Hands down the BEST moisturizer in the market :O I'm sooo impressed!! I used to use Sisley and Chanel, but they were too expensive and they started to break me out :( So I decided to gyve Clarins a chance. This cream actually works!! I noticed a diference within the first day!! Literally the ONLY moisturizer that doesn't break me out and I can use as much as I can. It's been 4 weeks and I couldn't been happier :D Thank you MUA!!

I am really happy with this cream from Clarins. I first tried the cream formula and I am now using the gel and personally I think you get more out of the gel. But either way this product has really helped to get the 'glow' back into my dehydrated skin. It is not a heavy cream and I use it in the morning and evening.
I like the smell - its fresh and clean and the packaging is really nice!

Light, fresh with a really nice subtle scent. I love putting this on my skin. It seems to go quite far so I'm happy to pay the price.

I first used this about three years ago, used it daily until I started to try other moisturizers.
Now that I have other moisturizers, I forget how good this is.
When I used this once in a while, I just realize how amazing this cream is and fall in love again.
I wear this over my toner and a light-weight lotion.
This moisturizes my skin veryyy well, and makes my makeup go on very nicely. I use the one with SPF 15 so it's nice to know my skin is protected.
This smells lovely and the packaging is so pretty!
The only thing I dont like is how you have to dip your finger in it.

I used to love this product and I purchased it for years every winter. It was very soothing and hydrating. However, for some reason (3 years after I started using it) this product is not doing for me any more. It seems to sit in the skin and it doesn't get absorbed. Last fall I was informed that Clarins had reformulated the whole HydraQhrench line. So, now that I purchased the mosturizer and serum they just don't work for me... the serum is watery and the cream is thick but it doesn't absorb....
So disappointing! I used to be a Clarins girl and now I cannot use many of their products!

I had acne-prone skin, now I don't get acne much. Every once in a while, I get a little pimple on my chin area and that's it. But I had a bit of acne scarring from past. So I knew that I needed some scrubbing from time to time, and a decent moisturizer for every day. This one does the job. Now I'm close to finishing my first jar and my skin healed tremendously. I recommend it to everyone who has normal to oily skin. Also the price is reasonable. I used to have Dermalogica's Active Moist, which is a hyped product but was also expensive as hell. I went abroad and was going to do some duty free shopping- I couldn't believe Clarins' price. I really liked Active Moist, but I can confidently say that Clarins' Hydra Quench Cream does the same job for a better price.

This is the best moisturizer I've used so far. Good for both day & night, my pores and skin never look much better after 2 weeks of usage. No breakouts so far. I have combo skin, very oily on the t-zone, and this product has aid in evening them out. The jar packaging is a turn off though as it less hygienic than the tube kinds, but on the positive side I can get every bit of it when I'm about to finish. Smell is a little strong but doesn't bother me. I'm using this along with Clarins Tamarind cleanser. Works wonders!

This product was a lifesaver for my dry/dehydrated skin. In actual fact, I'd been walking around the Estee Lauder counter when I asked one of the sales assistants for help. She said that she actually worked on the Clarins counter and could help me out with her products if I liked. I agreed and within a minute, she'd whisked me off and diagnosed my skin as 'dehydrated' where I'd always just thought it was dry.
The product was great. It moisturises and hydrates really well. It absorbs into my skin easily and I can wear my makeup straight on top of it without looking or feeling greasy. I often react to a lot of moisturisers but I've found that it's quite calming on my sensitive skin and in addition, it doesn't seem to cause any pimples or clog my pores.
While a lot of other reviewers didn't seem to like the packaging for hygiene reasons, I didn't mind it since it allowed me to use all of the product without wastage. And I only ever applied it after I'd thoroughly washed my hands so how unhygienic could it be.
The smell is a tad strong but pleasant enough for me - although my boyfriend can't stand it.
I'm nearly out of my first jar and shall definitely be repurchasing again soon.

I was given a generous sample of both the Hydra Quench cream and serum and was blown away by them. I have dry skin on my cheeks made worse by the harsh airconditioning. The combination of these two products totally changed them and my skin doesn't look parched anymore. They are amazing and I would recommend to anyone with dry skin.
The cream is totally unlike your conventional cream. It's texture is more like a thick gel and does not feel greasy. It has a light fresh scent, unoffensive, I can't imagine anyone not liking it. Absorbs into my skin quickly and I have no problem applying BB cream on top of this.
I would definitely purchase a full size of these when my existing stash runs out. I love love love these products and have had a hard time finding one that worked like these do.

I really really like this cream. Living in Canada, I would recommend this is a must have for our winters. You do not need to use it everyday but it does help to use through the week to keep up the moisture of your skin. At first I thought it would be way too much having combo skin but it is not too much, if anything it has taught me the value of hydrating our skin properly to encourage beautiful skin. If we are dehydrated then problems start. I love the look of my skin after using this product (even though I'm still using my multi-active comfort cream on other days to help prevent wrinkles).
I wish it would come in a tube like the sample I have but oh well, I still bought a jar for this winter :)

I use the one with SPF 15 but guess they are the same.
I really really love this during the winter, for summer it maybe a bit to hydrating and thick, but in the winter it is jussst perfect.
Its my second jar.

As I grow older, my trustworthy Avene moisturizer just isnīt enough anymore although I add hydration booster and do regular hydrating masks. Iīm getting tired of that and besides it costs me a lot of money for hydration booster and masks. So I needed a new moisturizer. I hate to try new moisturizers, because my skin doesnīt like trying and testing new products. Therefore, I couldnīt test tons of moisturizers.
But I searched the top picks to find a new moisturizer and it came down to this one or the Origins make a difference.
Anyway, I hate this cream.
I almost forgot, that some creams have a weird little effect on my skin: When I use them, I get tiny beads of moisture on my nose, as if my skin was sweating.
I searched for the reason and found, that cetyl alcohol as ingredient can cause this reaction. Why some people react to it and others not, I donīt know.
The cream felt silicony and like a film on my skin. Didnīt sink in, but my skin never reacted good towards silicones.
The smell was o.k., not overpowering.
Might have been moisturizing, but the side effects were too weird to tolerate this cream.
A big no for me.

I am feeling a lot of love for Clarins products at the moment, after trying out a number of different products over the last few months. I currently have 10 different face moisturiser testers on the go, from clarins, lancome, chanel, estee lauder, dermalogica and payot, trying to work out what I like best for my skin.
I have found myself constantly wanting to go back to this, even when trying out something new, as it simply feels the nicest out of all of them, even above my second favourite, Chanel Hydra Beauty Creme, which I so want to love more than this, but this cream just does the job and does it well.
It soaks in to my skin beautifully, doesn't leave any sticky residue and my skin feels amazing afterwards.
The only negative is that I am not really a big fan of the packaging (jar), so I am glad for the Clarins promotions that allow me to buy great value packs (or GWP's) that contain the smaller and much easier to use tubes (although I am sure I will quickly get overloaded with cleansers that seem to always come with the packs ha ha).
So far this is a love product and I think will be the winner out of my face moisturiser trial challenge.

I love this stuff! My skin is on the oily side and even though this moisturizer is for normal- dry skin it works wonders for me. I do , however only use it as a night cream . It absorbs right in with no greasy feel and it smells great. I think I'm on my 4 th jar of it. I highly recommend this product.

I used to use Clinique Moisture Surge Intense but it wasn't moisturizing enough. I decided to try this cream, and purchased the version for very dry and cold climate skin. The price is a little bit more expensive than Clinique but the quality is a lot better. I paid about $50 for this cream and this is definitely helping with my very dry skin. I love the texture of it, although it is thick, it is not sticky and it absorbs pretty quickly. I also like the smell, it is light and very pleasing. I also use Rose hip oil before applying this cream to ensure that my skin gets all the moisture is deserves. Overall a really good cream and would definitely purchase again.

This is a great moisturizer, smell is nice and natural, but not overpowering at all. I love the natural ingredients and it moisturizes really well. I got it as a sample, but will consider purchasing once I run out. Clarins makes excellent skincare products, they are quickly becoming my favorites.

This cream saved my skin this winter! My usual day lotion (Clarins Multi-Active lotion SPF 15) wasn't cutting it in the cold and wind. I did my research and picked up this moisturizer. The texture is rich but upon application it doesn't leave my face shiny, just perfectly hydrated. My skin feels like it's been given a glass of water. I apply during the day under my sunscreen and it leaves my skin smooth and comfortable all day. Also, it smells great!

I have this Clarins cream in the Very Dry Skin/ Cold Climate version. I have mild eczema all over my body and face and living in the dry and cold winters of Canada certainly doesn't help moisturize. my forehead was literally flaking all over up to my hairline and this is the only moisturizer that has defeated my dry face. I never get flakes anymore and my makeup evidently glides on better because I no longer have thirsty and uneven skin. I've been using it everyday since I bought it and I'm not even half way through the container yet! and I need so little each time to moisturize my whole face. another great thing a out this product is that it doesnt leave my skin feeling oily, sticky or shiny. I've tried moisturizers that made me oily but didn't moisturize. so this is a great product and I will be buying it over and over unless some other amazing product comes up. and btw I paid $50CAD+tax for this, which isn't bad a cause it IS a higher-end brand.
