Age: 44-55   Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Cool   Hair: Black, Straight, Medium   Eyes: Brown

Pros:
Accessible
Easy to use
Works

Cons:
Could be too rough if used more than three times a week
Expensive for non-department brand (unless on sale)

Used two tubes and got addicted. Worked so well that my hands were also so smooth. Over time, I realized mechanical exfoliation may not be as kind to the skin as chemical ones. Am trying chemical ones like Dr. Dennis Gross.

This product worked really well for me. As with any face care, all you can do is try it. We all have different skin. Some other Avon skin care products don't work for me, but this one is great! It's an 8 week process. I was in week 6 when I attended a wedding and SEVERAL ppl. complimented my skin. I'll def. do it again!

So I've been using this for about 2 months now. My skin used to be blotchy, very dull looking, and just not looking great. At the time I saw this on sale for 2 for $28 USD. So I thought why not give of a try. I used it as per instructions. I like the packaging with the number dial. I had never used microdermabrasion before so I thought it felt a bit harsh, but I continued. Within no time my skin had a beautiful youthful look to it. Dullness gone and my skin tone looked alot more even. My hubby has complimented me timw and time again @ how great my skin looks. It can be a bit pricey but this for me is definitely a winner. I will continue to buy especially when its on sale.

It made such a difference in my skin clarity, tone, reduced pores and helped with fine lines. I found level 4 to be a bit harsh and irritating so I dropped it back to 3. Other than that I had no irritation or breakouts just nice looking skin.

Usually I don't like rating a product early into using it, but this product made such a dramatic change on me very early on, that I decided to go ahead and rate. I am still on level 1 and the fine lines that were on my forehead have diminished and just about disappeared. I couldn't believe it when I first noticed. My skin on a whole looks better, brighter, more refined. The only problem, I had was when I tried to use it 2 days in a row. I got a little irritation, but not much. I highly recommend (especially if you can get it from e-bay).

My skin didn't react well to this, but I think it's the glycerin. After the 2nd use, I got quite a few small pimples. After the treatments, I rinsed well, but maybe I should have washed with a mild cleanser to make sure everything was off. I will try it again after I clear up since I did like the glow I had after the first two uses. I'll update if my reaction changes. Ingredients:

I really like the ANEW Clinical line. The treatments work much better than the ANEW daily skincare for me.

This stuff works much better and lasts longer than Dr. Brandt's Dermabrasion in a Jar, and I love the neat tube which keeps fingers and air out of the unused portion. The dial thing was kinda hard to figure at first, and seemed a little gimmicky, but it works, and I've been on the same tube for nearly 3 months, just reaching Stage 4. I will definitely buy another tube when all of this is empty.

Buy it cheap off eBay or when it's on sale - there's no need to pay full price, and the full container lasts a good while even if you use it every other night. Paired with the ANEW Advanced Retexturizing Peel, I don't need to see the dermatologist anymore for monthly peels to deal with the clogged pores in my t-zone area.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! My pores are maddening and get clogged easily--not due to product but due to candida and internal things. My skin also breaks out in response to reactions from foods. I used to spend a lot of time in the steam room and would even boil water and steam my face for a half an hour + at home, which I really don't have the time for, nor do I like to spend that kind of time focused on myself. This product has saved my skin. I use it in the shower and gently massage in circular motions all over my face, ridding my pores of whatever gunk they contain. I do it for a while, rinsing my fingers off several times throughout the process, and my skin becomes polished and much more even in tone. It helps other products look better, since products only look as good as the skin underneath does--I have never found a product that has saved my skin like this one has. I've tried Mary Kay's dermabrasion, which I must admit is also amazing, but too pricy for me. I do have to say that using a good moisturizer is essential if you are going to use this product. Avon leaves my skin drier than mary kay's dermabrasion, but not overwhelmingly so, and my moisturizer takes care of it. You will not regret using this product, your skin will glow and become so healthy-looking from day one! It really re-surfaces the skin like you wouldn't believe, especially with continued use.

This was my first foray into Home Dermabrasion. I absolutely seen a difference with this product. I saw some fine lines disappear, but most of all it made a HUGE difference in my pore size.
Right from the start I could feel it "working". I like that. And with each step that feeling continued. Although it may not be good for those with really sensitive skin.
For the price, the results I received, I think it is well worth it.
The packaging makes it very easy to use and can't think of anything the could have done better there.

I used it in it's entirety, and I would defiantly buy it again.

I am going to review this in stages, and edit as I go.

Stage 1: Weeks 1 & 2 So far I really like this. I love the quality of the scrub. I am a long time Lancome exfoliance user. This part definitely matches the quality of Lancome exfoliance. The grains feel man made so they are smooth and do not feel like they are tearing at your skin the way an apricot scrub does. The grains are suspended in a rinseable cream so there is no residue left on your skin when you are done, which is important to me. Also, I like the grain to cream ration of this. The grains are tightly packed into the cream so it feels very active. When I put my moisturizer on, I felt the tracest bit of sting which tells me this is an active scrub. The sting lasted for about 2 seconds. I move to phase 2 next time I use the scrub so I ahve used it about 5 times.

I am on Level 2 and I see a big difference already. The tube is actually two scrubs in one - a gray side and a white side.

Level 1: You use the gentle white scrub which is a pretty gentle cream scrub with mini grains.

Level 2: You click and add a little of the gray side to the white, This combination will make a thicker grained scrub. Amazing! My skin feel softer already and I have used AHA, lactic acid, and all types of scrub with salycilic acid, etc. This level is the best one yet.

I cheated and checked out the other two levels which are even thicker grained. SO I can't wait to get to them. This scub did not clog my pores, make my sensitive skin irritated, or have any bad side effects on my fair skin. Go for it! :) Highly recommended and you can't beat the price.

This might be nice for those just starting home microdermabrasion. I am used to using the Avon Anew Clinical Microexfoliant which I love so using this at the different levels really did not impress me much. There are four levels on the tube. You start at level 1 for two weeks and go up a notch every 2 weeks. After 8 weeks you are supposed to take a break and then start up again. This uses alumina and polyethlyene beads to scrub the skin. This contains parabens and aluminum crystals. I am just going to switch to derma e's microdermabrasion which uses magnesium crystals instead of aluminum and is paraben free (like I have been meaning to do anyways).

UPDATE: Sooo. . . I really liked this the first 4 weeks, but starting on Level 3 was pointless. Something about the gray side (which you use more of in Level 3, and only gray in Level 4) feels cheap to me. Cheaper than St. Ives Apricot Scrub, which I actually like. And I didn't see any difference in my skin after Level 2. My skin feels soft, but I don't see that great, obvious improvement like I did with the first two levels. VERY disappointing. I guess I will finish this tube just to see what the end result is like, but will not buy it again. I'm sad! END

This product is designed more for getting rid of lines and age spots, but I use it on my acne-scarred face and have been getting great results. My sister got micro-dermabrasion treatments from her dermatologist a few years ago and it cost her lots of money. This is acutally pretty cheap for the type of product at $28. to use this, you "dial up" the intensity. For the first two weeks, you use Level 1 2-3 times a week; for weeks 3-4 you use Level 2, and so on. After 8 weeks you take a break for two weeks, then start back at Level 1. I've been using this for 4 weeks, and every night I use it, I stand in the mirror afterwards just touching my face. It feels and looks so smooth and beautiful. I always buy medium to full coverage foundations to cover up scars and blemishes, but since about the second week I've been adding moisturizer to my foundation to make it into a tinted moisturizer. I def don't need as much coverage as I did before. I can't wait to see what my skin looks like after the 8 weeks! This does not irritate my skin or make me break out at all, and I use my same cleanser and acne treatment as always. It did dry my skin out a bit, but I just use more moisturizer the night I use this and there's no problem. Absolutely recommend for anyone!
