Overall, I find this product wonderful. It feels great on my lips, gives a beautiful pop of colour, and has a lovely scent. I figured instead of writing a book on the topic, I would just break it down into pros and cons. I hope this helps!
Pros:
- Has a light smell of rose and honey
- Instantly moisturizes the lips and is very easy to spread
- The pigmentation is buildable so you can go sheer or more intense
- Looks great on all skin tones
Cons:
- Packaging isn't practical and the process is messy. I carry tissues with me when using this product
- Doesn't seem to retain moisture of the lips once the product has worn off
- Can bleed around the edges of the mouth

IN LOVE with this product! This product does everything you want it to. It moisturizes, it perfectly stains your lips, matches casual and fancy dress, has a beautiful sheen to it, applies easily, can travel easy with you and suits all skin tones.

Very moisturising, no flaking, one dot gives me a lovely lip tint. I've repurchased one as a backup, and I've given it as a present to both my sister and my mother. They both loved it, despite thinking that it would be too deep red. Very reasonably priced for the amount you get, and it lasts a long time.

Yep, this stuff is nice. I wasn't a fan of the Wild Rose color/flavor at first, but it's a nice way to get a softer "red lip" look in your day without looking over-made up. It's more wine-y than apple-ey, which is a great, natural take on the red lip. All of the Korres lip butters in "pots" keep my lips chap-free.
Whoever said the look is "glassy" not "glossy" is a genius. It's not sticky like a lot of gloss-products tend to be. Instead it's creamy or buttery or gel-like, or some magical texture that has yet to have a word assigned to it.
Yeah, you have to stick your finger or a brush in there; get over it. The other Korres products for lips suck compared to the classic butters in pots; this is the best way to use them. Yeah, it wears off in like, 2 hours, or even 1. These are travel-sized, and you've always got fingers. Totally worth it. Buy 'em in packs, they're cheaper.

My HG lip product. I was getting tired and bored of lip stains and matte lip sticks, but I am just not a gloss girl. I was looking for something, but I wasn't sure what. Behold Korres lip butter. A dab of this will give you a slightly deep red with a balmy look and feel. But it is buildable; add a gob of this and you will get a dramatic, deep berry red, glassy (but not glossy) look. Gorgeous and demands attention. Or subtle and feminine. It also works nicely over other lip products. Doesn't last long but it is easy to apply and convenient to carry in even the smallest clutch.

As I have noted in other reviews, the Korres lip butters are my HG lip balms. I have very dry lips, so believe me--I am a connoisseur of lip balms. This one bumps up my natural lip shade just a bit and gives a lovely, bitten sort of color. The reason that I can't live without this is that it helps out just about every red lipstick I own. To wear my favorite red lipstick, Gabrielle by Chanel, I put a layer of this on, then a layer of Gabrielle, and then another layer of this. My lipstick stays put for hours and my lips feel quenched. This stuff is great!

I LOVE this!!! I thought it would lack pigmentation, but it is a lot more pigmented than I thought, & the colour is lovely. I also love the consistency of this lip butter, as it isn't thick & I don't feel like I have this huge layer on my lips. I can't stand that...
I also love the packaging. I think it looks so cute & I for one love that it's in a pot. It's just so convenient & this is the kind of thing you can just apply to your lips without a mirror & there's no way you can mess it up (unlike with lipstick). Imo, there's no point in having something in a tube when I'm just going to go in with my finger to smooth it out anyway.
I also like that this has a very subtle rose scent, as I truly cannot stand rose scents. This one is kind of earthy, & I enjoy it.
One thing I do not like however, is the fact that the lid is often so hard to open! It sometimes takes minutes just to open it... However, that may just be the one I have.
In relation to moisture, I have no idea how well this works because I don't get dry lips. I personally just use this for colour. All in all, I will DEFINITELY buy this again, especially since it's so cheap at only $12!! Love <33
I really hope to get this in plum & jasmine also..
EDIT: Just put it on right now because my lips are hurting & it feels amazing... Plus, it's so pigmented, yet so natural-looking. Korres lip butters make my life!!! This is what a real lip butter is. Revlon is CRAP.

I bought this a looong time ago. It just rested on my purse, going with me everywhere, and I didn't use it because I thought it was too dark. How stupid was I. When I found myself with no other lipbalm around, I used this, and I've never gone back, It's just amazing. It really feels like butter, I can feel it being absorbed, and doesn't just "sit" on my lips. It gives a nice coulor for a couple of hours. Short staying power, but it's only a lip balm, and a good one. I'm thinking about buying it in every single colour available.

I bought this to bump my cart over 50 for free shipping and am very glad I did. It's such a neat jelly consistency that i love to put on my lips. And the best part it moisturizes! For my complexion for some reason this color suits me more than Benatint which I have love for I just like this a little more. One is it's cheaper it smells really good and it gives my lips such a nice flush of colour that looks sexy.
It's nice to have pale skin with rosy lips you can't go wrong with that if like me you are pale. All I needed was this and my BB pact and it looked beautiful in a photograph. I'm very happy with it. My lips feel fuller I have no idea if they are but hey it's the feeling that counts. I like that this doesn't dry me out like some products do. The pot I'm not a fan but the consistency of the product is what makes it such a good butter to put it in a tube changes this and you can buy it in a tube but the tub is for me.
I like the smell of roses and this was the colour i was looking for and for 12$ I am very happy with this. It lasts a long time and it has nice colour payoff that you can build or put on top of another colour. I def want to try more of these as I do really luv my lip butter it makes me want to check out there skin care products as well. It actually lasts pretty long too. I haven't had trouble with bleeding but I don't apply it too heavy. This is good stuff that one should def give a try.

This stuff is amazing! I bought this online and the colour looked really daunting as it was a really deep deep marroon but realistically its just a nice sheer cherry red. Its also moisturizing, the packaging is cute, has a nice consistency and smells like roses. All in all a great product

I normally don't like tinted balms, but this one is a really nice color, not to mention the color is pretty long-lasting. It's nearly the same shade as the Stila Cherry Crush lip stain I use frequently, except shinier and much more moisturizing. The weather has been dry and chilly lately, and my other balms had gone mysteriously missing, so I went to Sephora and picked one of these up. I did try the guava several years ago, which I loved for flavor and balm but hated for color. This one seems even better in terms of being a balm though! It's smooth and buttery, true to its name, and not sticky at all. I can definitely still feel it on my lips, which isn't something I enjoy, but I can deal with it.
Only two small complaints: dislike the packaging, I don't want to dip my fingers into a deep red jelly to reapply, so I had to pick up a lip brush for it. I also dislike the flavor, not a fan of rose. I like my lip stuff to taste edible.

The packaging is ok and I was drawn to the idea of this product. However, the tint is far too pale to justify using. I have olive skin, sort of mid way between pale and dark. I wanted a nice tint, a sheer flush of color, that I could apply whenever or wherever to brighten up my face. Especially in the day time. But, it wasn't to be. If this color did almost nothing for me, it will certainly not work for people who are darker than me.

I like this a lot as I'm a big fan of lip balms that hydrate and provide a nice hint of colour. The pigmentation on this is actually quite good. Obviously it's not going to be as pigmented as a lipstick, but it's easy enough to apply without a mirror. In the moisture department, my lips do feel hydrated while I wear it, but once the balm wears off they do dry up again. Though I do have chronically dry lips. I'd def buy this again, possibly in other colours too.

This was okay, I didn't really feel it gave enough colour and it has a bit of a vaseline texture about it, so it would kind of bleed around the edges of my mouth. It was quite moisturising though, but it would still annoy me a bit when I wear it because of the bleeding around the lips messiness of it. If I had a choice over this and Benefit's Benetint lip pot it would be Benetinit for the colour and the stayability.

I love this stuff. I love it, I love it, I love it. This is my HG lip color - better than any gloss, balm, or lipstick. I've been using this almost exclusively for over a year now. I love that the color is nice and bright but not too bright. I love that as it wears off, it leaves a little bit of rosy stain but it doesn't look like your lipstick has worn off. I love that this is something I can wear with shorts and a t-shirt and also wear with a ballgown. I love that you can apply it without a mirror and it looks good. I love that it makes my lips look a little plumper but not overly drawn on. I love that, unlike a lot of "tinted lip balms" this one is actually moisturizing to my super dry lips, but it doesn't feel waxy or heavy.
Have I mentioned I love this stuff?

I wasn't going to give in to the hype only b/c I have so many lip products already. But I bought this on a whim @ Sephora and I am loving it so much. The consistency is fantastic, not pasty at all, great wear. And I love love love the color, a beautiful berry easily adjusted by more or less application (NC20). I chose this over the tube as so many of my lip products are in a tube and the pot was reminiscent of the pot glosses I loved in my 20's :) Will mostly definitely repurchase.

This is a beautiful deep berry rose glossy lip color. The color may look scary in the jar but it's very sheer and you can really control the intensity by how little/much you apply. It stays on my lips a reasonable amount of time for a lip butter -- longer than the Revlon Lip Butters did on me. My only complaint with this product is lack of convenience/portability. I use a lip brush to apply this because I don't like my fingers to get product on them and I would need a mirror to apply, so it's just not a product I can apply on the go. I might, however, purchase the lip glaze, which looks to be the same product in a tube.

This is a nice balm that moisturizes your lips and leaves a glossy hint of dark berry red colour. I'm not really fond of the smell though, it smells like rose scented turkish delights, but I'm sure people who love candy smell make up will love it. The texture of the balm is almost gel like and it leaves my lips soft and hydrated.
I'm not really a fan of the packaging though. The jar is large and chunky and it will easily get messed up with the tint from the balm. I'm also not a fan of jar-balms in general, next time I'll pick up the tube version.
You get 6 grams of product in the jar (£6 on HQhair), and the balm is free from parabens.
