Unlike the other reviewers, I really like this pressed powder. I use only mostly natural products. I have been using Pur Minerals pressed powder in Porcelain, which was a perfect match for my skin tone, and made my face look great. But with a $30 price tag, and how it only lasted me about 4-5 weeks, I had to find something a bit cheaper. I bought Physician's Formula Organic Wear in Translucent Fair, hoping for the best. When I got it and tried it out, I was pleasantly surprised. It went on smoothly and matched my skin tone perfectly. I'm so happy that I've found a cheaper, but still natural pressed powder.

So, my mother bought this for herself and unfortunately it didn't match her skin tone. It comes out much more fair than it looks in the package. So I took it and decided to use it since I had just run out of my Studio Fix powder. I put my usual concealer around my eye area, then set it with this using a large fluffy powder brush. I continued to buff it in all over my face using the big fluffy brush and it looked good! It doesn't give full coverage, but I would say its light and build able.
I love that this product is organic since I do have sensitive skin.
This WOULD be a really great powder, for someone else. For one, I have oily skin and this powder really doesn't do much for that. It also isn't the matte finish I much prefer. Lastly, the brush it comes with is horrible. It's super scratchy and just icky.
However, if you're looking for a powder that's light coverage and natural/dewy finish, this ones for you. I would also recommend more for normal skin.

I had high hopes from this product, it being organic and all.
Maybe i had a bad product,as the powder has a horrible skunk-like stink to it.
Applied on the face, even with a moisturizer base, it does not go on evenly. End result is splotches of powder. This product is not cheap either.
Update - this product is working quite well for me now. Maybe my skin has adjusted to the ingredients. I have also figured out the correct way to apply the powder so that it goes on evenly.
Apart from the skunky smell, it is quite good.

This was actually a pretty decent powder. The colour I got, Warm Beige Organics, matched me perfectly (NW35). The oil control was pretty good, my face would still look fairly matte at the end of a five hour shift at work (only blotting once). The coverage is fairly minimal, but I don't mind that since my skin has cleared up a lot and I don't need much coverage anymore. The only reason I wouldn't repurchase is that although its a pretty good powder, it's not a stand out product for the price you pay. The only reason I tried it in the first place was because I found it at Winners for half the usual price, I would never pay the full price for this since there are so many other powders out there that can give the same results but cost a lot less.

This is my least favorite face powder of types I have tried in the past year or so. It changed colors dramatically over the day into this weird orangey cast on my face, has kind of an odd smell, and chalky poor texture. My oily skin will usually get through a foundation or powder in just a couple hours, but I was almost immediately shiny with this. It's also one of the few powders where I can sort of feel it "sitting" on my skin. I think Physicians Formula is a good company compared to many other drugstore brands, but they just have a bad formulation with this particular product.

I love Physician's Formula so I was extremely disappointed in this powder. It did NOTHING for me. It just sat on the oily areas of my face and made them oilier looking. It's extremely, terribly cakey, AND it is far too expensive for the quality. Ugh, I'd give this 0 lippies if I could.
The only thing I LOVE about this is the packaging. It's magnetic and very cute and stylish. The plastic cover is kinda meh, but the overall container is just adorable. :)
But again, I highly disapprove of the product. PF is known for their gorgeous powders, so I'm thinking I just got a bad batch...:(

I got this in a set with the Organic Wear Blush and was sorely disappointed. This powder did nothing for me. It sat on my face and when I went out it got all over my scarf and jacket! I got this in Creamy Beige and just like the blush, it didn't even show up, but had the added bonus of being messy and useless. I gave it another chance because I really wanted to like the product but got the same results so now I don't bother with it.

This in theory is a great product because it is natural and organic. On the packaging it says it has "Eco-Olive", 100% free of parabens, harsh chemicals, and synthetic preservatives. I picked up translucent light. The pressed powder has two colours which is great for getting the right colour for you. This was pricey when not on sale, it's around $20 CAD in SDM or Rexall. It didn't irritate or dry out my sensitive skin which I liked. However, I felt with this power could not "set" my foundation. I applied this with a brush and even a powder puff and still would not lock in my foundation. I would get a shine within an hour of application, and I have dry skin that rarely gets shiny! Also it feels chalky even when you don't apply a lot. I went over board to set my foundation and still my foundation transferred on my fingers and did not set. So disappointed. I really wanted to like this. Lastly, the packaging feels really cheap. The see-through cover is like thin plastic sheet and the rest is kind of like cardboard. It does come with a brush but is scratchy. It would leave streaks on your face if you used it. Overall I will not repurchase. I hate it so much.

No coverage, didn't even work as a translucent powder. All it did was leave my skin feeling cakey and heavy. And the SMELL! It smelled awful, like cardboard artifical roses, or the terrible dollar store fragrances that would make you gag as a child. It went promptly in the trash

Like that it's all natural and that's pretty much just it.
It has no coverage, it's too powdery, it's chalky, and product gets everywhere.

This held up the oil pretty good, not the best oil control, but it did make my look flawless and even toned. I did not like the way brush felt against my skin, it actually kinda hurt to use it. One of the other complaint I have about it is that it's bit chalky looking, even if you only use a small amount. It also took a few uses to get the coverage I wanted, but other than that it was pretty tolerable. If you have mildly oily skin/combination skin and are wanting to try something from this line, this is the only good product because even the oil control is not the best of the best, it will make your skin look flawless. Well, it did for me at least. Still, I would not buy this again, only because I need something with better oil control than what I was given.

I love this product.
It sucks up the oil.
I've actually run out of mine and have been searching for this one from Physicians Formula for awhile (I can't find it!).
For me it's not cakey, I don't use tons of it over my liquid foundation (I use Nars Sheer Glow).
I also use Makeup Forever HD powder over this to soften everything up.
I would totally buy this again.

I bought this in Translucent Medium to go along with Organic tinted moisturizer (which I LOVE). I have mixed feelings about this powder, it's very luminous in it's finish, which is kind of pretty and makes this powder unique, but it gets cakey SO easily and has no oil control whatsoever. Also, this goes on about 3 shades whiter than it appears in the pan. It's nice for a very a highlighting effect I suppose so I am giving it 3 lippies for that reason alone. UPDATE: Ok, so these run WAY lighter than they appear in the pan, my skin is barely medium, and I am using the darkest shade "Sand Beige", and it looks fantastic now. No weird ghostly sheen/shiny look, no cakiness...very smooth and natural. Would repurchase, but only in this shade.

I bought this product because it was on sale and i had a coupon so it was basically free. that being said, it was really bad powder. it felt cheap, the packaging it terrible, it was chalky, and i was just not impressed. i threw it away. maybelline's dream matte powder is a much better ds option, although personally MUFE's duo mat is my favorite. Expensive, but worth it. You don't even need foundation under it.

I got this a few years back mainly because of the packaging and design concept--that it was organic and natural makeup. I like that the shade matches my skin perfectly and blends really well after foundation, the color stays true and doesn't turn orange, and that it claims to be free of synthetic chemicals. However, the flimsy packaging and loosely packed powder makes it easy to break if you drop it on the ground. There's some odd smell in the ingredients that can be stinky sometimes. But I've had this product for more than 2 years and the odd smell faded for the most part and I've only used half of it.

I received this in a swap, hoping that on my mostly makeup free days my combo skin beseiged by rosacea could have the oil in it tamed. I was not disappointed. I can put my Eucerin and this on and I'm good to go. For me personally, it controlled shine for about 6-8 hours. I did notice a smell, kind of earthy lavender musky... but it went away after about 10 minutes (I couldn't smell it anymore). I would definitely repurchase this when the time comes :-)

I was really surprised by how much I liked this. I picked it up on clearance at my local drugstore just for fun and was pretty sure it was going to suck. When you open it, the smell hits you immediately and I thought oh yeah, this is going to suck. I put it on my face with a regular powder brush and didn't feel any of it. But when I looked in the mirror my skin tone had evened out and my complexion looked more fresh. I think I picked it up in beige buff, one of the medium tones, which is what I normally use. Worked out great! I kind of like the packaging because it's different and makes it fun to use. I don't carry it in my bag often so I don't have a problem with it getting beat up.

I have this product in translucent light.
This product is completely average.
Pros: Natural ingredients, eco-friendly packaging. I have been on an organic kick lately and have been wanting to try this for quite awhile. However, as much as I love the ingredients, the CONS certainly outweigh the pros: as soon as I put this on my face, my skin felt TIGHT. Also, it provided absolutely no coverage at all (which may be due to it being 'translucent light', but I've used other 'translucent' powders that offered minimal coverage). Sure, it made my skin less shiny but my skin is incredibly dry and I actually prefer it to look a little dewy.
Many complained about the smell; I did not notice an odour at all, actually.
All in all, I will be returning this tomorrow.

I don't see why so many people didn't like this, I thought it was great. Although, I don't wear foundation or anything heavy on my skin since I was just looking for something to reduce shine from my face, my tone and color are pretty even without makeup just very SHINY. This stuff stayed on all day and I love the natural ingredients it has, it has definitely improved my skin since I started using it. The only thing I don't like is the smell, but I can look (or sniff) past that for a good product that's eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and great for your skin :)

I bought this in Translucent Fair along with the Organic Wear tinted moisturizer and I used it twice, but I will be returning it.
The first day I used it over the tinted moisturizer as a setting powder. Well, the tinted moisturizer made me look orange, so I decided right away that I wouldn't be keeping that.
The second day I used the pressed powder alone as a foundation. It actually gave pretty good coverage, without looking cakey. I thought I was going to like it, even though it has an unpleasant smell. Then my face went all red and blotchy, I had some sort of reaction. My face felt slightly itchy too. The red blotchiness faded after about an hour, but I'm afraid to keep using it. It obviously doesn't agree with my skin, so I will be taking it back.
A few other comments for anyone interested in this product: This actually has really good staying power and stayed matte all day without touchups. It did set to a slightly orange tone on my very fair skin too, although not as nearly as bad as the tinted moisturizer. The packaging is environmentally-friendly, and I applaud Physician's Formula for that, but I don't think it would hold up well over time, the lid is just held on with paper and could break off after being opened and closed repeatedly.
