tearing anyway. Also great for shaving.
Using it on your face (a drop) is ok even for sensitive skins.
Sinking in a hot tube with this wash is a great experience, especially in winter, also a little stoning. During summer is very nice with lukewarm or fresh water.
It's a bit on the expensive side compared to drugstore big bottles, but it's worthy!
