I've written so many mascara reviews (as that is one cosmetic I use daily & cannot leave the house w/ out). Anyhow, point being, on the days I'm lazy with mascara & just want one coat I like to line my top eye-lids to fill in the spaces so to speak. I've got length but not a heck of a lot of volume so I like my lash line drawn in. I've brownish / dark beige skin so I spent a lot of time & money recently looking for a decent black liner. Most just weren't a rich pigment. I actually just started the line on the lid look again after neglecting it for years. So from Aug til Sept I bought a handful. Not one of them compared to how well Rimmel preforms on me. They didn't even have extra black left but even the reg black suits me fine. I like the matte finish. If I want a gloss finish I'll just reach for my Stilla liquid liner. It is an easy to use felt (not brush) tip too, which is perfect for me who's just starting this look up again after not since a teen. I've had it since the end of Sept, it's now mid Nov &, unlike my mascara (which I re-purchase every 6wks or less it seems), I do not feel I need to replace it yet. It does not have any scent nor does it feel dried or drying out as yet. I will certainly re-purchase as I love it the formula & the price.

I love this eyeliner! The applicator makes it easy to make a good, defined line. The color is a good black. It's my new favorite!

Really? I can't believe people like this product. The applicator is great but the eye liner itself is terrible. It is too liquid-y. It often gets in my eye from dripping and when it does dry it dries soooo blotchy and ugly. It's awful. I shouldn't have to reapply eye liner like I have to with this product.

I recently switched from Revlon ColorStay to this one and am pretty happy with it so far. For reference, I've been using liquid eyeliners for years and have pretty good control with them. This one I find very easy to control, and the brush contains just the right amount of product every time it comes out of the tube. The coverage is great as the colour is very black. The brush is very sharp so you can draw very thin lines with this one. Cat eyes can be done fairly easily as well. It washes off very easily as well.
The only negative thing about this product is that it always smudges! Maybe I have oilier eyelids than others because I wear moisturizer and don't use a setting powder, but this eyeliner smudges a lot on me. By the end of the day, the line is all over my eyelid. I'll try the setting powder and see if it improves.
Overall, it's great black eyeliner that's not too expensive. It costs 13 EUR (pricy) here, but I think it's way cheaper in North America and the UK.

Love this!! My go-to eyeliner, tried and tested so many others but I always go back to this, I prefer the waterproof version of this (for obvious reasons!) I really like the small tip as it gives you full control of how much eyeliner goes onto the lid, along with the size and shape of the preferred liner style. Don't think I'll ever bother trying anything new as I've always been let down by other ones. Cheap, cheerful and lasts ages! I always buy 2 when their on offer, worth it!

Pretty good liquid liner in the drugstore price range. The colour is a very dark pigmented black, which is much better than many liquid liners, which often come out light black or dark grey. Fairly easy to control with the nib applicator, maybe not quite as easy as a pen liner but the colour payoff is better as is the lasting power. Pretty cheap for about a fiver in the UK. You could do much worse than trying this one.

A fairly good eyeliner I'm not good with liquids but this was pretty easy to use with the little brush I can do a nice line. It's also nice and black in colour good payoff. Sets quite easily and lasted nicely thought the day with no smudges or movement and I'd say the colour intensity does lessen slightly as it sinks into your eyelid but it's not major. Only think that's stopping me from repurchasing as when it's drying it stings my eyelid I don't get any swelling but it just stings! I do have sensitive skin so I would not repurchase but if I can't find anything better i will use this! Also would be nice if it was a bigger bottle but it's cheap anyway!
Update: another thing I dislike if I touch my eyelid through the day it comes off or smudges!

Oh my gosh, favourite liner ever.
Will rarely smudge. On really hot humid days where you're sweating, it will smudge a LITTLE, like really little.
You can do cat eyes with this and the sharp points will stay sharp.
Inexpensive, super long lasting, no flaking, barely any smudging. What more can you ask for?

This used to be my HG eyeliner but I have recently strayed into using other things. It does have great staying power and, unlike a lot of liquid eyeliners, it is very dark black (which can sometimes fade to a dark grey at the end of the day). The applicator tip may seem strange to some... it is a chubby plastic-like nib unlike the thin brushes that come with a lot of liquid eyeliners. This may be helpful to those that are not used to applying liquid eyeliner as it is certainly much easier to use than the thin brushes. I have used this eyeliner since the tender age of 14, and I would have given it 5 stars as it was the only product that I constantly used (I am an eyeliner-aholic) BUT I recently went back to using it and it almost seems as though the formula has been subtly changed... After application I kept finding that when the eyeliner dried it was cracking and flaking off in chunks! This has happened with many other cheaper brands I've used (although this is only approx £5.49). Reluctantly I have moved onto using other eyeliners in its place. For the price and my attachment to it I wouldn't let this review put you off. It is a really good quality eyeliner:)
