The only reason I put no repurchase on this is because I am not really a red lip person. I bought this on a whim, and while I like it, I doubt I would ever use it all to warrant buying more.
I am suprised about the bad reviews. This is highly pigmented and true to the color you see in the tube. A deep metallic red. I think its gorgeous especially if you like a red lip. Its dramatic IMO and most likely not a day time color due to the metallic shimmer. Its long lasting enough, not super amazing. I have used this to mix with other colors to deepen them. I find this as a cool red ( blue based ) not warm, I do not get any orangey tint from this at all. The formula is a little thick, but I think its more lipstick like than gloss like.

Despite the mostly negative reviews regarding this product, I decided to purchase it anyway because it was on clearance at my local drugstore. I have a medium complexion with yellow undertones and it's so hard to find a good red lip color, so I thought I'd try this one for Valentine's Day to be festive. It's a very deep, metallic red with a bronze cast. I lined and filled my lips with dark red pencil, applied a thin layer of Racy Ruby, and then a coat of clear gloss. Personally, I thought it looked pretty good...maybe a little too metallic, but then again, the line isn't called Creme de la CHROME for nothing. It just looked more costume-y than practical. When I asked my fiance for his opinion, he just stared at my lips for a few seconds and then told me he's not that into dark lipstick. I decided to return it.

I believe this product has been discontinued, but just in case someone comes across it I am writing a review. This is a creamy lipstick that was true to the color in the tube for me. However, it's way too metallic and dark on the lips, and when it got all over my teeth I couldn't get off. I hate to clean it off with a Wet Ones wipe. This is truly horrifying in every way, and I threw it away with joy.

Holy smokes, I've been staring at these at the drugstore for a few days, and finally bought Racy Ruby this afternoon to give one a try. In the tube next to my skin, it has a slightly golden cast that looks lovely next to my complexion, really warms it up, but is definitely red. I have a billion pinks, so I thought this would be super fun nighttime wear. However....on my lips I get the same horrifying orange as the first reviewer, and a very strong frost, but somehow black frost instead of white. The effect is unbelievably cool, but I could never, ever leave the house wearing this. It makes my medium/full lips look very small, and the black frosted effect is so heavy that even in the light, my lips look like they're in shadow. In fact, I'll have to put this on one more time (before I exchange it for Razzle Dazzle that everyone's been talking about) just to see the strangeness again. It is also worth noting that this gloss/liquid lipstick is powerfully scented - not terribly gross, just stronger and weirder than I like: my best description is that it's something like a dusty spicerack mixed with old candy. It took a little effort to wipe off, so seems like this would have great staying power. I wish you luck if you attempt to try this yourself.

I have this gloss in Gilt and Racy Ruby. And while I love (almost without exception) Revlon's LEs, this one is not one of my favorites. Don't get me wrong .. I think it's a very cool product, very metallic, gorgeous colors. But it is definitely not a gloss ... more of a creme lipstick. It's quite thick, and the colors (at least the darker ones like this Ruby) are quite substantial (you would never put this on over lipstick, as you would literally cover the color completely) and they can be staining, as well. You have to take special care (think mirror, tissue) while applying, and so much gets on my teeth for some reason, I have to blot off quite a bit. I was hoping for more of a throw-in-your-bag-and-reapply-easily-when-needed product, and this is not it. I love the color I get, especially when I mix the two shades I have, and dot on clear gloss after blotting. But this is too much work for me. I won't repurchase. Oh but I will add, I don't get orange at all ... this is quite true to the tube color for me.

I am naturally drawn to red lipcolors. This one looked so fabulous in the tube. However, once I put it on, it looked orange. Frosty orange. I am defnitely going to exchange this for the Razzle Dazzle shade, which I LOVE.
