I have Amour and Holi as well, the Holi does have a mysterious something to it along with the spices and fruits. I find it quite strong so I use just a tiny bit, more suitable I think for the cooler months. I love it though. I recognized it on a lady in passing and drew a deep breath, "That's Holi!" I don't care for Flower, I find it too sweet. This is a great scent for a mature woman, not for teenagers.

Very interesting, beautiful perfume! I tried it on from what turned out to be the store's one and only bottle--the tester which was illegal to sell--and fell in love! A delicately powdery spicey vanilla, mixed with soft. mysterious notes, hard to separate and define. A modest sweetness, complimenting the other parts perfectly.
The sample I spritzed on lasted all day and lingered even after my shower that evening...not in an overbearing way, just gently, like a good friend. Ordered 2 bottles online to stock up, knowing that it was a limited edition. Still seems pretty easy to get, thankfully :-)

L-O-V-E this perfume. I, like some others, can not describe a perfume officially/accurately to save my life, so I'll give you my interpretation of this perfume and hope it helps!

It's almost like a spicy Burberry Brit, if that means anything to anyone. It's rich, and sensual, and spicy, but also sweet! I can smell it on my skin HOURS later and even on the sleeves of my coat days later. This is excellent!

Bottle is pretty, though the top to it may not travel well for some.

I like it! Luca Turin gave it 2 stars. But I can't help it. So easy to wear, cheerful, happy and actually kind of yummy.
Beautiful packaging.

I can't detect the rice, incense, sandalwood or berries, sadly. They are blocked by the wall of headachey insecticide I get from even the tiniest dab. If I could only work out what that smell is...

A point for the pretty bottle, and another for using Holi as inspiration. Sigh.

Absolutely fantastic, and for the price, a total bargain. It is the perfect clean incense, if that is possible, and I don't like clean, and incense always smells 'bad' musty on me. This, however, is beautiful. Even my 2 year old daughter loved it. I was happy all day wearing this, it is evocative, just a tad mysterious, yet has a certain light cleanness that isn't too strong. It's subtle, and beautiful, and totally, completely worth it to try at the very least!!!

Usually I'm not a big fan of department store fragrances, but this one captured me.

I liked Kenzo Flower years ago, but it was one of those scents that smells better on someone else. I thought it was too light and clean-smelling. This one is just imaginative to capture me, and seductive as well. It lasted all day and into the evening on me (12 hrs +). Bought a bottle on Overstock for very cheap.

Notes: Rice Steam, Cherry Blossom, Incense, Rose, Red Berries, Frangipani Blossom, Peony, White Musk, Sandalwood, Vanilla Infusion.

This is a fantastic scent that can be worn anywhere, in any season. It's a light musky floral that manages to evoke India/Asia without the dreaded patchouli. I absolutely love the note of rice steam. This scent manages to be sexy and comforting at the same time. I've gotten several admiring compliments in the few weeks that I've worn it. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it doesn't last as long as I'd like. But I absolutely love it, and can see myself repurchasing and repurchasing...as long as they keep making this LE, that is. I purchased it at Overstock.com for about half the retail price.

I have avoided Kenzo fragrances at all costs after smelling Kenzo Flower . . . ugh . . . And Kenzo Power . . . double ugh . . . Anyway I attended a fragrance event recently and was introduced to Kenzo Amour and I gave it an " eh OK" then the rep showed me this LE gem and I went bonkers! I don't know how to describe "notes" but this is a lovely exotic fruity floral but it is more mature and sexier than a typical summer fruity scent. I absoltuely LOVE this, so much that I have bought a backup bottle since it is an LE and for now is still fairly easy to find.

As soon as I smelled Amour on my skin, I was even more excited to try the LE Indian Holi version since Amour smells almost exactly like Hypnotic Poison on me (which I love) and I imagined this might be a more exotic version of it. On my skin though, Indian Holi becomes a super light watery fruity floral with some almost-spice that fades in five minutes and bears zero resemblance to the original Amour. Major letdown. No sale.

I don't own Kenzo Amour Indian Holi --- YET! I have Kenzo Amour and I adore it. *Refer to my review for that* Indian Holi has that extra "umph" or "kick" to it that is missing in Amour. I have tested three spray sample vials and the only fault that I find with Indian Holi is that is has minimal staying power on my skin. Preferably, I would layer Indian Holi over Amour and I have done just that to great success! When layered, these two scents compliment each other beautifully. To my nose, Indian Holi has that same soft, airy, milky, barely sweet base that Kenzo Amour is cherished for. I can definitely smell the lovely peony here along with just enough spice coming from the pink pepper/musk notes. There is also a subtle juicy, berry infusion added! I think that I actually prefer the overall composition of Indian Holi to Amour, except for the weak longevity of Indian Holi. I find it surprising, considering it is an EDP and Amour lasts and lasts on my skin like a dream. I would suggest Indian Holi for those that find Kenzo Amour nice but maybe it is too "flat" or "bland" for their taste. I must make mention of the lovely bottle, as well. Indian Holi is made identical to the Kenzo Amour bottles, in a rich, warm berry-red color with beautiful Asian-style gold script. Actually, I consider these bottles to be works of ART. This scent is absolutely delightful and when I have the money, it will definitely be an addition to my collection!

Way too sweet on me. Goes on nasty with a bug spray edge and even passes through a mothball stage, usually indicative of jasmine on me. Wow, so not what I was expecting. Dries down to a super sweet honey floral. Really bad on me. Wow.

I've wanted to try Indian Holi for a while now and finally had the opportunity to do so. I can't help but compare Indian Holi to the original Kenzo Amour and I have to say that I prefer Kenzo Amour. Indian Holi has the same warm, light feeling that Kenzo Amour does but is sweeter with some spices added. Much of the vanilla from Amour is gone and is replaced with the sweeter florals. Pleasant smelling but I will stick with Amour.

This is perfect who anyone who likes darker, oriental scents that aren't overly feminine. I really like Trouble by Boucheron, and this reminds me of a more wearable version of this. The packaging is very unique. It lasted quite pretty long, too. A bit pricey, but totally worth it, IMO. One of the best perfumes I've tried in a while

All in all a nice scent, spicy, exotic, playful, not so cheap. The spice is what comes on my skin more. It becomes a little masculin on me.
I like it more than regular Kenzo Amour, but don't like EL as a rule. Nice bottle. No re-purchase.

edit 22/05: it's growing on me...

Though this is listed as a rose fragrance, I can't smell the roses at all (and I don't care for rose.) I smell vanilla, some light musk, spices, and a berry note. It's lovely and light - I've been wearing it nonstop since the weather started warming up! Staying power isn't great, and the bottle, while pretty, is hard to deal with - I leave the cap off because I am forever putting it back wrong!

I really wanted to like this since I love Kenzo Amour. I tried this on at Sephora and about an hour later I had a headache. Oddly enough my husband didnt know that I was wearing a new fragrance nor did he know that I had a headache. He said to me "Whatever you have on is giving me a headache".

Won't be buying this. oh well. The top notes are nice when i first spryed it on, but when it dried a different, annoying, scent came about. It did not do well on me.

I finally got Kenzo Indian Holi and also Kenzo Peace (Vintage Edition).
I ordered both of the scents unsniffed, based on my love for Kenzo Amour, and it did not steer me wrong. I love them both! I was a little apprehensive about Indian Holi beacuse of the rose and red berry addition, but the rose and berry are both very soft, adding a slightly powdery, more feminine finish to Amour. Comaparing wrist to wrist, the orig. Kenzo Amour is a little more spicy/musky in the drydown and Indian Holi is more powdery soft (in a good way). I'm not ususally a fan of flowery or powdery, but this is so subtle. It's a must-have if you like original Amour.

I also got a really good price on Perufmania, but the normal retail is $65, so kinda high. I will be more likely to re-purchase original Kenzo Amour (already used two bottles), plus this is limited edition, so it may not be around when I finish this bottle. Get yours today!

Every time I went to Sephora I'd test it. I fell in love and bought it, and I'm so glad I did. Like all Kenzos, the bottle is a gorgeous sculpture. The scent is very comforting and (I hate to say this, because I don't want to turn anyone off to the perfume) it has the slightest hint of Johnson's baby oil. Indian Holi smells warm, clean, sexy. Try it.
