Its hard for me to comment on the price because I got it at TJ Maxx so I did not buy it for its full retail, it was 9.99. This smells sooo good. It's hard to describe and quite a bit different than most of my perfumes. Its a little more masculine smelling but does not at all smell like a man's cologne if that makes sense. I do smell a coconut note. There is a foot lotion that avon makes that is coconut and it kind of smells like this. Oceanic with coconut. Love it

I love DESEO!! is a hot and sensual perfume!! I don't know why but it remind me as cherries....I know that when I wear it everybody are gonna smell it....and men will love the fragance, be sure of that!! Suitable on autumn and winter...long lasting, good price, beautifull bottle. Sure i recommend it

Oh my, how much I love this!!! It's absolutely delicious!!!! Got it today, sprayed it on and I can't stop sniffing my wrist!!!! It is very tropical with a sharp hint that makes it just right!! It's perfect for every season in my opinion and it seems to last very long too!! If your skin doesn't agree very much with citruses, try before you buy.

Every spring, I begin what until now seemed to be an impossible mission: find a beachy/summery type perfume good for work, play, etc. that evokes the feeling of a beach without smelling liked I drowned myself in coconut oil. Don't get me wrong, I do like the scent of coconut and I think it has it's place but I've never been able to find a scent heavily laced with coconut that made me feel as if it were appropriate for work. I had done some online searches for beachy type scents and Deseo kept coming up. The notes and description sounded like something I would like so before I bought the real deal, I bought a dupe from an online etailer and was underwhelmed when I got it. It wasn't awful, I just kind of felt like "Meh, it's ok." and into the vault of not-used-fragrances it went. Flash forward one year, and I decide to dig it out again. This time I smelled the sand, the salt, the ocean water and still no coconut and yet there is a beachy quality to it that's hard to put my finger on. It's like being at the beach and not wearing sunscreen or oil. I don't get an abundance of florals although they are listed as many of the notes. I get a hot, sandy, ocean-breeze feel from this perfume. So it seems Deseo has fufilled my need of beachy feel/no overwhelming coconut note. Some reviewers say they smell one but I wonder if it isn't partly the power of suggestion because I don't smell that at all but I do realize scents do smell different to different people. Deseo is something that I can wear to work on a hot summer day and dream of being on the beach. This is not a cool watery scent to me but more of a warm night on the beach feeling. Finally bought the real stuff and I just can't get enough of it. The bottle is just ok in my opinion but I don't buy perfumes for their bottles. It's whats inside that counts. I haven't tried all of J Lo's perfumes because I'm not exactly her biggest fan but for a somewhat "grown-up" summer scent, Deseo is a winner in my book!

In summer months, I like the idea of having a tropical -type fragrance when the mood strikes me. But, for the most part, that type didn't appeal to me upon the dry-down. Most too fruity, too sweet or sharp. Something would be too prominate. The opening of this is strong, but not unpleasant to me. Then I get florals, slighty sweet and somewhat salty, a little coconut. Then, finally the dry-down is a unique warm sexy fragrance. I look forward to the the special soft, sexy warmth in Deseo. And, this last about 6 hrs. on me. I really enjoy this one. So far it is not like any other fragrance I have worn.

The bottle reminds me of Tous H20 and Cool water, so I thought that it must be just another boring fresh scent like hundreds one out there. But I were wrong, this one is absolutely nice and special, fresh yet charming with hint of flowers. All its notes is pretty well blended. But the sad thing is It doesnt last long

Mmm... What a sexy sexy fragrance. It reminds me of a beach late at night... and a sexy woman who wears it. It's a gourmandy scent and it's both spicy and sweet. It also seems kind of powdery so it is a soft fragrance. However, though it is soft in attitude, it is delicious in flavor. Deseo means desire in Latin and it truly is a desirable fragrance. Want something sweet, spicy, soft, powdery, and sexy? Get this perfume.

I Adore this perfume! I recently bought the gift set which came along with body lotion and a roll on perfume. The scent is amazing, everytime I put it on it takes me to a hidden tropical garden with water falls and fresh blooming fragrant flowers are scattered all over the waters. I could imagine myself swimming in there....feeling fresh, fragrant and seductive woman. I definitely recommend this one! J-lo made a good job with this one.. the only downer is that it doesn't last that long...but it's truly amazing! Elegant, fresh, feminine, seductive, tropical....ahhhhh beautiful...just beautiful

I really really like this perfume. It smells so nice after it's been on for a little while. Definitely my favourite from all of the JLo perfumes. Reminds me of being on a tropical holiday! I've run out of this and instead of replacing i bought Vera Wang Glam princess to try out and i love that! I would but this again though if it is on offer or i get a good deal.

I am divided on this one. I like it, but once I apply it it smells kind of funny. It is exotic yet beachy. And it has a slight musky to it. I am not a fan of musk, but this actually smells nice. It is a grown up fragrance. The bottle I think is a little ugly though. Altogether, not a bad fragrance.

I know scent is such a personal thing, but I just love this perfume! I spray it on sometimes before I go to bed at night just so I can smell it. And for the reaction of my DH, who happens to love this scent too. A big winner as far as I'm concerned. Nice job, J.Lo..

I often picked this up in the shop and thought yuck not for me, the other day though i actually tried spraying on myself and wow i loved it! its smells totally different when you spray it after about 10 mins it turns into exotic tropically lovelyness. I found the fragrance i'll be wearing all summer! Its really unique and quite different from her other fragrances. Do try spraying it before you decide on this one!!! It lasts ages too.

Ok..so I just got this in the mail..and FOR a GOOD DEAL...only $14.00 on ebay...3.4oz..:)

Ok..I'm a "gourmand" type of scent gal..love yummy sugary scents..BUT..considering a LOVED BCBGirls perfume-Metro and Nature..this one has the same type of feel and scent to these.

I don't detect any coconut in this...BUT..I LOVE the woodsy and watery notes..this one took my by surprise.

I did spray my beloved Coolada Beauty Rush body mist perfume by Victoria's Secret ontop of this and WOW...yummy!! NOW I get the coconut smell combined with this lovely fragnance. :) I'm pleased to say this one doesn't sound like a Jlo type scent..I hated Still with the passion..too old smelling and boring..smelled like old lady to a T.

But THIS one is sexy with a mysterious edge. It's to me a more nightime scent tho..and it's strong. I also have VS beauty rush body mist in HoneyDo--and layering over with Deseo...i get another type of tropical scent indeed.

Worn and smelled alone..this one is more watery, woodsy and light..but strong lasting. It does change. However, I have only one complaint that I was HOPING to smell "coconut" as some reviewers keep stating..not smelling that on this one..BUT..I have plenty of lovey dovey coconut scents to layer it on with--hence even my coconut body lotion. ;)

I really love this one..but only took off one lippi because again, I was expecting more coconut in this..again not a problem..it smells very fresh and sexy.

The bottle looks lovely..I think it's different. ;) It stands on its own and it stands out..and well done for its creativity. :)

Another "odd" layering I also did was spray Victoria's secret Sparkling Sugared Pear body mist spray ontop of this and OMG....it brang out a scent I have NEVER smelled..and smells so yummy!!!!!!!!!

Actually the sugared pear smells a bit like Fancy-minus the "woodsy" notes in JS's Fancy perfume...but that one is my ultimate FAVE.

I do like this..it is a bit for the older aged women..not too old (like Still-which smells too "grandma-ish")..this one is great for anyone 25 and older. But even with younger girls..this one is sexy.

I don't smell anything too sugary in this one--again, if layered with any other yummy scent..you might find yourself loving this as an all around "base note perfume"...;) Just like we use Primor underneath our makeup...this scent is divine enough to use underneath alot of other floral fruity or gourmand scents as a sexy undertone.

Love it. :)

**EDIT/UPDATE**
Soooo I decided to spray it just by itself (without overlayering it,) and wow...it's green at first, and very sexy warm with a "bit" of sweetness at the end..and this LASTS a LONG time...over 7 hours. Trust me, I'm picky with perfume AND a smoker..and it STILL lasted on me for awhile. Very very nice. I actually don't have any problems holding the bottle and spraying it. Not hard at all to handle for me. And I think the bottle is just beautiful. :)Well done Jlo!

I am usually not one for "celebrity fragrances" but I must say that Deseo is one of the sexiest, most unique smelling perfumes I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. It smells so exotic and when I wear the perfume or the lotion ( which lasts forever) I cannot stop smelling myself haha people must think I am a freak but it smells so good I just cannot stop. I love this perfume and so does everyone else when I wear it. It is a clean scent but not in a soapy way. You have to try this to understand.

I just bought this today and so far...I think I really like it. I am not one to describe a scent but I find this one to be rather unique...not too light...not too strong. My best gage on a fagrance is how many ppl comment on it and so far my mother noticed and said I smelled nice and fresh....next test is my husband when he comes home. I find the bottle is pretty ..different...nice.
I don't care if my perfume is made by a celeb or not...honestly who cares...but this one is worth a squirt at the fagrance counter to test it out.

I was surprised by the low ratings on this fragrance! My boyfriend picked out this as a Christmas present for me. I read that J-Lo created this because she wanted to re-create the scent of her garden before a thunderstorm :S i don't know about that, but to me this fragrance is summery and fresh :) perfect for hot weather! the bottle is meant to resemble a "diamond in the rough" or something. It was rated the best made celebrity perfume for 2008, and I believe it's really a unique, summery fragrance :)

I wanted to like this so badly. I'd seen the gorgeous bottle for months at work (walgreens)... and after Christmas when all the gift sets went 50% off + employee discount.... it would have been $13 or so for a 1.7oz EDP, perfumed body lotion and some dinky necklace set.

I first sniffed it at the end of a sinus infection and it nearly killed me.... but that gorgeous bottle! the exotic name! the.... unbeatable deal.... I hid the gift set in the pharmacy file cabinet for three days before committing.

So today I deliberately went scentless today. Sprayed the tester at the beginning of my shift. Sniffed and sniffed, let it mix in, sink it... to try it out over 8 hours. And in the end I was just let down. It's a weaker version of Victoria Beckham's fragrance; without the softness and cashmere. I was completely bored.. it's one note. One long, very boring flat floral note.
